Here Chef Georffrey Zakarian focuses on quality cuisine that emphasizes American ingredients prepared with a French technique. You can expect to find such innovative dishes as Berkshire Pork Belly Benedict with pancetta, grilled Treviso, sweet potato and smoked forbidden rice for breakfast, Hudson Valley Chicken Salad with cous cous, radish, mango, baby carrots, mustard greens and mustard vinaigrette at lunchtime and on the dinner menu - Pork Loin with braised mustard greens, quince and apple marmalade, parmesan ham broth, and mac and cheese. Of course, these are only samples of the impressive dishes prepared daily.

"Lovely hotel with genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Great location, quiet rooms, exceptional food at 'The National' restaurant (though waitstaff seemed overwhelmed with crowded diningroom on Sunday morning) - have stayed in many boutique and chain hotels in NYC and will be delighted to return to The Benjamin."
