My husband and I are enjoying a four night stay at the Cassa. We are regular visitors to this wonderful city and have stayed here a couple times before. The location is excellent, close to everything. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the beds are comfy. The shower is lovely, my only complaint is lack of counter space and towel rack in the bathroom. There is a Pret de Manger cafe next door with yummy warm treats and great oatmeal for breakfast! This is a great place to stay in New York City... Read more

The hotel is on 45th West between 5th and 6th avenue. I had a standard room on the 11th floor. The room was nice and clean with a very big bathroom. The TV had full HD channels via Direct TV. There was a Pret a Manger right below the hotel and you can order breakfast from it via room service menu directly. The hotel also had a gym that I didn't use. The room had a fridge and a locker. The Butter restaurant had a full bar and good lunch and dinner menu. There was also a Starbucks and loads of re... Read more

So before you book, make sure that it's the correct Cassa Hotel; it turns out that there are two and you might see the same pictures for both online. I, for one, am not a rookie but should've definitely done a little more research. I booked it last minute as a weekend getaway. It turns out that this one doesn't have a jacuzzi on the rooftop as I expected...major letdown but rather than that... Great location which is a major plus and the staff was amazing, as well as friendly (none of that N... Read more

The Cassa hotel on the 45ft is very well located. 5 min walking from Time square, 15 from the Empire and Central Park, 2 fron Park Avenue. The staff is friendly and always available to give indications or solve an issue. We did not try the restaurant and the breakfast, a little too expensive, but in line with the prices of Manhattan. This is anyway not a problem because all around the hotel it is full of places where to have a traditional and not American breakfast for reasonable price (i.e. The... Read more

Lovely hotel in an excellent position for everything. Staff were all really nice and extremely helpful. We had a split stay, taking in 3 days in Washington during the week, the Cassa stored a case for us while we were away at no extra cost and both the hotel rooms we stayed in were very clean and furnished lovely. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend and use again ourselves.

The lobby staff was great, very attentive and assisted with parking as the usual Casa parking facility was full. This is a small hotel, a little cramped from the lobby to the hallways but the rooms is standard size-ish, maybe a little on the smaller side but the decorators did well with the furniture to maximize the space. The invested in the bathrooms though, they were great. The hotel is not next to a park or a major landmark and is in the middle of the block so the view are not great from ... Read more

We came for a Mother's day Family Gathering from all over Canada. Grandma, Teens and Pre -Teens and we had a fabulous stay. We are frequent travellers and I have to say this hotel has the fastest elevators ever and the best showers. Everything was a hidden gem. From the best sofa bed, to thoughtfully laid out cabinetry to spacious bathroom to the best beds and linens. We stayed in a Junior King suite and it slept 3 comfortably and my sister stayed in a double double with her pre -teens. The Ju... Read more

I stayed here for 3 nights (4 days) through work this past week. I cannot say enough about how helpful the staff were, how clean my room was, how I was never interrupted by noise, how centrally located this hotel is. A special shout out to Tara who has the best personality of all of the ladies at the front desk! I feel like I don't need to elaborate on this hotel and can simply say - book this hotel and you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic staff and location made our 2 week stay SO awesome! All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and couldn't do enough for us. Clean room, comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom and shower made the wife very happy! The location is so central but remarkably quiet, we couldn't have been happier! Many thanks again to all.

Great hotel in a great location on 45th street just east of 6th Avenue. Well appointed rooms with excellent bedding including some of the best mattresses I've ever slept on. Price is fantastic considering the hotel quality, service and location. Only downside is no pay movies, or in room minibar. Overall a solid 4 star hotel at 3 star prices. Go and stay you won't be disappointed!

The hotel is smack in the middle of midtown and close to the Radio city hall. The awning of the hotel is in WIP so it can be hard to find but i hear from the staff they are going to fix that. Great staff, nice rooms, free wifi, nice bathrooms and they have Direct TV. There is a really nice restaurant at the basement level of this hotel called Butter and they also have a bar at the back of the lobby. The hotel could use a small general store where you can pick up snacks, coke, etc.

This hotel is walking distance to theatres on Broadway, without being in the middle of Times Square. As a solo female traveller, this is important. Felt very safe walking at night after seeing a play. Staff were fantastic. Close to subway and shopping. Rooms were small but very modern with new furnishing. The shower was amazing. This is a very tall Manhattan hotel with just a few rooms on each floor, which gives it a boutique designation despite its height. The staff is very friendly. We spent a two-day weekend there to celebrate our anniversary. Even though we live less than two hours away, we enjoy the thrill of spending overnight in "the city." There are lots of positives with this hotel. Excellent, friendly service, free and efficient wifi, very clean, nice lobby decor, great location, fast elevators, high quality television (with directv service), a feeling of safety, and at least when I stayed, a very reasonable price (through priceline's express deal feature). The downside is both the room and the bed are very small -- those are the only aspects that keep it from five stars.

Great location just off Times Square - if that's your thing. No problem finding it at all. I was in a room on the 4th floor - surprisingly spacious for a New York hotel; comfortable, clean, with a very modern bathroom. As others have noted, not a lot of external light, but I would emphasise the fact that the ugliness of the light well is disguised much better here than in many other New York hotels. Front desk team superb - really friendly and helpful

Walking distance to Empire State Building and Central Park and everything in between. The room was very large , which is quite a luxury in New York City. Nice big modern bathroom. Apparently there are 2 Cassa hotels (i.e. this Cassa doesn't have a hot tub and doesn't give free breakfast but the other does so be mindful that some reviewers may accidentally write a review for the wrong location). Had a spectacular stay at the Cassa Hotel. Check in was smooth and we had a great room on the 26th floor. We were in New York for our 5th anniversary and were presented with complimentary drinks at the adjacent restaurant, and a very tasty (and huge) cookie. The hotel was fine - clean bathroom and comfortable bed, and the staff were very friendly. First we got a room with a strange smell, and got a new room once we told the staff. The only really negative was the size of the bed. Being 6'2", my feet stuck out at the other side. And being two persons in this bed felt a little crowded, at least when trying to sleep. :D Both rooms had the same sized beds. Estimate beds being approx W: 4'11" x B: 6'3".
