This hotel is in terrible physical condition and in need of basic maintenance. The toilet ran continuously, the shower did not drain and there were cracks in the windows. The front desk, Jake, said he would address the issues however did not even write anything down when we told him. Also it is obvious the hotel knows about the cracks because their solution has been to put packing tape on the windows. Avoid this place at all costs and use your points and money elsewhere.

If you are a fan of Chinese foods, this hotel provides you the best location. Many great restaurants, bakery stores, and food vendors are in walking distance. The hotel itself is somehow a different story. The room is lacking of updates. Heat is not sufficient enough ESP during the time of staying with fridge temp in NY. The soundproof is bad enough, we could hear phone conservation and TV next room early in the morning. And I pray, they should not PARK their shutter bus on the ramp in front the... Read more

I needed a hotel with an airport shuttle that was east of La Guardia. So I ended up here although I normally stay at Hiltons. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. I used the gym twice over 2 days and each time it was empty. You can hear the planes overhead to some degree but it didn't keep me from going to sleep. Overall I was very happy with the location and property itself and would consider returning. The only negative is that the shower heads are low - I'm 6' and I had to st... Read more

We have long been SPG customers, & always prefer to stay in Sheraton Flushing when we're in Queens, NY. My husband checked in late in this hotel, we reported that night that he had some issues with the a/c that was making some noise, & night lamp flickering, so his sleep was interrupted, considering he's a light sleeper. The night shift front desk staff didn't propose or even consider any reparation. But, thanks to Mr. Joel (Front Desk Manager) & Hunee (day front desk agent) for making it RIG... Read more

I'm a little surprised that I got lounge access even as a spg gold. And the view from the lounge is beautiful at night, I cannot stop watching planes taking off and landing(For some reason, I always enjoyed it). The food is mediocre though. The room is pretty quiet and dark, very good for sleep. The only cons is that the hotel is a little old, and you can see it from the shower head.

I won the Queens Tourism contest to dine at the lower level hotel restaurant. The service was excellent. Everything can be shared. We ordered from the Asian menu selections. We started with crispy duck rolls and jasmine tea pork ribs. For mains we shared Chicken in a Clay pot and Prawns with Lotus root. Both were excellent. I selected the (all american) apple pie for dessert. It came with a huge scoop of ice cream. The best part was the large pots of tea that were served. The also have... Read more

I stayed here for nearly a month while I was working the US Open Tennis Tournament nearby. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and my room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I had a good experience overall, even though I didn't spend a whole lot of time at the hotel because I was busy working the tournament. The only negative things about my stay were the very slow speed of the free WiFi and the lack of a complimentary breakfast buffet. I tried using the WiFi for my laptop and had to gi... Read more

We stayed here because of the shuttle to the US Open. We were really surprised to find the hotel nestled among a true Chinatown neighborhood. The hotel itself has an Asian theme and also a shopping concourse with Chinese shops and a lovely Chinese restaurant. Our suite was spacious and comfortable with just a touch of Asian style decor. Usually airport hotels are rather grim, but the Sheraton was surprisingly nice.

Great location for attending the US Open. This was our first time attending and we had a great experience. How can you go wrong with the shuttle service to and from, the daily print out of the tournament schedule and a t-shirt to boot. We found the staff very friendly. Yes the room may be a little aged, but we didn't have any of the odor issues as I've read in several other reviews. The club floor room was nicely stocked and had some simple food choices. The neighborhood is very busy as w... Read more

I have stayed in Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel last year around this time for the graduation trip with my family. We are excited to visit Queens as it is near to Manhattan. However, I still remember how terrible this hotel service and infrastructure were like even if an year has been passed. 1) Internet Wifi - I had to pay extra wifi charge because I have somehow selected PAID (NOT FREE) wifi. WHY would someone use PAID WIFI when one has LTE connection on the phone? This is very strange thi... Read more
