"First day I arrived they had over booked apparently. I booked one queen and they didn't have any so they provided us a room with two queen beds. This was false. It was two twins. The room was facing the eastside highway and was very loud. The room heater made a vibrating noise and was very loud. Unpleasant first night. The next morning the staff was very nice and moved us to our proper room with a king size bed. Excellent!! The heater was not loud and this time was facing away from the highway. The walls are slightly thin and you could hear your fellow guest mates next door. The staff are very helpful otherwise. Location was far from a metro station and had to take a taxi during the cold days. Overall happy with the second room not the first. Location is not the greatest unless you like the upper east side residential feel."

"So we stayed here because we chose not spend the 350 a night where our friends wedding was. This was so we could go more days for same price of a couple days. They were VERY friendly and helpful. There is not a lot of extras, but we wanted a place that was clean and in Manhattan. We walked a few blocks to get to subway and enjoyed the neighborhood, when getting a Taxi the doorman would get it for us, treating us like stars. When needing anything the front desk got to it right away! Then when going to the wedding downtown we noticed their doorman didn't treat us near as nice as ours. The hotel has a way of making you feel you are in a high class place without playing that amount."

"Faces the Queensboro Bridge, location is not ideal for tourist as far as walking to attraction and distance from Times Square, but the inside of Hotel, and room was nice, very comfortable and cozy. Rooftop is really nice at night. Good Hotel for the price, if you get a good deal. Was charged double for one night stay and i paid in-full 3 months in advance. Corrected a few days later on my bank account."

"Beautiful hotel. View from the restaurant was wonderful. Unfotunately construction was going on so we could not go out on the balcony. Good food. Our only problem we had was the air and heat in the room. One night it was too hot, another night too cold. Thermostat did not work and had to have maintenance come up. The other thing was our room was not cleaned until after 4:00 pm. Because no coffee in the room, you had to pay for coffee each morning. Not that big a deal but would have been nice to know up front."

"We enjoyed our visit and the stay at the Bentley. It is very convenient to buses and subways. The only complaint was a double-charge on our final bill which had been prepaid except for incidentals. We had a $55.00 charge for dinner at the hotel and it was tripled on our check-out bill and had to be corrected. It could have easily gone unnoticed by us. However, upon telling the clerk, it was easily deleted and the original charge was credited to our American Express. Thank you for the good service."
