The hotel was clean. My room was excellent. I did not have any problems during my stay. I felt very safe while staying there and checking in late at night. I was recognized as a club carlson member. I was offered complimentary breakfast and given a gift at check in.

This hotel is nice so far. The breakfast was good and they have free tea and coffee in the lobby. I stayed withy family for the weekend. The people who work here are nice. They have a pool and fitness room, which is a nice size for about 20 people.

This hotel was perfect for the 3 days that we spent in Rochester. The staff was all very friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was a nice perk. Our 5 year old loved the pool! It's in a great location too and very close to a lot of restaurants and stores. We will definitely stay again when we come back to visit the museum of play.

When I fly out of Rochester airport I usually stay at a hotel right at the airport that offers a park 'n' fly package. Well, that hotel seems to have changed hands and/or closed. So, I looked for hotels in the area with shuttle bus service and found this hotel. So great! They have a free on-demand airport shuttle bus - the driver was AWESOME! In fact, all the staff there were extremely friendly and quite helpful. The wifi was really great - none of that one tiny signal super slow stuff - they ha... Read more

Hotel is very clean and staff is super friendly. Easy access from interstate and to and from airport. Excellent restaurant within walking distance. Nice area to sit outside on those nice evenings. Movies to borrow and watch in your room at N/C. Always has snacks and beverages available when entering the lobby.

We stayed in room 122 ( double queen suite). My two year old and I were taking a nap/resting midday when I saw something reddish/brown crawling towards him. Immediately smushed it and got up quick as I feared the worst. I then quickly removed my son and pulled back the covers, only to find another very small reddish brown bug crawling around. My mother then saw another larger reddish brown bug crawling next to the wall mounted headboard. Thoroughly grossed out we left right then and there a... Read more

Unless your flight leaves somewhere between 10 am and 8 pm, there isn't a shuttle, even within that time frame, it needs to be prearranged, well in advance. Additional fee for leaving your car. The key cards do not work (3 times). No towels in pool area.

I stay at this hotel for frequent visits to see family and it is located so that I have easy access to where I need to go! The bike trail nearby is an added bonus as well as a scenic ride along the canal.

Very nice hotel in Rochester...spacious and clean rooms...comfortable beds and pillows. We had two rooms and both parties agreed the Country Inn and Suites was one of our best accommodations on our trip. Very helpful and friendly staff. Self serve breakfast was above average...food was fresh and breakfast area was super clean. They have free Wi-Fi...a pool...and a great location. My husband and I had stayed hete several years prior and thought it was great then...still do. This trip, we only st... Read more

Hospitality was extraordinary. Housekeeping was polite. Front desk staff and management very helpful and courteous. Continental breakfast was a plus. Had a problem with smoke alarm going off whenever we showered, but accommodations were made and the staff seemed genuinely apologetic and concerned.

price was good. this hotel is in need of remodeling. we have stayed at many other Country Inn and Suites, this one did not meet the standards set by previous stays. breakfast was the same every day for the week, no biscuits, gravy or pancakes. floors are in need of a deep cleaning, room had a musty smell. staff are friendly and eager to please. when clogged drain was reported, they got right on it to fix it.

My mom had surgery at Strong Hospital both times I stayed here and the Shuttle was a life saver. I do not drive or have a car and having restaurants in the parking lot is fantastic. The Staff is amazing, always nice and willing to help.

Room had carpet that was very stained and did not feel comfortable walking on it. Had to buy some flip flops at mall for walking on the carpet. Door to room stuck and I almost hurt my shoulder trying to get in. Maid had to help. Cupboard door to refrigerator fell off when opening.

We stayed at this hotel to attend the Hill Cumorah Pageant in Palmyra, NY. Our room was very comfortable (we had a king suite), the pool was very nice and breakfast was decent. The hotel is located near a great mall and lots of restaurants. Over all, we had a very pleasant experience while staying here.

The facility has been well used and cared for. It is just time to refresh/refurb the place. I had expected a tub/spa,.. not there. The staff were quite friendly.. For some reasons there was only a sheet and a HEAVY comforter on the bed. I am average height, a bit heavy and even I found it too heavy to use,, hence the low score for sleep quality.

This hotel can go either way making it a three. Really the only bad thing about this hotel is the front desk staff. The staff just isn't really that pleasant. They care more about the wellness of the company over the customer which can be good and bad depending on the POV. Housekeeping is amazing, maybe even the best I've seen yet. The complimentary breakfast and mid day snacks are amazing and nutritional, the rooms are cozy, the bathrooms are small with an external sink. I'm going to say i r... Read more

My family found ourselves stuck in Rochester for a stint unexpectedly in June 2016. We booked a room at the Country Inn last minute (the morning of our stay) and ended up extending our stay in one or two day increments over the course of 10 days. The Country Inn was a comfortable and extremely accommodating temporary home for our unexpected time in Rochester. The rooms were very comfortably sized, clean, pleasant and comfortable. A convienient location (15 minute drive from Eastman School of Music and downtown Rochester), also located between a TGIF and a steak house. This place is clean and QUIET! when we made reservations they said to show our AAA card when arriving. we did and it took forever for them to figure out the price. we stayed for two nights but not in a row. in room 223 the chair had large rips in it and the water in the toilet ran all night. we informed them as we were leaving but nothing was done. They also didn't give us our wakeup call so we left later than we wanted.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. The carpets were stained and the pull out sofa was covered in stains. It was gross. The pull out sofa was broken with metal pieces hanging off the end. I have stayed at Country Inn's before and enjoyed them but this one was overall the worst. Needs updating!

I want to first say that the staff here is very helpful and friendly. The issue I have here is how the room is layed out. The bathroom only has the toilet and shower. The sink is directly across from the bathroom. I was getting ready the morning we stayed and myt using the sink woke up my wife who otherwise would have been sleeping. For an overnight it is OK buy I wouldn't stay here more than a night because of it. Unfortunately whoever designed the rooms, did not do a good job of doing so.

First off, don't believe the advertising about how great their breakfast is. It wasn't a whole lot different than most other chains that offer breakfast. They DID have eggs...if you want to call them that, they were either freeze dried or frozen or some other type but it wasn't anything I was interested in eating. They also had sausage; I don't eat sausage, but my wife does and took one bite and decided to go with another choice. We mostly stuck with bagels/cereal, although I did have a make... Read more

Not a typical Country Inn. It is in need of renovations. The entrance was uninviting, congested and surrounded by smokers. Once inside we were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff member named Mathew. Our room was strangely laid out but clean and well equipped. The strangest part of the layout was the bathroom. Toilet and shower behind a door that when opened eclipsed the light switch which was in the hall. If anyone used the toilet in the night the light had to be turned on before entering, ... Read more

We had a nice room with a king bed and small refrigerator tucked away in a large entertainment center. Also had a nice work space which we needed since we have an internet based travel business. The first issue we was with the desk chair which was missing the seat covering on about a third of the seat. Told the desk clerk the next morning and we had a replacement chair when we came back the next evening. The seat was fine but the chair was BROKEN!! You sit in it and it swayed from side to side!!... We are extremely disappointed in our stay! Although your staff was very friendly, we did not receive the accommodations that were paid for and the room was unacceptable! First, the room: the A/c in the bedroom was right next to the bed and if turned on the person on that side of the bed was blasted with cold air, if turned off the room was to hot! The additional section of the suite did not have A/C nor did it even have a fan! When the door was closed it was unbearably hot to try to sleep! S... Read more

The hotel was a good price and in a decent location. Hotel staff was very nice and quick. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast, but was missing some things. Only yogurt was "lite" and no fruit salad, just an empty space where the bowl should be. The room was in need of some TLC. Stains on carpet, and someone needs to vacuum to the corners. This hotel is extremely limited for breakfast and needs to be updated. The layout of the room is very small with noticeable areas that needed to be addressed. This is a good Inn, in spite of the fact that it really needs a complete refurbishment. The carpets are beyond anything a carpet cleaner is capable of handling efficiently, the furniture is banged up and the mattresses need to be replaced.
