"La habitación no era tan grande pero tenía baño privado que es lo principal, me pareció muy buena para el precio que ofrecen, tomando en cuenta que New York es una ciudad muy cara. Además de contar con ascensor. Su ubicación es perfecta, queda en una zona tranquila frente a Central Park y cercana al subway, por lo que es fácil movilizarse desde ahí. El staff es muy amigable, y hablan diversos idiomas, están siempre dispuestos a ayudar, e incluso ofrecen la facilidad de cuidar tus maletas después del check out, en caso se quiera hacer una ultima salida. Definitivamente volvería a quedarme ahí. The room was not large but had a private bathroom that is the main thing, I thought was very good for the price they offer, considering that New York is a very expensive city. In addition to lift. Its location is perfect, is in a quiet area off Central Park and close to the subway, making it easy to get around from there. The staff is very friendly, and speak different languages, are always willing to help, and even offer the facility to care for your bags after check out, if you want to make a last exit. Definitely would stay there."

"Always wanted to go to NYC at Christmas time and this was a perfect opportunity. Astor on the Park was easily reached by public transport and the M60 bus for LaGuardia arrivals was a huge saver. The room was basic: bed shower cupboard for storing clothes. It was rather hot due to the large steam vent pipe in the shower but the AC took short care of that. Didn't really use the hotel concierge service but staff was always nice when we left or came back. Basic room at a good price for a pricey city."

"The rooms were small but adequate and clean. The beds were very comforable because we had the best night's sleep. The view of Central Park was a small one but a good one and you had good access to the park.

"The hotel is correct and the staff is (mostly) friendly and helpful, but the standard is quite basic. It would be OK but for the fact that it is quite remote from the interesting parts of NY, and there is really nothing in the vicinity in terms of commerce or dining facilities,"

"viaje en crucero a NY y al llegar me hospede por dos dias en este hotel, fue muy agradable la estadia, es un hotel economico con todo lo necesario para pasarla bien. Es limpio, tiene baño privado d un tamaño adecuado, las camas son muy comodas, buen servicio de limpieza, a/c, calefaccion, esta justo al frente de Central Park nos toco el piso 11 tenia una vista espectacular al parque. El personal del hotel fue muy cooperador orientandonos en todo momento ellos hicieron q nuestra estadia fuese mas agradable, realmente resulto todo segun lo vimos en Bookit. Gracias a todos!!! Realmente volveria a hospedarme aqui. // cruise to NY and get me two days staying at this hotel, the stay was very pleasant, is an economic hotel with everything you need to have fun. It is clean, has a private bathroom d an appropriate size, the beds are very comfortable, good maid service, a / c, heating, is right across from Central Park we play the 11th floor had spectacular views of the park. The hotel staff was very cooperative at all times to guide us they made our stay was q more pleasant. Thank you all! I really would return to staying here."

"mi estadia en fue muy buena, es un hotel que tiene todo lo necesario para una estadia agradable, es limpio, comodas camas, baños privados con tamaño adecuado, staff muy agradable siempre dispuestos ayudar y orientar pues conocen mucho del area, la estacion del subway a solo 3 bloques super accesible y se encuentra justo al frente de Central Park lo que t ofrece la oportunidad de disfrutar de la belleza de este maravilloso parque, todo fue como lo habia mostrado. Definitivamente volveria a este hotel. // my stay was very good, is a hotel that has everything you need for a pleasant stay, clean, comfortable beds, private bathrooms with proper size, very friendly staff always willing to help and guide as they know much of the area, subway station only 3 blocks super accessible and is right across from Central Park which offers the opportunity t enjoy the beauty of this wonderful park, everything was as it had shown. Definitely would return to this hotel."

"Aside from the prehistoric ammenities ( door key, radiator, 1990 television) the overall service if the hotel was excellent. They addressed all of our concerns in a very timely manner. I almost forgot about the towel issue. Although plentiful they appeared old and dirty. The neighborhood had a lot of character."

"For the most part we enjoyed staying here. Staff were pleasant. Room is small and very limited amenities. TV was small and really outdated, no cable and few channels. Had an ironing board but no iron. One of our beds broke during the night, a leg fell off. Linens very clean however they didn't always leave enough towels and wash cloths. Subway is very close, however if you are not at one of the LARGE subway stations it is NOT handicapped accessible. There are many small stations compared to large ones. It is a ways from the Times Square area if you are taking a taxi. Elevator is very small and too slow. There are no vending machines or ice machine. You have to call the front desk and someone brings you a small bag of ice. No complimentary coffee in the room either. If all you need is a bed to sleep in you are set. Price is decent. if you plan to spend time around midtown, times square etc, I'd stay someplace closer."

"i checked in and was put a key on counter and told my room numnber and have a good night. (poor customer service) i walked into room to see a walkway about three foot wide around the bed. (no space to put bags storage problems) if you are planning on driving the only parking is on the street. you got to move your car every other day for street cleaning and dont park in front of fire hydrant . the lady on the night shift wasnt nice at all i wouldnt stay in a another room that is the size of my closet . i would rather pay a little extra and get space to have in the room"

"The hotel was perfect for us. With tax and charges it was only $110 per night. The hotel is right across the street from Central Park and three blocks from the subway. We arrived early and our room was ready so we got in to leave our bags before heading downtown to David Letterman. The rooms are small but we got the two bed room so we each had our own bed. The bathrrom was nice and clean. I've read from others and it was true with us that their heating system is problematic. It was really hot even without our radiator off. So we had to use the AC even though it was in the 30's outside. We finally turned off the radiator inside and it was comfortable. The hotel has no amneties but is close to them. You can have food delivered and there are plenty of Delis/cafes nearby. Bike rentals and bus stops close. It was nice and quiet and it is about 8-9 stops on the subway to mid-town and Times Square. We would definetly go again. If you are picky and not flexible and easy going, I would recommend paying more and staying somewhere else."

"I the hotel;s location was great from getting to he train station. Plus across the street was Central Park. The staff was professional and very helpful. The Bathroom was nice size. My only complaint was when I walked in the bathroom, behind the door hanging up was a bra. I guess the cleaning crew forgot to look back there. All th other areas of the bathroom was clean, so I guess that was my only surprise."
