The Quin is well located but not too close to the activity of Times Square. Service wash good, the rooms clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Not noisy although could hear sirens from time to time which is probably typical anywhere in NY. Only issue was aircon struggled to keep room cool enough. May be worse when it gets to summer. Close to good convenience store.

Very expensive and didn't deliver on the small service I asked for. Room was noisy being right on the street. Was expecting an upgrade but given a deluxe room. Toiletries provided are amazing. Food from their restaurant was OK. It very expensive. Coffee machine in the room was great in the morning. My toilet ran all night and I found the noise hard to sleep with.

My husband stayed at the hotel as part of a work meeting in the city. I tagged along to do some shopping. His company booked everyone at the Quin because the Plaza was full. The staff is excellent at the Quin; we were greeted at the door, they got us right to our room, they welcome you back when you return (and you can tell they do remember you). However, we had numerous issues with our room. First, the bathroom door wouldn't lock. The lock itself was jammed and wouldn't turn. We happened to b... Read more

Location of the hotel is the best one. Central Park behind the corner. 5th ave one block away. Everything is really close including best restaurants. It is a boutique hotel, so you always have your privacy and don't meet hundreds of people every time passing through lobby. Concierge team is great, they always help to book the places, specially the ones that hard to get a reservation. For such a city as ny it's very important. Room as well was very good , big, bright, with a big bathroom.

I'm staying at the Quin for three nights for business (my second stay). I rarely bother to write reviews for a business stay as there usually enough interaction with the hotel to have an informed opinion. That said, I found it interesting that at check in, I was handed a card with Trip Advisor emblazoned on it with an earnest request to write a review. Unfortunately, the Quin staff gave me enough reason to write a review after just one hour. And none of it was good. I had just landed after... Read more

We really enjoyed the location just a few blocks from Central Park. This is a busy part of midtown with lots of traffic and construction etc. going on in the surrounding area. A three-month work stint in New York this summer was completely saved by my experience staying at the Quin. After an initial week in a sub-par Midtown hotel, I'd read the reviews of the Quin and ended up giving it a shot, along with several of my work colleagues from Los Angeles. What a blessing that turned out to be! Yes, the rooms are large (by NY standards! ) and well-kempt. But what sold us was the staff and the service we received at the Quin. This is not the fanciest or most luxurious hotel in NYC, but it is well located and has modern rooms. They run on the small side, but we reserved through Magellan and got an upgrade to a bigger room. I've been to Manhattan on many occasions over the last 20 years and I'm still struggling to find a hotel I will return to. Beautiful hotel. Most comfortable and enjoyable. Staff was most courteous and helpful, All appointments in bathroom were new and up to date. We would definitely stay at The Quin when we again visit New York. The location is close to everything.

Unbeatable location - a stone's throw from Central Park, Carnegie Hall, midtown offices and all the shops in Fifth Avenue and Madison. Staff are very helpful and polite (by New York standards) and the rooms and bathrooms are immaculate.

First time there and better than expected. Great location also. Very comfortable room and wonderful bathroom. We're a bit concerned about the noise being on 57th street but the room was very quiet. Recommend without hesitation.

Very enjoyable experience at the QUIN, great location , kind and efficient hotel staff. Food was good, room clean with good amenities. I wish there where more dressing cupboards as only a small one was on site. Minibar as never been refilled for 21 days, a bit strange but overall; it was a nice stay and it's a nice and very convivial property . Would definetly visit again sometime in the future.

Great location and ambiance. Paulina at the Front Desk was amazing and so accommodating. This is a luxury experience, located so close to 5th Avenue and Central Park. The rooms are a bit small but nothing uncomfortable. I will be back

Nice Hotel situated close to Central Park, 5th Avenue with shops and restaurants. Ten minutes walk to Time Square. We had a picnic lunch in the park. Pleasant to sit there and watch people and enjoy the atmosphere.

My girlfriend and I stayed at The Quin during the Hotel Show in November 2016. We loved the physical facility and amenities. However, what made the stay extra special, was the service. From the pleasant hello from the room attendant in the hallway, to the doorman that helped me grab a cab, everyone was extremely helpful and pleasant.

My husband and I planned a trip to NYC to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. We've been to NYC two previous times and stay in both Times Square and Lower Manhattan. This stay and location was by far the best. The hotel is a quaint boutique style with renovations done 3 years ago. Very modern, high-tech and nice appointments. We stayed in a 2Q room to give us more space and it was very roomy for a NYC hotel room. The location is great, just a block from Central Park and the staff was extremely... Read more

I would like for the hotel to consider having a microwave in selected suites. The location of the hotel was near all major attractions, which decreased our costs in daily transportation costs. Overall, this was a wonderful trip that I look forward to repeating in the near future.

Rent a suite and it was really small for the price. The bathroom is just centimeters from the bed it is very uncomfortable. Hotel is Weill maintained and clean location is ok. I guess this is not really a 5 star hotel it is more a 4 star hotel

I've had the privilege of staying at most of the true five star hotels in New York City. The Quin comes pretty close. Because this is a smaller hotel it definitely has that personal touch. While the rooms are not large , room 314 was perfectly appointed and the decor was extremely functional, stylish, high tech and captured the true essence of high design. The bathroom was absolutely flawless, from the faucets to the pressure of the double rain/hand shower. I am only critical of one situation.... Read more

A friend recommended the Quin as she had stayed on two previous occasions. I hadn't been to New York in over a decade and was traveling on my own for 1 week so was sceptical about staying somewhere unfamiliar but I was so pleasantly surprised. I had booked a premier room with a city view but when I got there the room allotted was very small& had no view. Dan at the front desk organised aanother room for me the next day. This was the premier room I had scene online& the housekeeping staff were v... Read more

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend, and the stay was excellent! From tentative doormen and staff to free champagne and cookies, the hotel treats each guest as being of the utmost importance! The location is great for sightseeing walkers like us - two blocks from Central Park and not too far from the theater district, Times Square, and loads of shopping and great restaurants! You pay a bit more for an experience like this, but it is sooooo worth it!!!

The Quin Hotel is in an very convenient location to many Manhattan activities and sites. My family all enjoyed our visit to the Thanksgiving Parade and had an excellent room for viewing all of the parade. The staff was very helpful, responsive and professional. I would encourage everyone to check it out.

We found the Quin to present a great option for viewing the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. We had a room on the 8th floor, on a corner, that oversaw 6th Avenue and 57th. How exciting it was to see the parade from above. The room was nicely appointed too and spacious. The pillows were thin and collapsible, but the bed was good.

Valet was a nightmare. They certainly don't make it easy for you. Most the staff didn't even acknowledge us. The room was tiny, not what I expected. We had a nice view of construction men working outside.

Our family stayed at the Quin over the Thanksgiving holiday. The hotel staff were friendly and always available to assist. Our room had a partial parade view. Although much of our view was of the back of the parade, we thoroughly enjoyed watching the parade from our hotel room. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an enjoyable NYC vacation.

Spent one night here for a special occasion- it is The quintessential small boutique luxury hotel in prime location. They upgraded us to a suite with a large bathtub because of the occasion, the room was immaculate and well appointed with two bathrooms. Zachary at the front desk was exquisitely accommodating and left us wine and chocolate covered strawberries in our room. We will 100% be back here. Personalized service that you don't get at the Four Seasosn or Ritz
