Well maintained and newly remodeled at a good price for Metro NYC area. Nice continental breakfast. Clean, well appointed rooms, good desk/computer area and lounger chair. Modern TV and cable with ShowTime included

Beds sloped to middle, telephone message system befuddled me as no one answered when the message button was pressed to retrieve messages. Staff very pleasant. Note that the hotel is not in White Plains, despite the name.

Everything I want in a hotel is here, as well as an indoor pool and a breakfast bar. I was looking for a hotel just overnight, and this La Quinta met my expectations and price point. The night I was here several big trucks were parked in the lot, and the guys at breakfast seemed to be tradesmen. I say this because I kinda stuck out with a white shirt and tie. I would stay here again.

Horrible customer service relationship! Pool opened 2 1/4 hours late and the hotel was NON smoking but the halls and room smelled like cigs! The breakfast seemed to be more for the staff the guests! A staff member was making her breaKFast for about 10 minutes and then I realized she was the front desk person! tHEY TOOK DONE THE BREAKFAST 15 MINUTES EARLY AND PULL THE FOOD OUT FROM UNDER OUR HANDS!

I am using this hotel for more than 25 years and I feel very comfortable. This is a very good hotel to stay with your family and friends during vacations or business days. The environment is very good and the personnel are very friendly.

Desk clerk was courteous and had our keys ready for us. Not the easiest place to find your room. People were standing at the doors outside the property smoking. Started taking some bags into the room and the room could have been better. No information was available about the room or locations for anything we might need. I tried calling the front desk for a wake up call and got no response. Carpeting was very shabby and had black spots and appeared dirty.

First of all, there is little point in having a pool if it is only open from 4 PM to 9 PM. This is apparently due to the time that the lifeguard is on duty, something rather unusual to find in a hotel. Apparently the hours are being extended from 3 to 10. But as most other hotels have pools open from 8 AM to at least 10 PM, the hours are rather ridiculous for the price of the rooms. The hotel claims to be 100% smoke-free. Other reviewers have complained about smoke outside and in the hallways,... Read more

The room was basic and clean, and I had no problems with the customer service. Breakfast was fine, with make-your-own-waffles, pastries, bagels, and hard-boiled eggs. My only complaint was the thinness of the walls between rooms - I could hear the next door family's conversation as clearly as if there weren't any walls between us.

Chose this hotel as it is the closest to NY Med where my son is studying. Layout of the hotel in terms of room location is odd and inconvenient. Breakfast wasn't great. It's not really worth the price and I doubt I would stay here again.

The stay at this location was great except for the horrible smell of marijuana on the for we were staying on. Whoever was smoking it was also burning incense. Aside from that be bed/pillows were extremely comfy. The place was kept clean. Breakfast provided daily was yummy and the area was clean also. Upon arrival we were allowed to check on early which was awesome since we had just down in on the redeye from California. We'll definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with our 2 dogs. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water, but the tub drain kept sticking closed. Walls of the shower were split in 2 places. Overall a decent place and the staff was quite nice.

Experience was great. Never been here before but I did a romanic get away for my husband and I and it was nice and peaceful. I was able to check in an hour early without an extra fee which was accomodating b/c this was a surprise for my hobby, so I was able to check-in and get everything in the room before he notice the duffle bags in the car. Thank You La Quinta for a Great Weekend!!!!

The rooms are very clean and updated. The employees are nice especially the women in the morning at check out and who take care of the breakfast. The breakfast is very nice and they even have protein with a hard boiled egg. The only thing they didn't have was decaf coffee that my mother wanted. I like that the room had a microwave and refrigerator.

This hotel has a good location and had adequate room with comfortable beds. It was clean enough. However, it was too smelly for us. Our air conditioning unit seemed to pump cigarette smoke into our room overnight. Our luggage smells like it now. We did not have a fridge in our room, either.

each time i come to this hotel, it gets better. This is a personal visit spot for me and i will continue to stay here when I come home. the only thing missing is the crispness of the sheets. I slept straight threw the night and that was a blessing.

Found Bed bugs in the room I was assigned. All they offered was a different room. A few doors down. I was not happy with there response to the situation. Not sure now what I should do with my belongings. I would reconsider staying here.

We stay at LaQuinta Inn in White Plains/Elmsford when we visit our Fordham University Student. It's conveniently located to Fordham's Rose Hill/Bronx campus, doesn't "break the bank", and is our "home away from home". People are friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel is clean and well stocked. Breakfast is a good value. We won't stay anywhere else!!

Not my first choice, spent more than I wanted. breakfast was best part of the stay. I liked the wall thermostat over the usual one on the a/c unit Bed took a bit of time to get comfy but had a good sleep

The only good part of this hotel is that it is pet-friendly. It smelled, was noisy, the bed was completely sunk-in and not supportive, and the staff accidentally billed me twice for the same night. The staff is inattentive. For the price they charge, this hotel should be much better.

Don't think about staying here! Dirty everything. Rude Staff who seemed unconcerned that we had to get to a family wedding. Checkin was 3 pm. They had not even started cleaning the rooms. We had to keep bugging them and didn't get in until after 3:30 pm with no one seemingly waiting to checkin. and no hurry on the staffs part to get a room ready. The breakfast the next day was non existent, instant coffee which tasted horrible, a few muffins and bagels, awful!

The hotel room was clean but dated. The hotel has a gym and a indoor pool which is nice, but overall the place is tired. The entire hotel needs some sprucing up. The staff was polite but young and uninformed. Overall, I cannot recommend this place in good conscience.

This hotel needs some renovations. It looks old and dingy. It wasn't disgusting but not clean enough for my standards. The breakfast is the bare minimum ( waffles, bagels, muffins, yogurt, coffee, juice). I think for the cost of the night, they could do better.

Nice hotel at a reasonable price. Excellent breakfast, and motel has a friendly, helpful, staff. Location was good to catch a commuter train into New York. Price for taxi to train depot was also reasonable.

The trip didn't start off on the right foot but La Quinta was apologetic and accommodating. When we arrived to check in our room wasn't ready yet (we came at 4pm and check in is at 3pm). And they took some money off of our room which was nice. When we eventually got into our room it had a horrible smell and the fan/heater didn't work. They switched our room and it was much better. The bathroom definitely needed help as our shower curtain wouldn't stay closed and the shower head was coming discon... Read more

I want to thank the housekeeper Melissa for such an awesome job she did in the room on the 3rd floor. I am an housekeeper and I know how hard it can be at times and how un appreciated ya can feel at times but I really appreciate what u do. Keep up the good job. The only thing I have to say was the toilet wouldn't stop running over than that I loved it.

We stayed at this hotel for several days for a family event we were attending nearby. The cons: The entire hotel, from top to bottom, needs to be renovated and cleaned. It's very outdated and one could smell that as soon as you walk in. The front doors were a pain when lugging multiple baggage and children. All the carpeting in the building could use a steam clean. It looked very dirty and had an interesting smell to it. Our room, was mostly clean: the linens and towels were cleaned and room... Read more
