The location was good, close to public transportation. The hotel had a odor, the hotel did not smell fresh. The cable in the room did not work.

A disaster from the start. They forgot to give me my license back on check in, so that was wasted time (it was still in the Xerox when I asked for it). The room overlooked the main street, and was NOISY! The floor tiles on the evaporated were gone, but there was a random used towel instead on the floor. The spray they use to cover odors was overwhelming. Toilet was basically broken. Skip this one at all costs!

I stay often and have seen more improvements in furniture, carpeting and allspice. It looks very nice, but more work is being done. Unfortunately, guest need to be held to a hire standard. Recently, I experienced strong language used by guest. Also, I have smelled Marijuana during several stays on my floor. Staircase doors are open or loudly slammed and laundry and carts should not be placed on the floors.

I was disappointed with the room, due to the oder of cigarette smell, their was not a remote control for the TV, we had to call down stairs for it, and the towels were to thin. The breakfast was ok, but had no breakfast meat.

Small room, decently furbished, reasonably clean, faint sweat odor. Spacious bathroom. Acceptable breakfast. Pot smell at ground floor in the evening. Located near subway, with few stations to downtown. Free paring in front. Unreasonable rate asked for keeping our luggage for few hours.

So this hotel, belonging to the wyndham hotel chain does not provide luggage storage for ur bags once you check-out you basically have no space to leave your bags. I have traveled to many countries and hotels in my life, but never ever someone told me, that the hotel does not have place to leave them. Dissapointed. In addition, cleanliness is fatal...

The good: Price was very reasonable compared to hotels in Manhatten. Bed was fairly comfortable and AC kept the room cool. Access to subway was pretty close to the hotel. The bad: Everything else. Room was very small and we kept getting in each other's way. Water pressure in shower was awful. Street noise woke me up early each morning. Door slamming woke me up every night. Breakfast area wasn't clean and very small and crowded. Watched cleaner texting on her phone while milk had been spille... Read more

We lived in this hotel for 3 nights. The location is superb - there are 2 metro stations nearby, so good for people who want to park their cars (if you are lucky you will get a spot, and then take a subway to NYC to roam around. However, the hotel is very small , rooms are small, elevator has lot of issues - we were stuck in elevator for 15 minutes. Some of the rooms has serious lock issues - the door gets stuck , doesnt open many times and so on. No much people available at the service desk to... Read more

The property is small, but afforded all the necessities for a weekend in the city. Close to the 7 train, but didn't hear the train going by at night. Friendly staff, clean room, clean facility overall. I would stay here again.

The room and hotel service are great. However, one of the stuff booked a taxi to the airport for us which did not arrive on time and raised the price. Kind of disappointed.

The hotel is in good location one train to Manhattan the main city. price is good. The staff is really helpful and self service makes it feels much more comfortable to use, just like living in an apartment. The only short coming is not many shops around so most of the food Dnt get deliveed to hotel which I found a bit annoying, like Pizza Hut it any other restaurant. I would recommend it for anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot on hotel. But still will get everything just like any other good h... Read more

It's a nice place. I needed a place to stay and it was comfortable, clean and relatively quiet...at least inside the hotel. Typical NY sounds on the outside were unavoidable. And parking is a little tight.

To start off, the whole look of the hotel is outdated and needs some renovating, the rooms are not the best looking and the view was even worse! Not to mention the breakfast and lack of seating area. This put together with their slow service just resulted in a below satisfactory stay. There are plenty of hotels in New York, dont chose this one!!

My room was on the first floor about 10 meters from the dining area. I was woken by loud voices and slamming doors at 4.40am. There was continuous noise until I finally had enough around 6.30am and went outside. I was greeted by the sight of Sam (Night MGR??) scraping 3 chairs along the tile floor while talking loudly to a cleaning lady. I asked him what he was doing making so much noise for such a long time. Instead of saying sorry and promising to keep the noise down, he insisted that gue... Read more

I am a regular NYC visitor and have stayed at a number of hotels in this price range in different boroughs of the city. Based on that, this is a decent well located hotel in a safe area, with access to public transportation and limited free parking. We stayed in a '2 Double Beds' room for two nights. The room size was typical for this price range in NYC. After having read reviews about subway train noise, I asked the front desk to put us in a quieter room but was informed that all '2 Double B...
