"I booked this hotel for its name: Lola, the cool hip decoration and the good location... the name changed but it's ok... I was in a very basic single room... just what i needed... clean room, nice bathroom and comfy bed... I was close to everything i wanted to c in New York... loved the morning walk to Madison park and the flatiron district... 5th avenue is soooooo close too :)
the only thing i wished i had was the coffee set that is usually complimentary but i didn't get it there... not even waters... i managed though...

"The hotel was in a convenient location. Everything is brand new but rooms are extremely small, so not what they look like in their pictures. I had a queen sized bed and there was barely enough space to get around and a tiny closet that seemed more like a locker. Bathroom was small but nice. The cleaning of the rooms is not very efficient specially if you leave your stuff on the sink or night stand.When you leave the hotel and have transportation pre-arranged to pick you up there is no one to help with your luggage. "

"Hotel Lola was in a very convenient location - within walking distance to great shopping and Times Square. There's a Starbucks at the end of the block, so it's great for getting morning coffee. We stayed in a spacious room - the Queen Superior, however some of the rooms are quite small. There didn't seem to be a lot of information about hotel services in the room. The rooms were very clean and fresh. The staff was helpful if you needed or requested help. I would recommend this hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

"My overall experience at LoLa was excellent. The room was very comfortable, clean and pleasing to the eye. Yes, the layout of the room was awkward as I had to side step past the bed to avoid walking into the flat screen TV over the bed. That said, this is NYC and space is at a premium. Also, I visited other rooms and found the rooms mostly had better layouts. Some rooms had bathrooms with windows that exposed the toilet and shower to the neighboring buildings. And, there was only one glass shower door, which caused the floor to oftentimes get soaked with water from the shower. But, once again, these are areas that could be easily fixed and the hotel was only recently renovated. The restaurant had excellent food and service. The hotel staff was efficient and well informed but could have been friendlier and should have extended more info on the hotel during the registration. And, there was oftentimes no doorman to assist with luggage and obtaining a cab. This hotel has a lot of potential and it's well on the way towards reaching a high level of quality."

"This was our first trip to NYC. The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff was also very friendly. I think the location was also great, it's within walking distance to Times Square. The rooms are a bit small but the beds are very comfortable! We mainly used the subways to get around town, it was so easy and affordable to use. I would recommend to stay here for sure!"

"We're so pleased to stay in nice hotel like LOLA, convenient location as well. The room is so neat and clean. The bed is fluffy.nThe hotel ambiance is contemporary. You'll see the bar in lobby area. They have restaurant too, but I couldn't say further more because we didn't visit it. The staff are helpful and very nice. We arrived around 12:00pm and she allowed us to check in early which we really appreciate. The next morning, we're looking for brunch place around the hotel. Simone one of the staff told us to try 'Tasty Cafe' which was not far from hotel. We had brunch over there and really enjoyed it.nOverall, we are satisfied with our stay with LOLA. We'll definetely stay there again."

"This hotel is very centralized and very clean. Me and my wife had a great time. We arrived in La Guardia and used public transportation all the way to hotel. (1 Bus $2.50ea & 1 Subway $2.50ea)$5ea-Metro card...Everyone uses public transportation in NY. Taxis are for suckers or people that want to blow all their money in cabs. Anyway from the moment we showed up before checkin time we went to front desk jet lagged of course and they checked us in immedietly. The hotel is very nice and clean! The room was like a small studio but very modern furniture, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and lcd TV. I wasnt really worried so much about size of room because I didnt travel 3600mi to stay in room. Maids clean the rooms everyday. If your not used to loud noise at nite bring earplugs because NY never sleeps and you wont get much sleep neither if you dont bring some but its the city, not hotels fault. Anyway the hotel was a great deal for value and location. Have fun!"

"This is a great boutique hotel with a prime location. The staff was very friendly and the rooms are clean. This hotel does not have a kitchen so if you're looking for room service all you'll get is a cocktail. Rooms are not small, decent size. I stayed in the delux queen but later switched rooms to get a better view. I would definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed six nights and could not be happier with our stay. Pleasant surprise from new owners. Free Wi-Fi. Great location, two different subway lines within easy walking distance. Empire State also a short walk. Comtemporary room decor, large bathroom, flat screen TV, A/C, comfortable bed, quality linens. Nice lobby, fitness center, business center. Good value for a great Manhattan location."
