We stayed at the Holiday Inn Lower East Side for 3 nights and would definitely return. Coming from JFK was easy as the moment you get off the Williamsburg Bridge you arrive which means you don't arrive in Manhattan and then spend another 30 minutes weaving in and out of traffic.  Remember it's a 3.5 star hotel - so don't expect a doorman, robes and slippers or room service BUT you can expect a clean room with comfortable beds. There was no fridge in the room but that didnt bother us. The ... Read more

We came in from Brooklyn, and spent half an hour circling the area, to get dropped off on Delancey. Not There. The entrance is behind Verizon Store , west side street, Off Delancey!!!! I would have been very angry if I had paid for the cab time. In spite of this, we had a reasonable stay. The restaurant on site is like a pop up diner. On the last day, both waitresses were no shows, and Hotel admin. Had to wait tables. Which they did, with Very good humour. Holiday in should reward them.... Read more

This Holiday Inn is advertised as a 4 star hotel, which I think is a misclassification. The hotel is average, with a friendly and accommodating staff. Pros: Proximity to transit and sights. Good value when booked at lower price points. Friendly and accommodating service, and well designed, but not as refined as a true 4 star hotel would be. Cons: Dirty walls and floors, in both common and private spaces. Mold and mildew in the showers Holes in the sheets. Very noisy, from inside and out... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights and were so impressed with our stay. Although the rooms are quite small which we were expecting staying in NYC it was such a comfortable stay. The room was extremely clean and well stocked with all the amenities required and they have spare of everything just in case something is forgotten which happened in our case. The staff were fantastic. They greeted us every time they saw us, joked around with us but were so professional at the same time. We really... Read more

Our program took a group of students to this hotel for a school trip. Not only was the staff the most accommodating, outstanding and professional group of people we have ever had the pleasure of coordinating a trip with, but the hotel experience was phenomenal for the students and the chaperones! The breakfast was tasty, special requests were honored, and the location of the hotel allowed students to travel to great landmarks and have a truly memorable experience. Overall it was a great visit. Clean hotel rooms, fantastic customer service-very nice staff, pretty good location (very close to a subway station, but the neighbourhood is not the cleanliest or coolest, it's still safe, though). One advice: do not go to the restaurant downstairs, Retro bar&grill; expensive, bad food, pretty empty most times. Bottom line: we recommend!

Great location. Within walking distance of the subway. Very convenient and affordable . The staff was so generous and pleasant. They made recommendations for dinner and was very knowledgeable of local Hotspots in the area. The hotel was also safe and protected with security. We loved it so much we booked an additional night.

The hotel is not located in a prime location, but it was a very pleasant experience to stay here for two nights. The staff gave a warm welcome and the provided room had everything you expect and need: a comfortable bed, a flatscreen TV, a nice bathroom. It was not very spacious, but there was enough room and a great view towards the Williamsburg bridge. The surroundings of the hotel area a bit like New York in the 90s - not as clean and tourist friendly as Times Square today - still the area fel... Read more

If you work in hotel let advise you the # 1 reason for your existence is people want a place to SLEEP!. therefore especially on weekends don t Knock and especially stop screaming yelling and chatting among yourselves in the early morning. If you don't like to walk there's a subway almost outisde the front door. The staff were friendly and helpfull. The Holiday Inn in the LES is a great little find. The price was right for my one night stay in comparison to other hotels in the area. The hotel was very clean and the room was modern, although small. But it is NY! The only complaint was that every time the AC kicked on, it was a bit loud and sometimes woke me. However, I would return to this hotel should the need arise. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Location great for activities in the LES area.

I booked this hotel on Hotwire because it was listed as a four star hotel with 95% approval. Technically this is a three star hotel and that's pushing it, but apparently they call it a four-star hotel because of its"exceptional service".
