For the past year this has been my second home. It's a great place to stay with friendly staff and everything you need within walking distance. Recently a motel manager ask if me and friend wanted to see a basketball game. He then gave us great seats at the Barkley Center for a Nets game. Stay here you won't be disappointed!

the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott is centrally located in downtown Brooklyn and is convenient for walking to several of the neighborhoods such as Fort Green, Brooklyn Heights and the Barclay Center. The rooms have been redone in Eurostyle, sparse, but very nice. The only problem is that there is no big restaurant, only a bar which has a limited menu. Where to start. Checked in yesterday for a 6 night stay. One King suite and an adjoining bedroom for our son. The suite was not ready till after 4:30 yesterday as they are renovating and were removing furniture, etc. When we finally got in, the very spacious suite has NO full length mirror. Only the regular bathroom mirror. And NO dresser. Nope. No where to put clothing that isn't hung up. The front desk said "this is the direction hotels are going". Really? Guests no longer use m... Although it was a long wait before my room was available (arrived at 12:15pm but the room wasn't ready until 4:15pm), I enjoyed my stay. My room was recently renovated so it was very clean and pleasant. Elevators came quickly. The front desk was very helpful. Catering provided for meals was excellent. The location was ideal. I was able to walk to and across the Brooklyn Bridge, explore Brooklyn Heights, walk on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, explore nearby restaurants, and people watch. All whi... Read more
