I stayed at Gansevoort with my mother for one week. We asked a room with two double beds. They gave us a room with a small windows looking to a dark area between buildings. We asked them to change the room and they proposed a lighter room looking to the corner of 28th street and Park Avenue... We really liked this room with big windows, spacious and clean. They told us that it can be noisy but not it was not... For sure you are in the middle of Manhattan it is a bit noisy but it is ok... The sta... Read more

My wife and I spent four nights in the first week of February 2017 at the Gansevoort Park Avenue. I have lost track but she insists this was our 26th trip to NYC so I suppose you could say that we have more than a bit of experience with NYC hotels. I would offer that, by NYC standards, the Gansevoort Park Avenue was comfortable, the rooms were modern, the noise level was better than average, and that the baths were nicely finished. Our standard, 7th floor room overlooked 29th Street and had n... Read more

We've stayed at the Gansevoort Park Avenue many times recently. It is an amazing hotel. The service and staff were excellent. The rooms are so spacious and clean. Bathrooms are awesome! The rooftop bar/outdoor terrace and year round pool are incredible! The location near Flatiron is the best! Great shopping and delicious restaurants just steps away!

Service is outstanding, great rooftop bar, and the hotel restaurant is great. Usually a good value, and the rooms are well appointed at every level. The location is convenient to catch the subway to Grand Central which is only about 6 blocks away, and it is a 10 minute walk to Times Square. That section of town is also pretty calm at night, with an excellent deli across the street and a Starbucks next door.

I'm a fan of Gansevoort on Park Avenue, but I wanted to call out the exceptional service I encountered during may last visit this January. I had issues with a reservation (mistake on my part!) and front desk manager Elizabeth Cardona took care of all the issues and had me settled (cocktail in hand!) in no time. Ms. Cardona is a true professional and a hospitality super star! There is no reason for me to go to any other hotel in NYC!

My girlfriend and I have just returned from our second trip to the Gansevoort Park Avenue and once again we were definitely not disappointed. Our first visit was in mid November for our 5 year anniversary. I had upgraded to get flowers in the room along with a bottle of wine. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a warm friendly welcome and we're given amazing customer service at the check in desk. When we arrived to our room we opened the door to find a trail of rose pedals leading from the doo... Read more

Ok this is a very nice hotel all around. Service is great and the food is excellent. I'm not sure if all the rooms have the same tubs or not but mine was amazing. I'm not a small person. The extra deep, concrete soaking tub in this place allowed me to fill up to my to my neck for the best hotel bathroom experience I've had. I'd go back just for a soak! Kudos to the designers!

Love this hotel! This was my third stay and it never gets old. Everyone at this hotel goes out of their way to make sure you're happy! The rooms are always clean and stocked with amazing bath products. Room service is quick, delicious and very reasonably priced! The pool is always a highlight especially in the winter. Nothing like swimming in the shadow of the Empire State Building in January! Need to thank Christina for making sure this stay was perfect!
