Staff very helpful and friendly, rooms very good and clean. good location. Breakfast very good at Buffet, would recommend to them to have on hand Almond milk. Will return. Do not book with Expedia, u do not get your Hilton Honor points, book directly with Hotel or Hilton Honors.

I stayed with my wife for 4 nights in April. Nice friendly people, free parking . The rooms look like they where redone probably in the past couple of years (I think)don't know for a fact. But once again like many hotels that do renovations. They don't do the bathroom over. Why ??? because that is the most expensive part of a renovation. If you want to enjoy the benefits of Hilton, you have to book an Executive room. With the exception of room, everything else was good. I didn't feel that I was staying in an executive room that made me feel the price I paid was not worth. Other than this one issue all the rest like staff service, cleanliness and accessibility was great. Breakfast was a tasty one. And its Hilton, you will feel it once you step in.

My niece was married last weekend and the wedding party got a block of rooms at the Hilton in the Melville, NY area. First there are no opportunities to check in early. Second, plan on between 45 minutes and 1 hour to check in as their front desk staff is incompetent. If you are used to have executive/concierge lounge access, it is not open on the weekend and they DO NOT give you breakfast or drink vouchers even if you are a Hilton Honors member. Not too accommodating... after a 2 hour drive to get there, we asked to get access to the lounge just to unwind and they wouldn't accommodate. both of us are HHonors memmbers we were extremely dissatisfied that they wouldn't help us out. Now we will both be going back to Marriott hotels...

Is located in the middle of what it looks like an industrial area. a little outdated but is still better than most. Big lobby, they have a fully stoked bar, and service has been perfect so far. The executive lounge was on point this morning. Good luck !

Our three night stay was connected to a sports tournament, with our son playing baseball up the road in Yaphank. When we arrived to room 345 we noticed that the door didn't close properly - it was quite difficult to close. counters in room were sticky with "glass rings" still visible ~ there was blood on the lower wall and some blood marks visible in the carpet ~ the bathroom had mold starting to grow in the corners of the tub ~ halls were noisy at night and you could not adjust the temperature in the room ~ thankfully i was there for only one night ending a great trip on Long Island In another hotel that was wonderful ~ this hotel was just close to the airport

First night, doors slamming in hallway all night. Next day was hot so tried to put ac on. Front plate from thermostat fell onto the floor. I fixed that and set it to high cool and it never got the room below 75 even though it was running for hours. That night we had people banging on our room looking for someone else. The pictures looked great. The hotel did look like the pictures except the hotel was a bit run-down. There were water stains on the ceiling, some peeling wallpaper, and a poor air conditioning system. It was a room, basically, in need of a good cleaning and some minor repairs. This is an average hotel and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We stayed here for a wedding that was at the hotel. The wedding was beautifully done. The rooms were average , walking around the hotel, you can tell it was an older hotel and some areas seemed dirty. That would be the only negative point. overall a decent hotel.

This hotel is very clean and updated, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and I have always been treated with professional courtesy and kindness. Anytime I have ever needed anything, someone has always been able to help. They offer many amenities such as a full service bar, restaurant, exercise room, complimentary internet, and great food. excellent and highly professional staff. Clean rooms. Close to the train station, the interstate, restaurants, and Costco. Good food at the bar. Plenty of parking spaces. Not far from Robert Moses State Park (the beach). That said, the executive lounge has limited open-for-guests hours. Its a long car ride to NYC from the hotel so use the train at the Farmingdale station. Is it worth the costs? Yes

The staff is extremely ready to assist to make your stay a great experience... personable, skilled and knowledgeable in all areas of their craft. The lobby and rooms in excellent condition, the bar is well-appointed and the restaurant at the bar has good food. The hotel is strategically located near shopping, the train station and the interstate. Understand the executive lounge hours are limited though. If you have the cash, go for the suites; they are large and quiet.

Staff did not go out of their way to fix the multiple problems during my stay. Expensive for the poor quatilty and disgusting showers. Breakfast service was either way overstaffed, and asked about coffee by everyone who worked there, or there was no one around to cook omletts or replenish the food.

We stayed here for two nights during a tournament. The room was very nice, well appointed for working, and had very comfortable beds. Except for the small unruly children stomping above us, our stay was great! The front desk staff were very friendly, and check in and check out went quickly and smoothly. It's in a very convenient location and there are excellent restaurant choices nearby.

I stay at the Hilton Huntington regularly for work and this is the first time I actually write a review. The hotel is definitely not at the Hilton standards. The staff which is always changing have no idea what they are doing. You check in and no details are confirmed (room type, number of nights). This is an average hilton inn. The building is rather nice and the lobby is useful and inviting. I guess I am old fashioned: I expect hotels to lead with hospitality. This hilton staff just seems to be too busy to focus on hospitality. Either it needs more staff, or it needs more training of staff. Poorly managed hotel filthy,noisy and rundown. Air conditioner was busted and made high pitched buzzing noise throughout the night which couldn't drown out the sound of people yelling and screaming throughout the night. Outdoor pool was incredibly filthy with oil slick floating on surface. Management did nothing.

Good location for those who need a place to stay mid-island. Located just off of exit 49 of the Long Island Expressway. Surrounded by many restaurants. Unfortunately the wonderful front desk crew couldn't make up for the deteriorating shower ceiling falling into the tub, the extremely slow draining water in the room and, worst of all, the dirtiest outdoor pool I have ever seen. The water was full of debris and hazy water and green algae surrounding the pool. Disgusting!

Room had a cracked marble counter . The crack ran from the wall to the counter edge. Looked like a heavy individual had sat on it. Unsafe and should have been replaced before renting to another guest. Mold in tile grout and under rim in toilet. Paint cracked on ceiling in bathroom. This hotel needs help.

My family stayed here for one night, mainly to use the pool and to do some area museums. My 5 year old daughter wound up with this sticky residue on her face the first time we went in the pool and the second time it was all over her bathing suit to which it didn't come off with soap and water. I stayed here on a visit to Long Island and found this hotel to be very popular. The bar had a lot of people each night but the bar staff managed the crowd well. Rooms are nice and executive lounge wonderful-Breakfast was amazing. So nice not to have the basic, dry cereal and fruit. My really only disappointment was in the noise level. I heard every door slam on my floor. Would be nice if silencers were placed so that doors cannot be slammed.

Stayed here just one night for work. I am a Hilton rewards member so opted to come here. Hotel was very nice, didn't try the pool but it had a grotto that looked sweet. Easy check in with the app, and had a virtual room key (very cool). Front desk staff were friendly and fast. I would definitely staff here again. Oh, didn't get my usual complimentary water, guess they forgot.

The staff is some of the nicest most accommodating we have ever come across. Everyone, from the buffet breakfast and restaurant staff, to the snack bar woman, to the managers was outstanding. The walls are somewhat thin and you can hear through them a bit if your neighbors are loud. That was the only downside. The buffet breakfast is very good and their coffee in the cafe is wonderful.

I wanted to visit my childhood stomping ground so I booked this hotel through Hilton with less than two days notice. Impressed with staff at this hotel - I had a problem with my room (very rare this happens in any Hilton property) and the staff cured this immediately. The Hotel is close to restaurants and offers a free shuttle service - however suggest you book in advance. From the minute we got to the hotel it was unpleasant. There was no one outside to valet our car or help us with our bags. We asked for turn down service, we needed the sofa to be pulled out and made for our kids to sleep in when we arrived back from a wedding we were attending. They don't care about the customer one bit! Would not let me check in early. Promised to call it a room was available, they never called. Showed up an hour before check in began and I easily got a room. Although I did have to wait 5 minutes for the three men behind the front desk to wrap up their conversation before one of them checked me in.

Been staying here on and off for business the last few months. There are plenty of accommodations, as with many other hotels, but what really stands out at THIS particular Hilton is the staff. From check in services and concierge, guests are treated first rate. If I need anything at all, Miguel Cruz is right there, and he gets things done !! Kathy in executive services has been fantastic as well. I can't say enough, and will highly recommend this location to everyone.

Wedding reserved block of rooms at discounted price. It was clean and the lobby was most accommodating. Bar menu available. Drinks reasonable. Ample parking and signage accurate. Quick checkout but would have preferred Bill under the door so we wouldn't have to stop at the desk.

Electronic key system does not work. Rooms musty and smells old. The call for help when e-key does not work goes to a help desk that is far off somewhere and you have to struggle back to the front desk to get a key.

The staff made us feel like family. Wonderful registration staff as well as bar staff and resturant staff. Would like to complement Ms. Wasserman,Zoraylla, and Giovannie Merisier for a job well done. We will definitely stay at this property in the future.

I stayed here last weekend for a friends wedding. The main lobby area was nice and clean. Every staff member I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. The bartenders at the lobby bar were great and my friends and I had fun chatting with them. I ordered an appetizer of hummus and pita which was all freshly made and delicious! The overall stay was excellent but they closed the restaurant for a new one that hasn't opened yet. Dinner in the lounge isn't the same quality. New owners trying to make improvements. Hopefully they'll fix and change things a bit. The staff is Phenominal .

My wife and I stayed here for a family wedding. The room was ready early which we appreciated. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The problem was the A/C. As we were heading out to the wedding I let the front desk know that there was a loud buzzing sound coming from the A/C system. They said they would take care of it. My husband and I had stayed at this hotel in their king suite for the weekend of our wedding and it was more than spacious and accommodating enough. The night before the wedding we had a few of our bridal party members stay with us and we were able to hang out very comfortably and sleep as well.

I stayed at the Hilton Long Island Huntington mid-September for two nights. Originally I was assigned a room on the first floor and asked if there were any available rooms on a higher floor. We stayed here on the same night as a large wedding event. We were placed on the second floor, which directly overlooks the banquet hallway. No sleep until the event was over at around midnight, and then awoken again around 5am to elevator music and staff setting up for some other event in the area. They couldn't move us because the hotel was booked, but couldn't explain why they couldn't book event guests in the noisy rooms. Don't come here to sleep. Cherry on top: Random hair in the shower.

Some hotel amenities were broken for several days, indoor pool was cold. Bar area was open to dining room and front entrance. Smelled bad fish while having a glass of wine. Breakfast buffet for the group was good and the staff was accommodating.

We stayed at this Hilton the same night as a very large wedding. We were given a room on the second floor -- our window overlooked the banquet area. We could hear everything -- music thumping, people talking, dishes clanking. The wedding ended at midnight but of course people didn't really leave until nearly 1AM. I'm glad I picked this hotel to stay at while playing Bethpage Black for two day. Stayed on a Thursday and Friday night and hotel was busy. We did have a noise issue with an outside company doing courtyard work at 7am but Melissa (think that was supervisors name) and Jordan made it right. Free shuttle was a great bonus for us to get to course and back and also for nightly adventures. Very safe Area and all people seemed friendly.

If you want to go to a hotel that loses your reservation for a while when you arrive, has a musty smell in the hallway, doesn't have heat when it is 47 degrees outside and has showers that don't drain this is your place!!

Although I have stayed at this Hilton many times before due to the outstanding service and location, I will not be staying again anytime soon due to the lack of cleanliness of the room (bacon and dental floss on the floor with a bathtub filled with water) and lack of working heating system. This Hilton needs an overhaul. I look forward to them getting back on track.

Both the bride and groom's family and friends stayed for our son's wedding. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations! The bar/lounge area was spectacular! We were all able to gather very comfortably and visit all weekend.

Immaculate and great service! It was only 3 miles from the Farmingdale station/ Long Island Railroad. There wasn't much around the hotel, but the food was so good, you really didn't need to leave. The staff was warm and friendly. It was a great place to attend a conference.

Hotel room, particularly on the Executive Floor, was spacious, clean, and well appointed. However, we could hear talking and water running in adjacent rooms. It wasn't horribly loud, but we were obviously aware of it. Also, the buffet breakfast needs a lot of improvement. The foods in the chafing dishes were not hot and the pastry I had was stale.

Beautiful hotel with lovely bar area as you enter the lobby. Beds are comfortable, pet friendly, and conveniently located on route 110. They also have both indoor and outdoor pools as well as a gym. Staff is always willing to help.

Pros: 10 minutes from the McArthur's Airport, major highways, and shopping areas. Not to mention a decent Gym and a nice heated pool to enjoy in the winter. Hotel needs a MAJOR makeover in design, execution and staff. No one cares. Place is filthy. Food is sub-par. First room smelled like a locker room. Second room had white sticky substance all over the picture in bathroom. Entrance is filthy. Would be better off the Marriott up the streetâ?¦..or any Hampton Inn would be better.

Stayed there with a family over the thanksgiving weekend. Room quality is sub par with bad air quality. Thermostat didn't work and there was no AC in the room as the temperature hovered around 80 degrees. Requested the front desk to take a look but problem wasn't resolved. It was too hot in the room and we weren't able to sleep. Wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you have to stay there due to its location.

Dissatisfied with overall bathroom maintenance and upkeep. Drainage in the tub was sub par water did not go down as normal. Had to wait a long time between persons showering in order to wait for the water level to subside. Notified desk. Very responsive. Staff wanted to send an engineer to rectify problem, but we had time constraints and needed to exit the room. Could not wait for engineer to arrive. Very nice hotel on Long Island close to many businesses and great for weddings. Easy check in with my Hilton Honors App! No need to go to the front desk for a key! Hotel is clean and very modern with a nice lobby with a piano and a bar. Loved the pool and jacuzzi! My only complaints were our room temperature gauge was broken. Also, the hotel parking lot is not well lit. Definitely need to add more lighting to the lot and to the front of the building for safety.
