Neat and clean place to stay in cortland. The price is not bad and the service is excellent . There is a mall right down the road. Walmart is near by. The pool is clean and there is a hot tub. Breakfast is a nice selection.

We recently stayed at the Cortland NY Country Inn for a weekend. We were attending a graduation in Ithaca. This hotel was clean and all staff members were genuinely nice. The breakfast was great! We will definitely stay at a Country Inn again!

Stayed at this hotel for Cornell Commencement weekend with the family. From the moment we walked in the staff was extremely nice and helpful in showing us to our room and maintained a high level of hospitality for the duration of our stay. Overall...Great hotel, great employees, perfect stay.

My family and I had a great time. We were in town for my daughter's college graduation and I cant say enough about this great hotel . From checking in to the awesome breakfast . The staff made sure all of our needs were taken care. We will definitely be back to vacation there. Did I mention the cookies in the lobby and the lemon water were nice touches to have as well.

We needed a place to stay while visiting my cousin and his family in Cortland. We usually stay at this chain in State College Pa so we were not hesitant to try again. It does not disappoint. It is clean and the staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet is great and Margie, the lady who was so diligently working in the dining room made the experience a delight. she did a great job and needs to be commended. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if we were in the area.

This place was so clean and the staff was so very friendly and very helpful. The bed were so comfortable and the breakfast was amazing and fresh. The pool was open late and the whirlpool was great for after a day of hiking. We really liked this hotel and will stay here again if ever in the area.

When checking in a little after 3pm, there was a line of 4 people in front of me. The young lady at the front desk had us all checked in in about 8 minutes with a SMILE. Very professional and good at her job! Rooms were fine. Bathroom fine. Decent drawer space. Good A/C. Breakfast personnel were extremely helpful and personable. Food itself was just OK. Neither my daughter or I could eat the eggs......don't know why. Coffee was delicious. Need a car to get to anyplace else. Good parki... Read more

The rooms are very clean and housekeeping service is excellent. Check in staff great. Room was immaculate and the beds were comfy. The hotel is in a safe place in nice surroundings. The lady that took care of breakfast was amazing. I never saw anyone hustle as much as she did. She was upbeat and greeted everyone with the nicest smile you could imagine.I do not give many places 5 circle rating, but this one deserves it.

We would stay here again without question. Every room and hall was spotless, looked and smelled like new. The complimentary breakfast was awesome with many choices. The hotel was fully booked for the July 4th weekend and handled everybody with ease and smiles.

All the staff were super friendly. Room was very large and clean. Location was in a nice area, surrounded by a lot of restaurants and stores. The included breakfast was mediocre, but what would be expected from a free hotel breakfast. They replenished food quickly when they ran out. A ton of parking available around the hotel. Pool and hot tub were a nice touch.

I have been to this hotel several times. It never disappoints me. The room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. The staff is always warm and friendly. The location in Cortland is only 30 minutes away from Ithaca, and 45 minutes from Syracuse airport. Considering also the hotel rate compared to that in Ithaca, I would prefer to stay here when I need to go to Ithaca. It is worth the trip.

We stayed here while attending a friend's wedding in the area. We had a lovely stay here. Rooms are spacious & clean. Coffee & tea set up in in the room. A small bar sink & mirror outside of the bathroom is a nice extra!!! Our room was extremely quiet - no noises from other rooms or the hallway. The morning breakfast lady was very sweet & welcoming-- she gave a wonderful "face" to the hotel staff. The front desk staff was very welcoming too!! Definitely would stay here again.

Country Inn has generally be a go to safe choice for us. So average for their properties is good for most. It is not a "fancy" as some of their properties - but their room choices does include suites to hold a family of 4 or more. The run down: Rooms: clean , Service: friendly and professional Location: central but recommend calling for directions as google map services can send you mikes to far north Access to rooms: Good with elevator - short hallways - easy - Business center with printers -... Everything was perfect and staff friendly and attentive. We stayed here instead of Ithaca due to an approximately 50% lower cost. The complimentary breakfast and USA Today was appreciated. We were surprised at how convenient this motel was to Ithaca, Cornell and Ithaca College as well as state parks in the area. We simply drove out of the parking lot and were in Ithaca within 20 minutes on a stress-free drive. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed for our niece's wedding in Cortland. The suites were clean and comfortable; our group's rooms were all near each other, which was great; the staff was terrific. I don't know what I paid, so I can't comment on the value, but since it was such a positive experience, I'm going to guess that it was a good value.

The breakfast buffet and the staff make this location memorable! Pool is rather small and room trash cans could be bigger. However, Margie, who manages the breakfast is exceptional in her customer service! Housekeeping employs technique that is aesthetically pleasing and ensures comfort and cleanliness! To help our daughter & son in law move into the area, we stayed here for 3 nights and were charmed. We enjoyed meeting the manager at breakfast and he gave us lots of tips about what to see and do in the area. He also shared some of the history of this part of NY. We intend to visit and stay here again in the future. (We had a great game of putt-putt and some ice cream after a busy moving-in day with our kids at the putt-putt course next to the hotel too!)

This trip was to visit our son at SUNY Cortland. Aparantly there was a sporting event the same weekend and they raised the prices so we had no choice but to pay $280 for the room. This hotel was very comfortable for a stay for a Cornell Parent Weekend. It was 30 minutes driving, which was long, but not too long, and the hotel is nicer than most in Ithaca and not more expensive. The Wi-Fi worked well, and there was a good selection of tv channels during my downtime. There was a decent pool if one had children with them to enjoy it. The breakfast is fine, though more fresh fruit would be nice. Everything is very clean and there is sufficient parking.
