We wanted a hotel room in the West Village, and this worked well. Room is small, but typical for NYC. It did have everything needed including a coffee maker, wifi, iron, safe and a basket underneath the bathroom sink for your toiletries. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is a few blocks from the subway (#1) takes you uptown to Times Square or Macys and walking distance to lots of restaurants in the West Village. Short walk to the Highline or the new Whitney Museum. Hotel is off Varick ... Read more

We stayed here one night as we were visiting family in NYC. The property is on a quiet street in the SoHoVillage area, with a close walk to Greenwich Village and NYU. The rooms were small, even for NYC rooms, but the property was nice. Great location, the bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, the staff was excellent. May be a little pricey compared to places I have stayed in Midtown East, but maybe it was supply and demand on this particular weekend. Small room, so not great ... Read more

Had everything we needed. It was clean. It was close the the subway and very easy to get to from the JFK via train and subway (use the Vanderbelt exit at Spring Street on the E train). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was great and had fabulous view. Noisy only when you opened the window.

I have visited New York, NY a few times, both business and pleasure and have stayed in different hotels in NY. this has been the smallest room I have lived in. I think it was smaller than my room on a cruise ship. To make matters worse the view from my building was a concrete wall of the other building only above 25 feet away. For a claustrophobic person like person for me, not a comfortable time at all!

This is a very good hotel - unless you are noise sensitive. The doors are heavy and the rooms close to each other so you hear people coming in and out of their rooms. There was also construction next door, but the staff went above and beyond and moved my room which I was grateful for. Price is worth the value of the hotel.

it was a nice hotel, like expected for the brand. Only thing i would warn you about is the PARKING!!!!! $60 to valet. Which is insane! Hotel was only $100 for this night which by the way is a steal for NYC but I guess they robbed me back for the parking. otherwise its a cool hotel if you don't mind the noise but people this is nyc its noisy everywhere. enjoy the city. more of a business or couple or single thing, wouldn't suggest for young family members

There are limited hotel options in SoHo and the Four Points had the strong selling point of a convenient location for my trip. The hotel is tucked on Charlton Street in a sliver of a building. The hotel is 21 floors, 8 rooms to a floor, with very narrow halls. There are two elevators and the wait for an elevator can be fairly long. I was on the top floor in a room that brings new meaning to the word "cozy." Other words that come to mind? Tiny, cramped, cell-like . . . you get the drift. On ... Read more

This hotels is a not frills hotel, but located close to shopping and dining. The hotel staff was very friendly and the hotel room was very clean. The beds were not Westin, but I slept well. Make sure you bring your own shampoo unless you want to use the pump one located in the shower.

The staff of this hotel is fantastic! They answered many questions, including restaurant recommendations and travel tips. The building is tucked in between other high-rise buildings, so don't expect much in the way of charming architecture or views of the city. However, it seems convenient to the subway station and very convenient to SoHo and Little Italy. I found the room to be small but sufficient since most of our time was spent sightseeing. Be careful not to stay on west side of building as there is massive construction that started very early and it was so loud that I couldn't even hold a conversation. Also, the restaurant was terrible. Front desk staff were nice and friendly and tried to accommodate. If you need to stay the night in Soho this isn't the best choice right now

First off, the staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful and just all around pleasant. Great location. The rooms are small but if you're in NYC and doing it right, you won't be spending much time in your room. It was very clean and comfortable. I will most definitely stay here my next time in NYC.

Stayed over Memorial Day Weekend - Thursday to Monday. Nothing really bad to say - about what was expected for a three star hotel in Manhattan. The room did have a strange smell to it but looked clean. The best thing about the hotel is the location. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and well located for sightseeing in Chinatown, Little Italy, Lower Manhattan, and Chelsea - all within walking distance. Construction at adjacent building but the noise was not bad while we were there.

The hotel is within walking distance of Times Square and several "local eateries" along with several chain type restaurants. I love the style of the hotel and the service was impeccable. Not cheap but if you are in NYC, you are not going to find cheap! I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Good location but rooms are very small. Front desk is terrific & helpful, especially Trinita & Allison. Lots of places within walking distance, including the subway. Minutes walk away from SoHo, Village, Little Italy, Chinatown & the Hudson River. The location is probably the best thing about the hotel.

I stayed here for one night just for a short trip to nyc. Very basic hotel- great price for a decent location. However, 5 stars for their front desk agent Alfredo. What a true gem Starwood has in him! I have traveled the world and he was one of the friendliest and most helpful front desk agents I have come across. He made my stay better then average!

I have stayed in New York several times, however; this was my first time staying in Soho and I really like this area. It's about a 20 minute walk to NYU area and a 45 minute walk to Times Square. The room was quite basic, moderately cleaned, but I did love the shower! The shampoo & shower gel dispenser was a great touch and so easy to use! The staff were friendly and very helpful when I needed to change the length of my stay.

The facade of the building is really amazingly underwhelming . Don't expect a valet service at the hotel. Pull up to the loading zone , check in, and leave your keys with the front desk people. Front desk folks are actually the best part of the hotel. They are helpful, friendly, and polite. The rooms are an okay size and are clean. Brian was there with helpful ideas and one staff member ? took the time to walk us to the metro and show us how to get passes! Clean room/ bath, fresh coffee in morning, adjoining bar with outdoor seating and a buy one/ get one free beer! Safe, walkable area with metro close by. We paid $30.00 a day to park our car.

Their billing system is terrible to say the least! I was billed twice for the total amount before my visit and it took a whole month of phone calls to correct this. During my stay, I was billed a 3rd time! I thought I resolved the issue with the front desk person ( while I was checking out) who told me I was issued a credit. No credit received and they even increased the amount they debited! What a mess!

I have stayed in many of the boutique hotels in this area, and this is a good value. The rooms are small but that is to be expected in this neighborhood, but the service was Outstanding! The rooms are tiny and depending on what floor you are on, you stare at a wall out of your window. The AC works great. The bathroom had no storage place and no bath mat. At nearly $500 a night this is a pricey place to stay but if your business is in SoHo and the stay short, it is very convenient. The rooms are nice, and recently updated. My only warning would be that it is right next to the entrance to the Holland tunnel where cars and trucks honk at each other all afternoon and evening, so don't plan on a nap or a quiet workspace but it was quiet by 11 PM for bed.

The main thing about this hotel is it's good location in Soho. The streets immediately surrounding the hotel are not that interesting but a couple of blocks away there are great restaurants, dive bars, shops etc etc. There is also a subway station one block away although we just caught ubers or taxis everywhere, so access is good.
