Hotel is located in a great location just minutes from times Square and all the shops. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Some what small for family of 4 but very nice. Staff was very professional at checkin, Max is great. Breakfast was very good, Abdou our waiter was awesome. So friendly and accommodating. I recommend The Fitzpatrick at Central Station.

With Grand Central at your door step, this hotel has an excellent location. But it is the people working there that make it extra special. Maximiliano checked us in and he was truly fantastic. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. The bed was comfy and the room surprisingly big given that we are in NYC. Overall, highly recommended.

The good was a quiet comfortable room. Helpful staff at reception. The Wheeltapper Pub is a lively place and we found it idea for meeting family. I just just surprised at the charge for wi-fi in the room. Its free in the lobby.

My husband and I had to make a quick business trip to New York City for one night. We chose this because it was close to our meeting, didn't have a history of bed bugs, and the price wasn't outrageous. Our room was a little cramped but not unusual for what we've experienced in other large cities and was very clean. We spent a total of 8 hours in the room, but we would definitely return. Staff was friendly (very young) although gave us tips on eating twice and both times they were way off as ... Read more

Very clean room. Nice decor. Good location. Just steps away from Grand Central Station. Dine in or walk over to Third Avenue for a variety of quick food options. I requested a street-facing room because I like the city noises, although 44th Street between Lexington and third is a rather quiet street because there's no cross-town traffic. The front desk staff is very pleasant to deal with. I didn't think the price was out of line considering location, size of the room, decor and service. ... Read more

Situated a short walk from Grand Central Station, this hotel is within easy walking distance of most tourist attractions. Times Square and the theatres of Broadway are also walking distance away as is the subway system providing access to wherever you wish to go. The hotel lobby is warm and inviting with a homely feel. Check in staff are friendly and efficient. The lifts are not large but are efficient. Our room on the seventh floor was fairly large, well maintained and the decor was quite nice.... Read more

Comfortable and clean, our room had no view, only a view of brick walls. This was not a problem after all we just used the room for a base and sleeping. The room nice and well appointed, nice bed, and bathroom. Must say perhaps could have been a bit bigger. No meals taken in hotel, after all we were in the centre of NYC Manhatten and all it has to offer. We took the odd drink at the bar, well made cocktails, but as you would expect expensive. We had three nights in NYC before jetting off to Hawa... Read more

Myself and my husband arrived to the Fitzpatrick Grand Central for the 3rd and final leg of our honeymoon. I had read plenty wonderful TripAdvisor reviews regarding some special treats that the hotel had provided for other honeymooners (champagne and strawberries/free wifi), neither of us would make a big deal about why were were on holiday but when the receptionist asked us what brought us to New York I was secretly hoping maybe we would get a nice surprise too! Not even a congratulations. We... Read more

This is our second stay at the Fitzpatrick. Highly recommend the hotel. Front desk personnel are very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable beds. Great location. The hotel is on 44th Street which dead ends at Lexington Ave which helps keep it quiet.

We'd never heard of the Fitzpatrick when we suddenly learned that our original plan to stay with a friend fell through. Someone recommended the Fitzpatrick because of the location, and when we saw it was available, even at the last minute, we immediately booked. What a hidden treasure it has proven to be! We will stay here whenever we come into New York.

Checked in by extremely pleasant staff and this continued for the whole of our stay, very helpful. The room we had was gorgeous but I would imagine they all are. Everything you would need, hairdryer coffee/tea maker, TV, robe, iron and board even an umbrella plus a free safe. Bathroom great, bath and shower, toiletries provided and the soap is gorgeous. Plenty storage and hangers. The bed was sumptuous and so comfortable. Cleaner came in every day with fresh towels and did a good job. The hotel ... Read more

We would definitely recommend Fitzgerald Grand Central for the following reasons; Location - across the road from Grand Central Station (as long as you take the correct exit). Not far from Times Square, Empire State Building, Rockerfeller and Central Park. Staff - all are very courteous and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms - we had a great room on the 8th floor. Comfy bed, fridge, safe, air con, iron, umbrella, large TV, tea and coffee replenished daily, water and chocolates. Free wif... Read more

The Fitzpatrick is a great little Irish hotel. We stayed for one weekend night with our 1-year old daughter. The room was a decent size, especially by NYC standards! The staff were all so nice and accommodating. The adjoining pub had a great breakfast. The hotel is so close to Grand Central station which made it the ideal location for us. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful small hotel in a great position, minutes walk from Grand Central Station, the Chrysler Building. Close to The Rockerfeller Centre and Empire State. Irish family run hotel, staff very helpful, has it's own pub.

Fitzpatrick's is now my home from home when in New York. Honestly could not recommend the staff more. Each member of the team greets you with a warm, friendly hello and nothing is too much trouble. Been twice in last 3 months and wouldn't stay anywhere else when on business. The hotel's Concierge Mike is the source of invaluable info-bookings, timetables, getting around etc and is a credit to the hotel. Central location is a real advantage for business people.

My husband and I moved our daughter to her new apartment on the Upper East Side and made last minute hotel reservations at the Grand Central Fitzpatrick Hotel. What a wonderful experience after a busy day. The hotel was lovely and the staff could not do enough for you. They have a fantastic interior court yard off the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel.

Andrea and Garfield really stood out but everybody was nice. The Rooms were Very clean and excellent size. Our room was situated on the second floor right outside the courtyard bar but it closed at 11pm so we didnt notice at all. the courtyard is a great place to relax with the drink. I use Grand Central Terminal for many of my business trips to New York. The Fitzpatrick is located so close to Grand Central but some how misses the bustle of neighboring hotels. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The room was clean, comfortable and of reasonable size by NYC standards. The pub, outdoor patio and common area was inviting. Food was good and the drinks hit the spot. I was worried about a second floor room on the street side (street noise) but it was very quiet. It wa... Read more

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. Had a delux double double room with a nice sized bathroom. Room had a view of the wall but the upside was it was very quiet for the centre of Manhattan. Nice restaurant albeit a bit limited for choice but not a problem as loads of other eating options. Would definately recommend this hotel

An OK hotel. Typical non premium Manhattan hotel with small rooms. Staff are nice. Don't use the Internet. Very high fee and dial up speeds. Free in the lobby area but definitely not worth it for use in the room. Wifi keeps dropping and is very unreliable.

I stayed at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central for 6 nights at the end of June, the hotel is in a great location 2 minutes from Grand Central Station, and it has a lovely bar/outside seating area/terrace on the ground floor, I had a room on the 7th floor which was really quiet, no view from the room (apart from a brick wall) but hey this is New York and you are only in your room to sleep, the room was a good size, the decor a little tired but apart from that no complaints, a couple of things could ma... Have just stayed here for 5 nights and could not have been happier. From check in to checking out nothing was too much trouble for the very helpful and always polite staff especially Janice and Emmanuel. The location and the facilities were excellent and would recommend this hotel every time which cannot be said for other more well known and expensive hotels in the area.So all that is left to say is a big thank you to all the staff and i would definitely stay with you again.

Spent 5 nights at the Fitzpatrick hotel, I could not be happier with the choice. We had a king size bed that was, in a word, delicious. And considering that we were on 44th Street and NEVER heard a peep of street noise makes me believe dreams do come true. Each day after returning from our adventures we were greeted by a couple bottles, glass bottles no less, of spring water and some chocolates. Patio bar was great too. My interactions with staff were wonderful, location couldn't be better. All ... Read more

I have been to NYC many times and stayed at so many but the charm of the Fitzpatrick is a special treat in the city. It felt very European and the Irish-ness of the clientele is a special treat. The hotel is convenient and has personality - I recommend as both a business accommodation and for leisure trips.

My husband and I arrived at Fitzpatrick Grand on Wednesday 6th July 2016 distressed and emotional after discovering my husband's bag containing all our US cash, passport, driver's licence and wallet was stolen on the train from Washington to NYC. Arrived in NYC at 5am. Taxi brought us to the hotel and we thought we'd have to leave our luggage and go find somewhere to wait until checkin. NOT SO. Our room was ready for us and they hussled us into a lovely room where we were very comfortable. Slept for 5 hours on a wonderful comfy mattress and then hit the sites. There is a pub in this hotel - an authentic Irish pub with great food and bevvy's. Staff for both the hotel and the pub were lovely, helpful and courteous.

This is a little oasis in the heart of Manhattan. From checking in until departure I couldn't fault the team at Fitzpatrick's - all of them were super and couldn't do enough to make our stay as good as it could possibly be. Bed was super-comfy and bathroom was spacious. Also, location was adjacent to a subway which allowed us to manoeuvre Manhattan easily, from Yankee Stadium uptown to Battery Park downtown.
