Stayed two nights with family after the New Year. Had heard great things about the hotel from a repeat guest and wasn't disappointed. Everything was great. The high ceilings and decor in the room made you feel like you were living in a NYC loft; the lobby was cozy, well appointed and inviting, and the staff were all friendly and gracious, even remembered my name when I came down in the morning for coffee. I will definitely return.

I wish I had obtained the names of all staff who made our stay so enjoyable, but with all sincerity I say EVERYONE who was on duty during our stay did an outstanding job of making us feel welcome and special. They truly were amazing and I cannot stop talking about them and your hotel. I have decided this will be my home-sweet-home when in NY! I loved the lobby's simple elegance, with its inviting, cozy, warm, and beautiful sitting areas, conference tables, bar, etc. We used it all and made ourse... Read more

Exactly the kind of hotel I like. Small hotel in a great area - Tribeca - where you have access to lots of subway lines so you can easily get anywhere you need to be in New York City. Lots of places to eat in the area too both for breakfast and dinner. I had a Superior Queen room and it looks exactly like the pictures on the hotel's webpage. Smallish room but this is very typical New York size in my opinion. It worked out very well for a solo traveler such as myself. Nicely decorated with a bo... Read more

Thank you to Michael and the team for having us! I highly recommend this hotel! The team was super friendly and helpful! I will stay here when I return to NYC! Awesome hotel! Great staff! Quiet and in a great little area down in TriBeCa! Close to the subway! No negatives at all!

Loved this hotel. Great location and atmosphere. Rooms were adorable and spacious. Affordable and had a great small bar area along with a wonderful bartender. She was lovely and everyone was so accommodating. I will definitely be back!

I stayed here on a trip to visit friends. It was a very convenient location in TriBeCa, near SoHo. Service was very professional as well. I would highly recommend this place to future visitors and wouldn't hesitate to go there again. Other tips: - The lounge was a pretty small, quiet area, so even though we were given two free drink passes at the bar, it was an awkward space to have friends visit. - I also partook in the breakfast package, which included food + drinks served at the bar in the m... Nice, relaxed and chic lobby but super small. Beyond small, uncomfortably tiny where, if you didn't talk to the other people in the lounge, you would have felt super awkward. The location was exactly what I needed but, being on the third floor, I could hear the subway all night. Rooms are tiny but clean and modern.

This hotel is small, cozy, & very chic. The rooms are designed in a very hip, modern way, with comfortable beds. I stayed two nights & had to switch rooms so I actually tried both the king superior and queen superior rooms. I preferred the queen room (406) because it was more spacious than the king (203). Both rooms looked out onto Church Street which is busy and not very photogenic. However the blackout curtains & drapes provided plenty of privacy & the rooms are very quiet. Bathrooms are nice ... Hey if you can get over all the strollers and scooters in this part of NYC, it's a cool area. I first found out about Duane Street Hotel from a JetSetter promo, so gave it a shot and was really impressed. It's a small hotel, and everyone makes you feel immediately welcome, we really appreciated their hospitality. They have a bar (important for us!) that makes great cocktails, and a restaurant we unfortunately didn't have a chance to try. The rooms are 'cozy' but well arranged and the king size b... Read more

Recently stayed here for a business trip and my stay was nothing short of amazing. The service at the hotel is top notch, specifically Matthew B at the front desk. He was always extremely helpful with anything I may have needed. Will definitely come back.
