"I was a little worried about booking a mystery hotel instead of the one I knew I liked, but it turned out great since the mystery hotel was actually the one I wanted to stay at in the first place! So I got the place I wanted AND got to save a little more money. Our room was tiny but not so tiny that we actually felt cramped, and we're both pretty tall people. When we got to our room the first day we couldn't figure out how the thermostat worked and the front desk had someone up to our room in minutes to get it working and fix our air conditioner. And then when we left it was no trouble at all to have the doorman arrange a town car for us to take to the airport the next day. This place made our first trip to new york a lot simpler, kept us from going over budget, AND looks freaking sweet. Would totally stay here again."

"Very pleased with this hotel- the doorman made me and my friend felt welcome the minute upon our arrival. Professional and fast service at the front desk. Clean, chic and spacious rooms. Adjustable room temperature to suit our needs. Clean and modern bathrooms. Not to say it is only a few blocks from the subway/ Times Square/ shopping/ Broadway theaters/ 5th ave/ MoMA!!!

I have stayed at plenty of hotels in NYC and the quality of this hotel for the price I paid was beyond my expectations! Highly recommend!"

"The hotel was much more than we expected!!! The doorman was like having a BF in NY! The hotel is truly a reflection of the `boutique hotel` ! We were wowed upon arrival...room 712 and 902 were incredible!...902 was exposed to more noise and construction but both rooms were super hip, clean and modern. Front desk service was very corteous and rapid. The proximities of Manhattan are there!!! Few blocks from ALL Manhattan attractions! Iguana`s next door is fun as is the deli...soup Man etc...!!! David Letterman studios around the corner....what can I say! I am a picky 49 year old...would recommend this hotel to ALL! Surprising! Enjoy"

"We were very pleased with the hotel. It was convenient to Times Square, Central Park, shopping, and sightseeing. The staff was very friendly and prompt to take care of anything we might need. They seemed to anticipate what we might want and produced it before we asked. The room was exceptionally large for NYC and was clean and well-maintained. "The hotel when we first arrived had a beautiful lobby, however they checked us in to an occupied room, then to a room under construction and then to a mediocre room. Finally after sleeping in the awfully tiny room we complained and were upgraded to a very comfortable suite. It had a great view and pretty decor. Located minutes from time square, but just far enough away that you can take a sign of relief when you escape the crowd. The hotel was nice, the service was mediocre, however I think service standards in new york are just overall lower than those in toronto. But well worth it and a great deal for a great hotel.

"We booked this through a mystery deal and I would a) definitly books a mystery deal again and b) definitly stay at this location again. The physical location of the hotel is magnificiant, just a few blocks one way to Times Square a few blocks the other way to Central Park and easy access to the subway system. There are lots of good restaurants close by and as you are right on Broadway, the shows seem to be right around the corner.

The staff are brilliantly friendly and supportive in whatever the issue you have and will help you with booking anything you might need...or contacting the airlines for lost baggage as in my case.

Downfalls: A super slow elevator and having to pay for internet and calls out of the hotel, including local and 1-800. Would be nice to see a larger business centre.

Overall, great time and would stay again. "
