Excellent ratio Price-Quality, Queen size bedroom comfortable and clean, fully equipped Bathroom, well allocated, walk distance from main attractions or for public transport to them, Nice staff, acceptable Breakfast. A bit noise rooms but not disturbing your dreams. I can recommend it for those people looking for an option to sleep and breakfast and to use the whole day for discovering New York.

Stayed here just one night having returned to New York from Washington DC. Booked it because it was one of the cheaper options at this time. The hotel is very basic but was adequate for our needs. It's obviously quite dated in terms of its decor but our room (queen bed) was spacious enough and was clean. There was some sort of inadequate bath drainage problem where the water took ages to drain out of the bath - I saw this mentioned in another post. The wifi worked no problems. It's not really ... An older hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Good location for convention center and easy to walk to Times Square (bout 20min) and Rockefeller Center. Booked room with 2 Queen Bed. Was a little cramped up. Carpets were not to clean and sad furniture. Bathroom was clean though. In short, if all you need is a bed and a bathroom then you can handle this. Breakfast was good.

We never stayed here but they wouldn't refund my booking when I tried to cancel. I asked for them to only charge me for one night and they refused that as well. Very inconsiderate! I spoke with the manager and she was not even nice about not refunding my

Firstly the positives Great breakfast, just what you need to set you up for the day. Great beds very comfy Negatives Only one lift and so very slow at peak times stopping at every floor The room isn't small the bed is just huge but it's fine for the few days you will be in the city. Now this bring the score right down for me. On arrival they asked for a card which is normal. However they failed to mention that the were holding $100 on it. If I knew this I would of given a different card.... Read more

The room was nothing fancy, but had 2 comfortable beds and coffee making facilities. It is a very tired building and could do with a complete makeover. Our room was adequate, as we only really slept there, but the carpet was filthy. Luckily I took slippers to wear, and had to throw them away as the soles were filthy and didn't want to put them in the case. The breakfast was 'ok', but it did save us from looking for somewhere to eat, but again, it could do with a good clean! The plugs near t... Read more

Generally OK hotel. Be prepared for a small room. The king bed we had barely fit in the room between the furniture. We were there for a show at Javits and struggled to get two people (husband and wife) 2 suitcases and a couple boxes of show supplies into the room without stacking on everything. Generally clean, and had a nice temperpedic mattress. Was a bit noisy but not unusual for NYC. Outside the hotel for a block or two in any direction was a bit shady, might be a experience for any si... Read more

We did searched a good hotel, with close by access to the metro and busses and close by to the center such as time Square, central park, ‚?¶ So, we ended up in this hotel, when entering the hotel, I did see quite quickly that this was an old hotel, unfriendly staff. The room was old, carpet on the ground, bathroom quite dirty, the water in the bath was not draining away ( we had this called out twice to the reception, with no action what so ever). Not really warm water in the morning, the breakf... Read more

What a great location, great service and great breakfast. Our room was small, but we asked for a king bed in NYC. I expected it. The room was clean, well equipped with coffee, hair dryer and towels. The staff was very friendly!!!
