Hotel is located in a great location just minutes from times Square and all the shops. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Some what small for family of 4 but very nice. Staff was very professional at checkin, Max is great. Breakfast was very good, Abdou our waiter was awesome. So friendly and accommodating. I recommend The Fitzpatrick at Central Station.

With Grand Central at your door step, this hotel has an excellent location. But it is the people working there that make it extra special. Maximiliano checked us in and he was truly fantastic. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special. The bed was comfy and the room surprisingly big given that we are in NYC. Overall, highly recommended.

My husband and I had to make a quick business trip to New York City for one night. We chose this because it was close to our meeting, didn't have a history of bed bugs, and the price wasn't outrageous. Our room was a little cramped but not unusual for what we've experienced in other large cities and was very clean. We spent a total of 8 hours in the room, but we would definitely return. Staff was friendly (very young) although gave us tips on eating twice and both times they were way off as ... Read more

Very clean room. Nice decor. Good location. Just steps away from Grand Central Station. Dine in or walk over to Third Avenue for a variety of quick food options. I requested a street-facing room because I like the city noises, although 44th Street between Lexington and third is a rather quiet street because there's no cross-town traffic. The front desk staff is very pleasant to deal with. I didn't think the price was out of line considering location, size of the room, decor and service. ... Read more

Situated a short walk from Grand Central Station, this hotel is within easy walking distance of most tourist attractions. Times Square and the theatres of Broadway are also walking distance away as is the subway system providing access to wherever you wish to go. The hotel lobby is warm and inviting with a homely feel. Comfortable and clean, our room had no view, only a view of brick walls. This was not a problem after all we just used the room for a base and sleeping. The room nice and well appointed, nice bed, and bathroom. Must say perhaps could have been a bit bigger. No meals taken in hotel, after all we were in the centre of NYC Manhatten and all it has to offer. We took the odd drink at the bar, well made cocktails, but as you would expect expensive. Been twice in last 3 months and wouldn't stay anywhere else when on business. Great hotel, located close to Central Station so easy to find and orient yourself. Rooms were nice and good value (<$200 per night which is hard to find in NYC) and we had a high level room (floor 7) which was quiet and had a nice comfy bed with a good shower. THe staff are really friendly and helpful and the bar downstairs does great food and reasonably priced drinks, and there is free wifi in the lobby area. So why not 5 stars? Well they charge $14 per 24 hours for wifi and only allow one devi... Read more

Perfect location, for all the tourist 'things'. Room was plenty big enough for the 4 of us. Comfy beds, cheap pillows though or they need replacing. Air Con very effective. Lovely fizz and strawberries when we returned after our first day - thank you. All staff very friendly and helpful. Had dinner a couple of times, was fine, but we thought a bit over priced for what it was, there's plenty of other options nearby though. No free wifi in the room is penny pinching. Would we return again - yes de... Read more

Lumpy queen mattress, old small room with noisy fan. Don't just don't go there. The public areas are nice-ish but the "remodeled" rooms are just old and dowdy. The mattress was old and lumpy. The room was so small we couldn't leave our opened suitcases on the floor for fear of tripping. The air conditioning system was a loud floor model. People who give this place got d reviews are masochists.

Stayed 5 nights recently in Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel. It's location is a few minute's walk from Grand Central Station and the Subway. Had the Continental breakfast, which was very good. The bar is a lovely place to relax, and has real "pub" feel to it. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was a good size. Must give a special mention to the Concierge, Garfield, who always had a lovely smile, and was very helpful.

The hotel has some of the friendliest and helpful staff I have ever encountered. Our room was wonderful. The location terrific--accessible to everywhere we wanted to go. Given all of that, we were shocked, therefore, to find that the food was mediocre and, at breakfast, the coffee was awful. I believe these things can be improved!

An Irish hotel in NYC, homey, inviting, comfortable, with simple charm and great service. If you travel to the city often, on business or pleasure, you should know this hotel. We love it. It feels like a home away from home, and the pub is traditional Irish. A lovely outdoor patio space, too!

Decent location especially if you need quick access to Grand Central Terminal. Front desk so friendly, especially Andrea. Used valet parking and it was quick delivery of the car. Room was adequate size. Andrea tried to upgrade us to a suite but it was facing a wall and we wanted a street view. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Champagne waiting for us as it was our anniversary, such a nice surprise! Would definitely stay again. Very accommodating.

While it took us 24 hours with flight delays on American Airlines both coming and going when we reached the Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel we were pleasantly greeted by the folks and the front desk and given two drink tickets in their lounge. Our room had two queen beds and was very clean and spacious. They have a nice roof top deck, lounge and restaurant. All employees were pleasant and helpful. We were there for a week and would stay there again.

Lovely area out the back for drinks Would recommend this hotel to any type of guest and in a great location only about 15 mins walk to time square . Only small negative is that if your facing the street you can hear a lot of sirens throughout the night but not the hotels fault .

After being recommended this hotel because of its Irish feel, we were decidedly unimpressed. The food in the bar was below average, and the room small with a cramped feel about it. Service was haphazard at best and the breakfast expensive yet of poor quality. Some of the desk staff were helpful, but not all. On checking out, the porter watched myself and my wife struggle with cases out of the front door. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable. I would not stay here again, or recommend it.
