Decent stay. Good location, clean room. For the price I can't believe wifi not included. I think they have free in the lobby, but it's $13/day in the room. Rooms are small, but reasonable, considering you are just sleeping. Bathrooms are good. Everything was clean.

I stayed here for 6 nights in June 2016. The rooms have been refurbished to a good standard. The lobby area is very funky and modern. Staff were very nice and the WiFi is fast and free for members of Marriott's loyalty programme. The only downside is that the rooms are small (I was staying in a King Room) and the air con is noisy. A solid hotel to stay in though and I would return.

Rooms were small, but you expect that in the city. Beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were well set up and easy to move around. Check-in / Check-out were easy, and the staff friendly. Only drawback, but not really worthy complaining was that we asked for a room on a higher floor, but were only on 4th floor.

Nice reception staff though waited for an hour for the room to be ready. WiFi readily available which kept me busy while waiting. I felt compensated for the wait when my checking out time was extended by an hour on request. The room was adequate in size for New York. Clean with large TV, safe, and ironing facility..which was excellent for my business trip. Relatively quiet at night. Starbucks and a restaurant on the ground floor open till midnight...the restaurant at least. Walking distance to U... Read more

This is a great contemporaryly designed hotel. The staff was nice and friendly. The beds are comfortable and its location is close to almost everything. Hotel is only 2min walk to subway. Its only a 5min walk from bus tours that take u sight seeing...and next door to a walgreens.

Good place to stay if you can get the 193.00 for a night deal. Typical small NYC hotel room. Check in staff is very accommodating. Bar lounge needs service assistance as they couldn't manage the crowd they had.

What a great hotel for the price! Only 8 blocks from Grand Central, it was great to know that we could leave the train station and not have to travel too far. My room was very clean with a nice view. The Staff was very attentive. This trip was for my daughter to see New York for the first time; I love how we were pretty close to most of the must sees. When visiting again, I would love to stay at the Lexington again!

This is the first time I stayed at The Lexington. I was pleasantly surprised! We took the train in from CT., and took advantage of it's close proximity to the station. We arrived early so we checked our bags in and started our NY adventure but not before seeing the beautiful bar area and business section. Once we had access to our room we were surprised that it was so nice for the price that we paid. There was Marble everywhere, beautiful artwork, gorgeous view of the city and it was immaculate.... I stayed here for 2 nights for work as my other colleagues were staying there. The reviews I read here, were not that complementary and I would have to agree with all of them. I was very late checking in and it seemed like they had given my room away, so all the requests I had made in advance were not accommodated. Thinks like high floor and things I know they can't guarantee, but I have a feather allergy and requested that the room be feather free. I asked several times at the desk and they a... Read more

We had a great stay at the Lexington. From the moment we arrived everyone couldn't have done enough for us or be more helpful. The room was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay. It was a pleasure to meet Mr. Trovato during our stay and to have tailored accommodations orchestrated by Irina who was so wonderful to us.

Very nice hotel and very well located. Rooms are quite new and with pretty good size considering is New York city. Service at the front desk is really good, all of their staff are very kind and make a good effort in providing a good service. I will stay again indeed.

Great staff. Cool lobby. Comfortable (if small) room. Got a nice rate while we traveled in for the fireworks on the 4th. As Marriott Platinum, we also received free continental breakfast. There was a late night security problem that was attended to immediately by security. Would stay again.

A beautiful hotel in a central location near Grand Central. Our room was quite small, which is common in NYC. However, although there was a desk in the room, there was no coffee maker, as well as no complimentary coffee in the lobby. Some rooms may have coffee makers, but ours, the smallest, did not. There is a Starbucks onsite, but I am not into jet fuel. The bathroom was lovely. Hot shower with good water pressure. The bed was comfortable. The A/C worked great. The staff were pleasant. Mixed feelings about this 2 night stay. Location is good, but rooms are very small, and they tried charging us $ 50 extra per night for 2 beds, since we had our 13 year old with us, and they did not honor us the on line paid upgrade to a junior suite. Under $ 200 you wont get a lot better places though, close to so many NYC attractions at walking distance.

The Lexington is located at 48th St just a short walk from Grand Central Station. It is just 2 blocks to the closest subway and bus service. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming even when arriving very late. There is a bar located in the lobby with a relaxing atmosphere and convivial conversation. Ashley's Food is across the street that offers an inexpensive alternative for a fast and reasonable priced meals. Room rates were reasonable and a great value even on a holiday weekend. I w... We stayed here for a girls weekend. The staff was efficient, pleasant and very accommodating. The hotel itself is very modern with a lot of open space and clean. The common areas were very welcoming, almost like the hotel wants you to stay and relax instead of rushing to your room. There was a hot water issue when we stayed but that was not the hotels fault and they were very helpful with information about it. Loved our stay.

Brought my daughter to NYC for a pre-birthday trip. She's deep into Broadway and anything theatre. I chose the Lexington for location but the price made it better. Unlike the others who reviewed, I was able to check in upon arrival (about 1:30p) which unexpected and welcomed. Check in was easy and the staff was pleasant enough. Plenty elevators that moved quickly. We stayed on the 20th floor and had a decent view. I loved the decor of the room and the size was fine for my daughter and I. I expec... Read more

We arrived at The Lexingron on Saturday, July 23rd. Check in was a breeze and our rooms were ready. We had two double rooms, one for my husband and I and one for our two (almost grown-up) kids. I was disappointed that our room was not on a higher floor, but we were on the same floor as our kids. (My husband is an Elite so I was hoping for a higher floor for view and to avoid some of the street noise) I soon realized that the 5th floor is close to the workout room on floor 3 (my son is a college ... We came here for a friend's bachelor party. The rooms we had had enough space for us (3 in a room), but they are by no means spacious. We had a room just a few floors above 48th Street, but we weren't disturbed by any street noise. A nice feature about this hotel is that there was a Starbucks right downstairs.

Given the location, check-in experience and nice clean room, I was satisfied with my stay here. The room was modern and equipped with an in-room safe, but lacked a coffee maker which is standard nowadays in most US hotels. On the desk was a large tray with a stainless steel ice bucket and tongs but NO drinking glasses. In fact the only "glasses" in the room were two large paper cups in the bathroom! Really unusual to consume a mixed drink from a 12 ounce paper cup, especially in a Marriott ... Read more

Good location and good public transport to hand Mile walk to Restaurant Row. There are places to eat nearby and a decent breakfast place opposite. Pleasant room with nice bit of art work.Quite a bit of art around the hotel and some live jazz in reception. However, suprised that there was no coffee / tea making facility in the room.

The hotel is clean however the customer service is TERRIBLE! I book corporate rooms here a few times a month for the past 4 years and have decided to not use them anymore! There have been a few incidences where I needed to make changes directly with this hotel, each time I am put on hold for long periods of time and given the hardest time. I was on hold for TWO HOURS after trying to get the night time front desk supervisor on the line to make 5 room changes for the next morning. She said the rea... Read more

First of all rooms are pretty small...luckily I had not taken my family, if not that would have been hell. But I understand that is the case in New York Hotels. There was no coffee maker or microwave in the room. No drinking water provided. If you ask for some plates and cutlery to have lunch or dinner, they say they don't provide until we order from there own restaurant. There is no glasses in the room. They keep two paper cups which or lousy and starts leaking after few minutes. Rooms w... Read more

Booked a family room with two double beds and I got what I booked. Yes the rooms aren't big, but most people go to NYC for the views of the city not to sit in the hotel bedroom. It was clean and tidy, the maids did a great job and all staff were very courteous. We didn't eat in the hotel as had breakfast across the road at a 24/7 diner which was reasonably priced. If you are simply looking for a base to do your sightseeing then this is a good place to stay.

We stayed 3 nights in Lexington New York City, Autograph Collection Hotel from July 26th - 30th. The Hotel Ambience was very good, rooms were very clean. The location was convenient, 1 block away from the City Sight Seeing Hop on/off Tour Bus Stop which we used frequently. However, the biggest disappointment was the room size and the facilities in the room. We booked a Standard Room, 1 King Bed in this hotel using Expedia. I'm just back from a four night stay in this hotel with my husband. The hotel itself is modern with a bright airy lobby upon entry. The girl on reception when we check-in was very helpful and informed us that because of construction going on at the hotel we would be given complimentary Wi-Fi, it was just a pity that it really only worked properly in the lobby. On arrival I noticed that our bathroom floor was dirty and after two complaints, it was eventually cleaned on our last night. I did get t... Read more

The Lexington is a fine hotel. The rooms are a bit small, but that is due to the vintage of the building. The lobby is bustling, lots of work and lounge space, nice cocktail bar. There is a Starbucks and a good cafe / restaurant on the Lex side, accessible from the lobby directly. Wi-Fi works well. Beds comfy. Check in staff and housekeeping were very helpful. This hotel is located well for almost anything in midtown. and beyond.

I love Marriotts, even the "autograph collection" hotels. Overall this hotel is fine. It's in a good location, is clean, and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately it seems to be an older hotel and the air conditioning in our room couldn't handle the intense heat wave in the city during our stay. The room wasn't hot but was comfortably warm. Above all else a hotel should be comfortable, and because of the A/C it wasn't.

Stayed here for work/leisure trip as its conveniently located for the office and within walking distance to Grand Central. Complementary breakfast for elites - sometimes difficult getting a table so you might want to try earlier rather than later. They also had complementary drinks one night for elites as well which was nice. Rooms aren't the largest but ok for NYC. Would stay again though you do sometimes have to wait for the lifts.

Easy check in. Get to room and there is only one double bed. 2 adults and 1 child aged 11??. Don't think so. Had to go to reception twice to ask for a fold up bed. When it arrived it wouldn't fit into room. Ended up with just the mattress. Mentioned it at check out but they never said anything about it. Very poor customer service. Not worth £157 for the night. Will not be back nor recommend it to my friends.
