Tired facility. Tired entrance. But priced more than Hilton at LAX which is elegant. This is a bare bones hotel you'd expect to find at an airport but not in New York. Nice staff. Friendly. Helpful. Attentive.

I stayed here out of necessity as I had missed a flight to London. They offered the best price on the night. I booked at 11pm and arrived at 12 midnight. The courtesy bus was running and got me there both times. The rooms were standard traveller hotel rooms nothing fancy. Clean enough.

Stayed at Sheraton two nights and checked in here one night. The front desk was very friendly to advise us not to drive to Manhattan. She told us to get a free parking in the residential area and toon A line Subway to Penn Station instead. We went to take Big Bus tour, enjoy Times Square and finally comeback hotel. It was a great stay in NY.

Very very good budget airport hotel . Very modern and open especially the breakfast place is so bright and nice .. Free shuttle service to the airport and also to the mall . Just remember to ask how to operate the shower at check inn itself !! Staff is nice Will definitely recommend this to all kinds of travellers

Every staff I encountered was very pleasant and professional. My room was appointed with microwave as well as a Keurig. The room was clean and worked well for my short visit; will definitely stay at this property again when in Queens.

Arrived here from airport at 2:45. Checkin starts at 3 with checkout at noon. They tell us the rooms ate not ready yet. 10 people waiting in lobby, now 4 pm, no rooms but four staff standing around in lobby. Would not suggest you come here.

We have stayed at this hotel a dozen times by now. This is the best value for an airport hotel at JFK. The restaurant is a stand out. The food is very good, no the staff is pleasant and accommodating with any changes. The hotel is just a couple of minutes from the terminals, which is the best since we take a very early morning flight. We Lways recommend this to anyone that needs an airport hotel at JFK.

We stayed at Hilton Garden Inn JFK the night before an international flight the room was small but adequate. The hotel shuttle was very convenient. Compared to other Hilton a Garden Inns that I've stayed at, though, this one was lacking. The staff, however were nice.

It's convenient to travel between NY JFK Airport and the hotel by the connection of airport AirTrain and hotel shuttle bus as we arrived at almost midnight and left hotel at 10am next day. The room is average and the amenities in the bathroom are available by request. Hotel was nice. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit pricey but it did offer a nice selection. Found a large black stain on the side of the bed sheet under bed cover. Overall, this was a very nice place to stay.

Room was simply ok. Nothing special, nothing terrible. I do not recommend this place because of the process to get from JFK to the hotel. I waited at Federal Circle for the hotel van for 45 min. They need a better process.

Stayed overnight after European trip and flew home the next day. We wanted a seamless opportunity to just get some sleep; the hotel was not opulent but very nice, pleasant, clean, convenient and the staff was excellent. Breakfast turned out to be very good when we ordered the cook to order items though the self service looked not worth the price. Shuttle service perfect each way, even returned us to the terminal, not just the AirTrain. Not the Ritz but very nice for what it tries to be.

With airport shuttles easily connected to JFK airport and Skytrain connection to NYC. Spacy rooms with good ammenities, good service. Food available 24/7 through take out services. Friendly staff, didn't make use of breakfast.

We arrived late and the people were just very kind and helped us get everything situated and set our wake up call for an early morning flight and the shuttle took us right to our airline in the morning. the people were excellent.

I had a very brief stay at this hotel: in at 11 pm and out at 830 am. As a result, I really didn't take advantage of many of the facilities. The room was comfortable and clean. The complementary Internet was fine for my purposes. The shuttle (to the airport every half hour) was good, but be aware, when you arrive, you must take the AirTrain to Federal Circle, and then call the hotel. The shuttle is good and helpful. The front desk check in is flaky. They sent us to a room the first time with somebody else's luggage in it. So we had to trundle our bags back to the front desk and try a second time. The front desk seems very preoccupied. They also so mumble or speak very softly. My husband and I stayed here the night before our early morning flight left for Aruba from JFK. At no fault Of the hotel, the location is not so great, however, all airport hotels at JFK are in this vicinity as well. We got a good rate for a park and fly for 2 weeks in May. Check in went smoothly. The gated parking area was nice. The room was clean and the staff were pleasant. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dinner served in the small restaurant in the lobby. I had the Bourbon apple pork tenderloin. It was delicious. There was almost too much food. Our server Dewan was very rare.to be and pleasant. The shuttle to the airport in the morning was ready and waiting for our early flight.

Stayed for one night to catch flight to Costa Rica the next day. It was a great stay. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, helpful, they all aimed to please. They bid us goodbye when we left, when we returned to pick up our cars they greeted us outside as we got off the shuttle and asked us how our vacation was. I chose this hotel because it is close to JFK, has a free shuttle and a restaurant in an area where it is tough to find something if you do not know the area. Rooms are good, and restaurant is decent. We were given a late check out (1.30 pm), which was convenient for our travel plans. We paid extra for the executive club service, but that was wasted money. Negative point is that you have to pay for yr internet connection. That is unseen for a hotel of this price class.

This hotel was a safe respite after missing a connection and having to wait until the next morning to fly out of JFK. But it was no better than that. It is dingy and dirty, the food in the restaurant is overpriced and no more than adequate, but the location close to JFK is good if you are stuck there.

Hotel is in an abandoned service area outside of JFK. You can hear the compressor from the room next to ours cycling on & off all night. Breakfast staff was rude & unattentive. Made reservations here quite a few months ago. Chose this hotel thinking it would be a decent choice given that it was a Hilton name, as well as located about 2 min's from JFK with shuttle service. Had to call 3 times to follow-up on the shuttle service, as we had been waiting for approx. 45 min's for its arrival after our initial call. I was comped a room here due to an airport flight issue. So I can't speak to the price. However, I will write it is a perfectly decent hotel close to JFK. It could be cleaner - bathroom and elevator smelled a little. But overall, an OK place to crash for the night with a comfortable bed. Dinner with cost you almost $20 for a burger and continental breakfast is $12.

This was the most appalling hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in some doozy's! I made four phone calls to the hotel before being picked up by shuttle (silver lining was the driver) and the receptionist was so rude on phone and in person. I get stuck in the area for work often. The staff always comes through for me. Stephanie especially is welcoming and helpful. There is a super cool free shuttle to the JFK terminals and Shopping. Did I mention FREE. I also love the K Cups in the room and food in the restaurant. The Race Track Casino is also right up the block.

It is amazing how polite and inviting this hotel is after returning from Europe and experiencing service that is not top quality. From the desk to the restaurant the staff makes you feel so welcomed that you just don't want to leave the property. Concierge room and staff are great. Only drawback is the shuttle and not being on a timetable from the airport to the hotel.

We were traveling back to the States from Ireland and had a lengthy layover at JFK (6 hours). We were there for about five hours when they cancelled our flight. We tried to get moved to another flight/airline but everything was full so they rebooked us for a flight the next day. I've been to this hotel more times than I can remember. The best thing going for it is it's location. Convenient for early morning departures or late night arrivals. Free shuttle runs every 30 minutes in the morning and on demand at night. They normally drop you off at whatever terminal you need but only pickup from Federal Circle. Service is very hit and miss. If you are looking for a hotel that offers convenience for trips out of JFK, this is a great choice. We stayed overnight, before our vacation. Shuttle service to JFK airport was hassle free. We were able to leave our car at the hotel for the 6 days we were gone. The hotel's daily rate was cheaper than JFK parking and many other options in the area. The room was clean and comfortable for four adults.

Needed to spend 2 nights in the JFK area recently. Have stayed at this property before and am always happy when I can spend the night when they aren't sold out. My husband and I stayed here waiting for a flight to Mexico. I thought the place was top notch. Very updated. Very clean. We are at the lounge and the food was good. We were able to keep our car there for the week and it was only a few dollars more then airport parking. This allowed us to take the shuttle instead of parking at jfk (which is horrendous). I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn JFK, the hotel is close to JFK. There's nothing around the hotel, except another hotel. The lobby is small and the breakfast area files up fast, it's right off of the lobby. My room was nice and very quite, the room was average size and the beds were very comfortable. From the prompt pickup by the shuttle to when we checked out we had an enjoyable stay. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Especially like to mention our waiter in the restaurant, Mr. Shibbir who was extremely nice and pleasant to visit with. Room was very comfortable and clean. Meals in restaurant were very good. Would recommend staying here.

If you want to get a good night sleep before or after a flight this is a good place to stay. Quite overpriced though. And nothing nearby so if you want to be able to do anything but sleep stay elsewhere. Cab fare from JFK runs around $10 - 15 and getting the free shuttle is a pain in the neck especially at night. But the shuttle back in the morning was good.

We stayed here for two days prior to putting our daughter on a plane out of JFK. Our room was small, but clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was extremely quiet, and we all slept like rocks both nights. The hotel staff is to be commended - friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I checked in before a long overseas flight to this hotel and they are an average hotel for use. I am sure there are others that you can shop around at. However this was not one of my most favorite. I may look at it agin on a return trip. however I will also shop around.

What a great place. I really enjoyed the breakfast with Ebony, Erika and the chef Jay. They made me feel at home and the food and service was outstanding! I was worried that I wouldn't have time for breakfast with my schedule, but the service is quick and the made-to-order eggs were just right.

Great value, good room, good bed, helpful stuff, quiet room, free shuttle to JFK. I would definitely recommend this hotel when you need to spend a night before your next flight. The only problem is parking - you would want to drop off your rental before you go to this hotel - otherwise it's $21 per night.

I travel to JFK often for work and have tried other hotels, but after 9 years, I have never been let down as it pertains to SERVICE at the Hilton Garden Inn at JFK Airport! The staff here always remember me and bend over backwards to help. Whether it's Carmen & Ebony in the morning, or Vinny the restaurant manager who "wows" me with his menu selections. The night service staff are always great as well. You will not be disappointed!!

you can only check in after 3 so if your arrive early with plane then you need to wait. Once you have reached 3 pm then they let you wait another 1 hour before you get your room. So after an 18 hour trip with plane you have to wait another couple of hours before you can rest. Next time i might as well travel on with a plane and dont stop over to get a rest.

The Breakfast staff really made my day. The buffet was excellent and well placed. Ebony was very attentive to my wife and kids throughout our whole experience. She also gave us directions to where we needed to go. We were new to the area.

We needed to stay in New York overnight to be close to the airport for our flight. This hotel is clean, friendly and very helpful. Having a restaurant on-site was very convenient since we had already returned our rental car. Staff are friendly and pleasant.

They stay pretty busy because of their location to JFK , and because the property makes for a pleasant stay. Needed a hotel that was close to the Airport/JFK since my daughter had a 1:30 am flight. The hotel is really close to the airport and we were able to get there in 5 minutes. The hotel offers a free shuttle which was great because it was always on time. The drivers were friendly. Be mindful, the hotel is in an awful area. Wouldn't go for a walk. We were taking our son to college in Queens roughly 30 minutes away - there weren't any closer properties that appealed to us, and we are big fans of Hilton Garden Inn, so we chose this property even though it was in an unappealing, relatively inconvenient neighborhood. The hotel experience was true to the brand promise (which is what we've come to expect), so we were very pleased with our stay. From the moment we arrived, exhausted from a 9 hour flight, a gentleman helped us with our bags and kindly escorted us to the front desk. The woman at the front desk was just as kind and friendly. The staff at the restaurant was professional and fast! The amazing staff made it easy to overlook the fact that our room smelled like mold and was incredibly overpriced.

We've stayed at Hilton Garden Inn JFK several times now and found it an excellent place to stay. The restaurant is surprisingly good, from a food quality and value standpoint and the service is superb. All staff, restaurant and hotel, are very eager to serve, and are very welcoming. The shuttle works like clockwork.

This property is minutes from the JFK terminal. We were greeted by Ross the manager offered breakfast right away. Fantastic customer service! Convenient shuttle from the JFK airport. The breakfast included cooked to order eggs, pancakes, French toast.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel at the end of a holiday in Italy. I picked it because of its location to JFK and since it was Hilton, I assumed it would be nice. The hotel has seen better days. Carpet is stained and rooms are dated. The food at the restaurant is way overpriced. The staff, however, was very nice, and tried to be as helpful as possible. That is the only reason for the 3 stars.

This is great hotel if you need to stay near JFK. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the beds are comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by our experience at this hotel. While it is not near anything but JFK airport, it was a pleasant experience. I hate that I don't remember everyone's names, but the manager (Ryan?) was wonderful, the server who brought my room service was cheery and friendly (Bassir), and the bartender made my drinks so well that we kept ordering margaritas (I can't remember his name!). I've stayed in several JFK airport hotels and I decided to "treat" myself after a trans-atlantic flight and heading the next morning onto another long-haul flight, so I booked the Hilton. Not cheap but it had good reviews. The staff are great (and I do mean that, they were all super kind), the rooms are passable but the noise over the course of the night was not ok. Understaffed. Chk-in and out slow. One receptionist. 0500 Van to JFK shows up at 0501..driver gets out, goes inside...does NOT come back. Finally at 0515 OTHER van shows up. By the time we load and go its 0524. I gave myself extra time but others were panicking with almost 1/2 hour late start. Airport shuttles at AIRPORT hotels have to run like a fine switch watch. NOT the case at Hilton GI JFK!

My stay at this hotel was very relaxing. I had no problems with checking in or out. I was disappointed when I found out the hotel parking was an additional 21 dollars per day but the front desk attendant was able to point me in the direction of free/safe parking. Every time I exited or entered the building I was greeted very warmly. It was not only the front desk staff but the entire team. Keep up the great work.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The only good thing is its proximity to Kennedy airport. Otherwise the rooms are dirty n stinky. It's close to a big parking lot and possible some waste dumping/ processing also happens nearby.... Which is a reason for the stink. It has a bar n restaurant which kind of caters fine.

While there aren't a lot of amenities, the hotel has all the basics. Very convenient to the airport. Great for layovers. Good 24 hr. shuttle service. The staff is always helpful. Also easy to get to the city (Penn Station) from the hotel.

The hotel is designed for people who need a place to stay because of flight issues. Don't stay there if you have a choice to go elsewhere. Elevators didn't work. Staff didn't care or know about events and were generally unhelpful.

Spent one night stay in this hotel due to catching very early flight on next day. Check in went smoothly and I was given a goodies bag with a bottle or water and chocolate. Such a warm free goodies. The room is in decent size but clean. The bed is comfortable. Wifi speed is fast. The only drawback was the aircond blower making a lot of noise no matter how you adjust the fan or temperature speed. Meh, Over priced, but that's due to the proximity to jfk. Bed was way too soft for my and my GFs taste. We like it hard. If the room were a woman, I'd say she appeared well travelled. And I don't mean she travelled a lot. Hotel could use a fresh up. Verdict: ok for a quick stop over but that's it.

I travel regularly to NY for meetings and I am a Hilton Honors member therefore I chose the brand 9 out of 10 times. Room looked dated, the iron was broken, you can hear each car that goes by from the 4th floor and not even the toiletries were replenished properly.

There isn't much choice in the Queens area of NY with hotels. I have found that the Hilton Garden Inn is the most comfortable for us, as every room has microwave, small fridge, etc. Also there is a restaurant on the site- make sure to book breakfast package- food is quite good. I checked in at the hotel 09/25/2016 and checked out on the 10/03/2016 I have stayed at the hotel before and had no issue with the hotel, but last stay at this hotel give me really bad feeling about this place. Front desk customer service has gone done a lot, I was treated like a 2nd class citizen. Front desk staff is rude and not very friendly. I will try my best. NOT to stay at this place in future.

First of all, all of the staff were wonderful. We were tired from an 8 hour flight from Warsaw. The shuttle driver at 10pm was so friendly as was the driver the next morning. The front desk personnel were also great. The room was clean but so small it was difficult to find space for our small suitcases. The room was expensive but I guess average for JFK location. For late arrivals, the bar is open late & you can get some food. We left too early to sample breakfast.

Pick up at JFK was extremely late we waited about 45min.for the shuttle it was 1am in the morning and very cold. We had to call twice.The hotel was very nice and the staff was extremely helpful I am not sure if I would use them again..

This is a very convenient location with a free hotel shuttle to get you quickly to the hotel. If you don't want to spend $15+ for breakfast you can walk a few blocks to a couple of convenience/gasoline stores and get some overpriced snacks. Hey - it's NYC so don't expect any airport bargains. I stay at Hilton branded properties almost exclusively. This has to be one of their worst. Rooms are ridiculously small, sheets are two small for the mattress so keep slipping off, the linens feel like they've been washed in Ajax (very rough on the skin), restaurant menu is limited yet very expensive ($18 for a bad hamburger), breakfast buffet choices are a joke and the furniture is dated and worn. The hotel itself is dated and bland, and its location by a tip on an airport service road is nothing to write home about. Service wasn't as quick as it might've been, but staff were very welcoming and friendly, just what you need after a 16-hour flight. Cleanliness of the hotel room and lobby was excellent. The staff was EXTREMELY pleasant and caring. The only thing that was not a 10 for us is that you have to pay for parking on the hotel grounds. I had just got off a long flight from Dubai, and was very tired. The staff was very pleasant. Stayed a few days while on business. Close to JFK. Opted to pay for parking - I recommend doing that as it is certainly safer. The only other option is to try and park on a busy side street. Friendly staff. Clean room. On site restaurant was good. Otherwise limited dining options without driving in traffic which was probably the biggest downside of this hotel.

Very dated facility in an area with no options unless you're going to the airport. The lobby was clean but cluttered/crowded. The room was very clean and comforting after a 20 hour day/flight.
