Excellent service by the Concierge & doormen. The room was immaculate, very spacious (Deluxe Queen Tower rm) with state of the art digital control panel near main door, for the master bath, bedroom, living room, & 1/2 bath, controls heat & lights in all areas. Ample closet & drawer space, beautiful master bathroom, & shower, with auto "smart temp control" for shower. I made an email request for a room with there best view of the city, to the Concierge, which they did exceedingly well. Top floor... Read more

This is a nice hotel which has potential to be a great hotel. We stayed here for four nights in May 2016. Prior to our arrival, we were helped (via email) by a nice lady called Erica Kostic who assisted us with our room. Upon arrival at the hotel, after a long flight from the UK and a one hour taxi ride, we were informed there was a mix up/problem with our room booking! However, this was quickly sorted out by the lady on the front desk and we were given the keys to a newly refurbished room on ... Read more

The Good -Great views -Plenty of TV Shows -Good Location -Updated Decor The Not So Good -Shower water was luke warm at best. Was never enough to even get a fog around the perimeter of the mirror. -The internet seemed to be out every morning. When you call they have no idea how long it would take and the front desk associate that answered seemed annoyed just by the fact I asked for an estimate. -It took 10 mins for someone to greet me at the front desk to check in. -When my room wasn't avai... Despite the hotel being under major renovations right now where the pool, gym, room service & restaurant were all closed, the hotel was really nice and well located in Midtown East We got complimentary upgraded to a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite which was very large and it also had gorgeous 180 degree views of the city and water. If you book to receive the privileges of using the lounge on the 30th floor, it is well worth it. They provided great continental breakfast in the mornings and really goo... Read more

I booked a reservation because a colleague recommended this hotel. Best recommendation ever. This hotel is convenient to UNICEF and lots of great restaurants are in walking distance. Fly into Laguardia airport for a quick drive to the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and I can't wait until the restaurant is renovated so I can check out the cuisine.

Visited NYC for the first time and was also here for work. The hotel was nice and the room was clean. The concierge was helpful, and directed me to great areas to visit. The restaurant was a little too pricey. The hotel is in a great location and an easy walk to Broadway and other areas. I would stay here again.

I don't usually stay on the East Side, but thought I would try this hotel. I loved it. Easily accessed by people who have business at the United Nations, the hotel's outside place was patrolled by security with a dog so I felt very safe. Lovely, modern rooms. Wonderful view of the East River and Roosevelt Island.

One UN is recently refurbished rooms mid town east Manhattan NYC. Steps from the UN in quiet and safe neighborhood. Security around UN is constant. Our room was brand new, we were first to stay in it. Walk to Grand Central, quick Cab to theater, Central Park, up town or down town. Only down side is that there is currently no restaurant or bar and the the hotel pool is no more. Well worth the convenience and comfort. Beds are fantastic. Views re great of city or river. I have stayed at this hotel many times. The main reason being that the hotel ‚??s proximity to the UN HQ. The rooms are well equipped, fairly large and comfortable, but the hotel is in need of a facelift, including improved room temperature adjustments and fixing of the noisy ventilation system. Most rooms have a very nice view of the city or bay. What is worth noting is the very low quality of the breakfast included in the ‚??club offer‚?? at the top floor, which had an extremely limited selec... Read more

Awesome views of the classic Chrysler Building, with Times Square and Empire State Building a bit further away, United Nations and Trump Tower and the Bay, depending upon where you room is located. Ask front desk staff for the view you want to get the room that is ideal. Friendly staff and good service. Some renovations were going on when I stayed so the gym was out of service , but I look forward to returning! A few blocks from Grand Central Station in the heart of Old New York (Manhattan).... Stayed 6 nights. Restaurant, gift shop, pool, gym and business center all closed. Had absolutely no idea when booking on the Millenium site, as a Millenium Club member, very disappointing!! I usually stay closer to shopping and restaurants on 5th Avenue since there isn't much in the UN area but thought I would $$$ and give One UN a try. High points were the fabulous views, very nice room, good internet, coffee shop in lobby (with extremely friendly staff) and across from the UN. Front desk s... Read more

Don't consider the east side an inferior location, best of all worlds quite outside but near everything and after al your going to walk a lot in newyork. The pool was closed for renewal but the hotel has been upgraded recently. I'm sure it's a real UN set here so a mixed atmosphere, if your lucky enough to get a good rate take it, this is very nice spot. Restaurant is a bit formal but lots of choice outside! Enjoy.

Great location near the UN and Grand Central Station and near shops and restaurants in midtown Manhattan. I'm from the area, but never thought to stay here, but a meeting at the UN, and a great price deal on TripAdvisor (under $300/night) provided the opportunity. So glad I did. What a gem! Boutique-type vibe. The room on the 32nd floor had amazing views of the Chrysler and Empire State Bldgs. I kept the shades open all night watching the beautiful light show. I need to get a life. I stayed in this hotel from 9/26/16 till 9/29/16. I loved every minute of my stay! The hotel is situated right across the UN headquarters. So it's frequented by what I presume many politicians from around the globe. My beautiful room on the 33rd floor had an awesome view of the East River and Roosevelt Island. Very clean with an ultra-modern bathroom and showers. I used to pay much more to stay at hotels not as nice as this one on the west side. Not anymore. I will start staying exclusively at ... The hotel itself was wonderful. My room was spacious and well-lit from facing the water and the bathroom was very large as well. I had trouble locating the gym. I'm not sure if they actually have one though they do advertise having it. It was not written in the guestbook provided with food and amenities information. The only reason I am rating it so poorly is that the charged me twice for my room. I've been calling them for the past 5 days to try to get it refunded and have yet to be successful... Read more

Recently stayed at the One UN New York. Ideal when visiting the UN (for obvious reasons) but also great if you are visiting NY and want to be away from the craziness of central Manhattan. The rooms were clean, good size, Ambassador Grill food was good. Paid extra to get access to the Skyline lounge....nothing special (not worth the $50), appetizers were very basic. Overall a great hotel to stay at and will consider it the next time I'm in NY.

This could be an amazing hotel, but services are not developed. Restaurant is quite limitated (few choices, not international couisine, scarce wine list), in room dinning only offers the same that the restaurant. Laundry service is a problem. There is no extra charge if the pick up is before 9am, but if you leave the room early in the morning for a workday, nobody does the pickup until fixing the room... in the afternoon ...therefore, always extra charge... We arrived on Thursday, October 6 at approximately 10:00 p.m., and checked out on Monday, October 10 at 9:30 a.m. We booked with your hotel because we were pleased with a previous stay. It was clean and comfortable, and we liked being on the edge of the city, out of the craziness. The staff had been courteous and helpful. This hotel might be "swanky" (as one reviewer wrote) but you could lose your life there and the staff would not care. During a recent stay, the hotel elevator we were riding on became stuck between two floors. We had stayed at this hotel years ago, booked it for a two night stay in late October as we needed to be on the East Side. It was exactly what we were looking for. Relatively quiet neighborhood (remember, this is New York City), extremely professional staff (the doormen were great), and a renovated room with an unbeatable view. Stayed here for one night on a business trip. I had a room on floor 38 and had a view of both the Hudson River and the Empire State Building.
