Spent a quick night before continuing my flight from Europe to S.America at the Sheraton JFK. Pick up from Federal Circle was quick and efficient, check in was done by a very charming lady that directed me to my club level room. Club amenities included soft drinks and some cheap wine which I did not try. Next morning breakfast was basic but included scrambled eggs and sausages...tasted old but well it was included in the room rate and it was not the main breakfast from the lobby level restaurant... While the entrance is not that impressive, this Sheraton JFK hotel is quite nice, especially given most JFK hotels are rather disappointing. The shuttle is a weak part. The hotel shares its shuttle with Hilton Garden Inn next door, and it runs on demand for arrival, but only twice per hour - on the hour and half hour. For mainline Sheraton, I expect eery 20 minutes especially during the peak hours. Anyway, the drivers are pretty decent, especially compared to Hilton and Hampton Inn at JFK. ... Read more

I stayed at the Sheraton for just one night and it didn't disappoint. Very conveniently located to the airport with a shuttle that runs every half hour or so to and from the hotel. Room was very clean and spacious with good amenities. As I'm a Sheraton member I was upgraded to use the Sheraton club, but it was a shame that I didn't get to use it as I was only really at the hotel for a few hours. All in all a pleasant stay and if I ever need a hotel for an overnight trip, I'll be sure to boo... Read more

We stayed here for one night prior to an early morning flight. The room was very clean and spacious. Dinner and drinks in the restaurant were reasonably priced and were good. Parking was directly across a one way street and the lot has a gate to get in and out. The shuttle runs every half hour. Once on the shuttle we were at our terminal in less than 5 minutes. We stayed here the night before we had a long international flight and we were pleasantly surprised. This is an older Sheraton and the area isn't the greatest, but once inside, you find nice rooms and a wonderful staff. Soriah checked us in and couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Jose helped with my bags and getting me set up Ina my room. Most helpful. Setton served n the restaurant with great food and a smile. I really recommend this to travelers.

My daughter and I stayed at this Sheraton overnight . Only 2 redeeming factors about this hotel: the helpful staff, and the comfortable bed. Our room smelled bad (they came and sprayed an air deodorizer but that did not help much). This hotel is just dreary and dark. I thought Sheraton's name equalled quality, but it was not the case. I hope this hotel is not rated as a 4 star hotel! Sorry I could not write a better review, but the truth is my daughter and I could not wait to leave!

Stayed overnight prior to an morning flight to London. This is a basic Sheraton property located just off the entrance to JFK. Rooms are basic but fine. Stayed on the executive floor. There's really not a true executive lounge. The hotel carved out the space just off the elevators to put out a small but adequate spread in the morning. Arrived too late for evening reception so cannot comment on the spread. If the hotel was booked this space would not accommodate all guests comfortably. No... Read more

We decided to pay a bit more to be sure of a comfortable room and are glad we did. Guests must sign an agreement that stipulates they cannot leave their pets unattended. There is no area other than a tiny spot along the parking lot curb with a few shrubs and mulch to let pets do their business. The other downside was the parking lot. It's very small and guests are charged $21 a night for parking. Would ... Read more

My family and I just returned from a stay at the Sheraton JFK. I can't say enough great things about this place. When I arrived, was greeted by staff very nicely. Check in was very quick and efficient. A special Thank you to Christian Lopez who was so amazing very helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Our experience was excellent from check in to check out..! Our room was clean and well maintained. Housekeeping throughout our stay was fantastic. Overall we really enjoyed our trip and our s... I travel weekly for both business and pleasure so at times staying at hotels is like a home away from home. I cannot express how thankful I am after a long flight that at the JFK Sheraton I was welcomed with such professionalism, genuine care and just all around excellent customer service. Because of the excellent customer service that I have gotten tonight from Vienna Nunez, the JFK Sheraton will be where I will always stay when I am in NYC. Thank you so much Vienna, and I look forward to many ... Read more

I love staying at this hotel when I have an early flight or land late at JFK. The Front Desk Supervisor, Vianna Nunez, is the best! She always greets me with a smile and remembers me every time. Thank you, Vianna!

Hridey, the attendant on the seventh floor lux-club level exemplifies everything the hospitality industry holds dear in terms of being personable, available, knowledgeable and most of all, kind. From start to finish, Hridey convinced me that I was staying at the right place. I am a Starwood Preferred Guest and branded Amex cardholder and have stayed in Maui at Kaanapali and Hridey here at the JFK Sheraton blew everyone in the islands out of the water. When I booked my reservation, I elected ... Read more

It was a great experience, for me, to stay at an airport hotel, which I didn't expect. After a long flight, I found my room clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was kind and accommodating. Thanks to Christian, who provided me an extra care each time I came to the front desk. He was really helpful and friendly. Would probably stay here again, if I come back to JFK.

This is a tired, old, functional property in the SPG portfolio. But then Vianna NUĂ?EZ is as good as any associate I have met in much flashier hotels. She found me a room when there was none - availability was minus one rooms, helped me get the gym up and running and sorted all of this out while smiling and having a friendly, warm, welcoming chat with this weary traveler... at midnight on a rainy Thursday. Thank you.

Had a really bad overnight stay at this hotel. The check in staff were unfriendly and even though I am spg gold rewards card holder I had to wait twenty minutes for them to finish their own conversation before I was checked in. I had asked for a room away from the lifts and on a high floor when I made the booking and guess what they gave me a room right opposite the lifts so that I could hear ever bang, roll of the suitcases and child scream all night. The room decor is something out of the 19... Read more

Vianna Nunez provided very exceptional customer service. I was greeted and treated as family. This made a regular stay in New York one of the best experience I have had in this busy city. Everyone was very pleasant and attentive to any needs.

The airline put us up for the night when our flight was switched. The front desk staff was pleasant and got us checked in in about ten minutes. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, especially since we'd been on the road for over twenty-four hours. The facility is dated and in need of refurbishment, but we had had a decent overnight stay. The hotel got us to the airport via the hotel shuttle which runs every thirty minutes. Convenient location if quick turn-around is required.

Stayed here on a stopover to the UK. Never got to write a review at the time. I liked that the hotel was close to the airport and that my stay was pretty comfortable. The staff were great and I was able to get a good night's rest before I continued on my trip. Thanks.

Pros are that this Sheraton is relatively close to JFK airport, although still a 10+ minute ride just given the road layout. Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and spacious rooms (and bed). There's some road noise from the rooms facing the highway, but mostly just white noise. Literally just spent about 4 hours at the hotel for a quick overnight so did not partake in the various amenties, but seemed to be people hanging out in the dining area, etc. If you are taking the shut... I had an overnight layover and stayed at the Sheraton needless to stay my experience was excellent. The hotel is about 5 minutes from the airport, they have a free "return shuttle," which makes getting back to the airport convenient. The rooms are very comfortable, the beds and pillows are excellent and the AC works great. If you read some of my other reviews you can see I'm quite critical, for a transit hotel the Sheraton exceeded my expectations. The rooms were all upgraded and modern. The ho... Read more

This Sheraton, in a departure from their brand, is old and tired. It is also can clearly hear every word spoken in the hall (at 3 am) and can hear muffled conversations in nearby rooms, along with running water. We were super disappointed. We'd "bought up" on the room to a concierge room. Even though I am a platinum member, we were put into a very standard room on the 6th floor and the concierge floor is on 7. We did get some waters that we figured cost us $20 each since we'd paid an... Read more

Small hotel but convenient to airport. Very clean with a neat little restaurant/bar. Friendly staff. Shuttle service available to JFK. Parking overnight, but not long term. We used JFK airport long term parking just a 1/4 mile down the road. Not to be confused with the airport parking.

We didn't use any of the amenities, pretty much just stayed overnight. While I don't have a lot to offer in the way of advice on this hotel, the exceptionally friendly service at the front desk bears noting. We approached the desk several times on two different shifts needing advice not readily answered at the info kiosk in the lobby. The very helpful people at the desk seemed sincerely friendly in suggesting transportation alternatives and dining options (breakfast was over by the time we were ... Read more

We stayed at the Sheraton for one night before a flight out of JFK. We had a clean, quiet and comfortable room. We have stayed at other airport hotels near JFK and I did not find it unduly noisy. Check in and out was quick and easy as was the transfer to JFK.

This hotel is well located near the airport (dah...the name). While that seems obvious, shuttle rides to/from the airport have not always been as quick as I expected from other '"airport" hotels. Not an issue here. The shuttle runs every 30 mins and only takes about 8 mins door to door. So great Early AM Departure Hotel for JFK. The hotel does have some jet noise being located so close to the airport, but it wasn't bad and the internal room noise was fairly minimal. We stayed in Room 717, wh... Read more

Stayed one night when Delta messed up our return flights. Hotel is not Sheraton usual standard- very run down no amenities. We had not had food for 8 hours due to Delta flights being late but we were told they had no facilities to supply any food at "that time of night". This is an airport hotel right? People do come & go during evenings? They also tried to charge us for breakfast that had already been paid. I would not stay here - try the Hilton next door.

Stayed at the property recently in transit. Its conveniently located in proximity to JFK airport. The airport has well organized pick-up/ drop shuttles from the terminals as well as the Federal Circle station. If you plan your movement around the shuttle timings, its very efficient. Room was nice and comfortable. Service was pleasant. Breakfast and evening hours at the lounge was sufficient and friendly Would chose it for sure if i have to make a transit stop at JFK

The hotel is very near JFK with great shuttle service to and from. We stayed only one night for transit and it was very comfortable. Nancy, the manager, is very nice, caring, and helpful. The restaurant has great food and room service is also provided. Rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed here because my flight was delayed for 24 hours. Delta provided a room for all the passengers who missed flights. I had a king size bed which was super comfortable. The shower was amazing.
