Arrived met by porter who took our bags, room very nice and comfortable, food in the hotel very good, we did find one waitress is very pushy, all other staff were very helpful and friendly we would stay here again, just around the corner us a lovely bar called the ear inn.

Great SOHO location. Very easy to get into and out of the city via the Holland Tunnel which is only a few blocks from Hotel Hugo. Quiet rooms, good restaurant. Rooftop bar has incredible view of city.

When we arrived, the concierge offered to have us "pull around the corner for our comfort" to valet our car for $20 (cash) instead of the $65 the hotel charged. It was really awkward, very uncomfortable and did not instill confidence in the trustworthiness of the concierge. I opted to pay through the hotel but I absolutely do not appreciate this approach. Also, we booked this hotel specifically for the rooftop bar so we could have a nightcap with nice views of the Hudson and the city and the roo... Read more

Location is good if you're looking to be near Soho. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. The rooms are small (what you'd expect at a boutique hotel in NYC) but clean. We didn't try the restaurant. Overall, a nice stay.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel Hugo, a nice and comfortable room with view on the Hudson. We also really liked the neighborhood. The only downside is that the rooftop bar, which was one of the reasons we booked this hotel, was closed for renovation, of which we were only notified when we arrived.

This is the perfect hotel to stay in if you are looking to experience the Soho, West Village side of New York. It is on a quiet street but also in a perfect central location very close to amazing restaurants and stores etc. The hotel itself is a small boutique style hotel. It is a very relaxing and trendy hotel with a grey restaurant and bar area looking to retreat after a long day. My only negatives were the room service options and whilst the staff were very helpful and friendly, I did find th... Read more

We had an amazing first time in NYC and the Hugo Hotel made us feel very welcome. The hotel staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for you. The services in the hotel were great, albeit the roof top bar was closed for renovation.

Chose to stay at the Hotel Hugo for a weekend in the city as I always like to try different hotels while traveling to NYC. We love SoHo so this was a perfect choice for us and also, coming from Newark, we found the location super convenient as it's really close to the Holland Tunnel. Staff is nice and helpful, the ambiance is modern yet classic, with that typical vibe of a boutique hotel. Rooms are small and if like us you're a couple traveling with large suitcases it will be difficult to move ... Read more

My friend and I went to see an Adele concert in September of 2016 and we stayed at Hotel Hugo for the night. As soon as we arrived a young gentleman named José was outside waiting for our car to pull up. He greeted us politely and told us we could leave our car right where it was (right in front of the doors of the hotel) and it would be cheaper than going to the hotel parking. We were so excited!! He then took our bags from us and brought them up to our room.. we didn't carry anything. Our ent... Read more

Clean and stylish but it lacks the friendliness needed to elevate it. We also could not access the rooftop terrace during our stay, which was one of the main reasons why we booked here - no one told us it was closed. In fact, we walked straight into the 'building site' from the lift. Room was spacious and clean but not very sound proof - we were woken by guests coming back at night. Location is excellent for Spring St subway, and walking south down Greenwich St soon gets you to some good restau... Read more
