Skip this hotel! Don't stay here! We were here for five nights. Every time we needed to get in our room we needed new keys. The room was very small with too many furniture so it looked like a storage. If you want to have breakfast after 8:30 probably you will stay hungry. You need to wait for table more than 15 minutes. The guys on reception don't care for anything to help you. I'll say one more time skip this hotel and save your money!

We've stayed from April 28th to May 1st, it was our first time at this property. I usually don't expect much, regardless of how good the photos are, and I was pleasantly surprised. The room I've booked thru was a King bed non-smoking suite, and the room was spacious, big enough for a few suitcases near the tv set. A good size Closet, if you wanted to hang some of your clothes. The quality of the cleaning was acceptable. I've worked in the hotel industry, so I was trained to be picky,... Read more

This hotel has the typical comfortable La Quinta beds and clean rooms. The breakfast bar however is lacking a few items. No waffles or yogurt. They do have some doughnuts though... Overall, a good value for NYC. The 7 train being a few stops to Manhattan.

This is a very clean and comforatable hotel. It is very convenient with a very nice subway terminal across the street. Would highly reccomment it. It is only a few minutes from Grand Central Station, Central Park and Times Square.

Loved the location, room was spotless during our three night stay. There was free parking in the small lot behind the hotel, but it was first come first serve. Municipal parking directly across the hotel was a bonus when the lot was full. Two blocks from the subway, 5 minutes to the BQE. We will definarely stay here again!

Check in was easy. The young man at the front desk was very helpful. We chose this hotel because of free parking. Just know that there is a small lot in the back of the building. By no means can it accommodate all the guests, so it is a matter of luck if you can get a spot. The room was okay--not great. The breakfast was definitely nicer than other La Quintas we have stayed at. I would stay here again. We walked around the area to go out to dinner and had a great time. There were lots o... Read more

If you are looking for a safe, clean place to stay near Laguardia after international travel and a cancelled flight around midnight, this hotel pretty much fills the ticket. The price was ok. The room ac worked and blocked out outside noise. Breakfast wasn't bad. You could do a lot worse.

The room was clean and comfy but the breakfast was absolutely unsanitary. I got there at night and the milk was left outside. There was not a lot of sanitation precautions at the breakfast 'buffet'. There are no roll up beds even though some web sites say they do. the hotel was close to two train stations :)

This property is located just a 5 minute walk to the 7 line subway and then it's only 15 minutes to Manhattan. The price is right especially when you add the complimentary parking (although the spaces are limited and you need to be there by mid day to get a spot). Breakfast is fine although there were no waffles or yogurt. There is seating for approximately 36 but the turnover is fairly quick. Rooms are not large but are clean and comfortable. The wifi worked well and there were no issues. ... Read more

This hotel is close to the subway/MTA station which has quick and easy access to downtown NYC. There are nice restaurants and eating places close by, plus grocery and discount stores and health stores. Wifi in our room was sketchy. The area seems to be very safe. On weekends, parking is available across the street. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly.

Great hotel. If you are looking for a cheap place in a food location these hotel fulfill all your demands. It is just 2 minutes away from a subway station. Taking the line 7 you get to the Time's Square in less than 30 minutes. Breakfast is ok, but could be better.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. For a La Quinta, they charge steep ~ 150$ per night. That price includes rats in the corridor and in your room. If you spot a rat on the last day of a 3 day stay, they will discount the rate of the room for 1 day (because, you know, you spotted it one day only). I agree breakfast is gross. The only fresh thing on their menu, bananas, which are like 10-20 cents a lb, are over by 7 am - which basically means they never stock anything fresh. An... Read more

The price was very reasonable for the city and it was only 20-40 min to get anywhere in Manhattan. We would definitely stay here again if traveling to the city. The room was good. Rooms are always a bit smaller in the city, but it had comfortable beds, a desk, fridge, and wardrobe. The breakfast was pretty basic but fine. The only minor negative was that the bathroom fan was weak and could not really handle the moisture from the shower. I was there when the manager had to handle a recently arriv... Read more

Then came back with her husband and took 4 more donuts and about 4 rolls, 2 bowls of cereal and 2 cups of coffee and sat there and ate. Very greedy, she didn't even think about the other guesse... I was disappointed with the poor service received. We parked and was told we could not parked there and was told we could do metered parking until 7 pm. We payed about $180 for a room in the basement. It was dirty and extremely outdated for that price. The website said 30 premium channels, got about 21 crap and 3 weren't actual channels. No paper view options. No room service as listed. Wasn't offered free parking at all. Our shower drain stopped working in the early morning. Called the desk at 6AM and they were sending someone, we checked out at 11 and no one had come. Almost $200 and I didn't get to shower? At the same time our toilet clogged,... Read more

On the motel door they show a TripAdvisor "approved". You should visit this place and reevaluate it. Very run down conditions. I would not recommend it to anybody. Bed was terrible. Bathroom tub was filthy. Air conditioner was terrible. Free breakfast and breakfast room was disappointing.

This hotel is not bad for the price and location. The staff were also friendly. Our double bed room was nice with a good view of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. However, cleanliness is where they fell short. The back corner of room near the window with the tall lamp was full of dust like it is always ignored during routine cleaning. The sheets were also stained. There is free WiFi which works better at some times than others. Outside it was also quite noisy from construction... Read more

First off, I'm at a loss, re. the negative reviews. The three of us (myself, my wife and our 17 yr old son), had a great stay there! The room was clean. The beds were comfy. Breakfast included many 'hot' items....We REALIY enjoyed it. Also the fact that it was only 2 blocks away from the subway stn was great. Also, it's across from Mc D's, if u like fast food as well (handy with a picky teen). Also, it was nice to have free parking as well. Granted they only have 15-20 spots, meaning you ma... Read more

The hotel is very close to the subway, making it a good choice for visiting the city. The room was clean, although quite small. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed. I think the line of people camped around the hotel for a job opportunity caused some unusual chaos. We asked to park a little before our room was ready and they said it was fine, but didn't give us the parking sign. We went back in to get it and the room was ready. To get our cart up to the elevator, we had to use a small elevato... Read more

We were told upon check in that the parking lot was full and that we had to park on the street and get up a 7am to feed the parking meter. This was a vacation. No apology and no warning about parking situation when booking the room. Motel is very old & needs lot of upgrades. Rooms are not maintained well and are seldomly clean. By all means avoid room 502 it's super dirty & super small. Front desk Staff on the other hand is very helpful and accommodating of your requests. If you are planning to stay in this motel make sure you ask front desk staff to tell housekeeping to clean it very well.

The first surprise came while checking-in. I booked the hotel for the group of my friends and the receptionist found it difficult to check us in as a group, so I had to pay each room separately, which I find a bit unusual (I hadn't exprerienced it in any other hotel). We were visiting family on the Upper East Side for Thanksgiving and wanted a place that was (relatively) inexpensive, gave us easy access to Manhattan, and allowed us to stash our car. Bingo!
