Slept like a baby! The mattress was very comfortable. The rooms were nicely updated. We had a HUGE bathroom. Everything was EXTREMELY CLEAN! I don't think I have ever stayed in a cleaner hotel before. Security measures taken for the hotel were excellent. My only complaint is parking. I wasn't aware that only valet parking was available (for an additional fee). The only street parking available is 2 hour parking. We ended up parking the car ourselves about a block away in a parking garage for ab... Read more

We stayed here after arriving and refusing to stay at an awful hotel in Niagara Falls. The hotel is easy to get and to a locate. Additionally it is just a short drive to the falls. The hotel is very nice and our room was on the 12th so we had very nice views of downtown Buffalo. Our stay was very comfortable and the hotel itself was very clean looking. The beds were super comfy and the rooms super spacious.

Sit outside your bound to see one or the other. As for front desk completely useless and be prepared to handler your own luggage and valet parking you pay. Minimum wait for food 30 minutes and forget about the shuttle. They may or may not take you. Depends on their mood? Valet service was very disappointing four of us late no cart and no offer to help. Room service left us no toilet paper. We even tipped these people and they didn't care.

A new downtown hotel. Rooms and service was great. Only two drawbacks, the air conditioner stopped on three days and required three service visits. The other is the valet parking which was slow at times. The valet took a leisurely walk on the day of checkout. Otherwise a great stay.

I can't stress enough how much I loved this great hotel. It is in the heart of town and close to some great local restaurants. If you are in town for business STAY HERE. It can't be beat. If you are looking for a good local bar/restaurant go to Casa di pizza. Around the corner and excellent.

A great location in the heart of downtown and on the rapid transit line. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable, though not overly spacious. This is valet park only - $18 a night - and the waits to get your vehicle can run 15 minutes, so that needs to be built into your schedule.

Street scene and unknowledgeable front desk detracted from a clean room and nice housekeeping staff. It is an urban area after all and you do need to be careful. Homeless people, beggars and people shouting obscenities are a part of many inner cities as it is around the hotel. Buffalo needs to reach out better to its challenged urban citizens.

Upon check-in, we were told that breakfast during the week was until 9 and weekends until 10, so when I woke up the next day at 9:10, I did not go down since I thought it was over. I was told that day by the day shift, that it was weekdays until 10 and weekends until 11. I could've had breakfast. When we arrived at the airport, I called to see if they had a free shuttle. They did & sent it promptly. How great! The next day, my son arrived at the airport. I told him to do the same. They told him ... Read more

I would give this hotel four stars if it were not for the experience in the morning Went in the elevator for breakfast , but the room key somehow stopped working (it has one of those RFID tags inside). Unfortunately, the room key is required to activate the elevator in order to use it. So I went down the (emergency) stairs. Enjoyed the convenient location of the new Garden Inn- super close to the light rail. The staff was great, especially the front desk supervisor Ian who went out of his way to assist us in our travel plans. The only issue we encountered was a few street people that seemed to gravitate out of Lafayette Park - to be expected in a downtown location and the valets/ security would keep them contained to the park. Overall - we would stay there again for sure.

From the time we arrived to departure staff was always pleasant and eager to assist us. Room was clean and quiet. The fitness center was the best I have had the opportunity to use in a hotel. And the indoor pool was amazing. No uncomfortable humidity, and the water temperature was refreshing.

Staff was wonderful, rooms were clean and smelled good too! Bedding was soft and comfortable, towels were large. Breakfast was great, large selection plus they will make you omllettes, waffles etc and reasonably priced. This hotel is withing walking distance of micro breweries, restaurants, and attractions such as Coca Cola Park, the Pierce Arrow Museum and Canal Side. But if you don't feel like walking there is a free train stop right outside the door!

The staff was very accommodating and friendly! I would go back! It is very close to several bars restaurants etc. If there was anything bad to say about it is that there is no parking and you have to use valet. But that's not bad at all I can deal with that!

Good hotel. No complaints. Breakfast didn't have too much variety overall but they had an omelet station which was nice touch. The neighborhood was pretty deserted at night with just a few sketchy characters walking about. However, the location was central so I suppose that's just how Buffalo is. Not sure. Gym and pool were nice.

Beautiful room, great price, awesome service and great attractions in the area. Arrived on a weekday, caught the hotel shuttle, and checked into our beautiful room with a great view of the city. Front desk helped us and we took the public transportation to Niagara Falls with in one block of the Falls. It cost us $4 and it took an hour. We road the Maid of the Mist and took a trolley ride around Niagara Falls Park on the US side. There is a lot more to do there but we were tired so we went to Ha... Read more

My wife was here for six nights; I joined her on night 3. We had a king room that was spacious and comfortable. The king bed was firm and the room comes with a micro/fridge (a very nice touch) and complementary wifi that is fast enough for email and general browsing. For $5/night more you can stream video, if that's your thing. We were also impressed with room service food. Usually, it's over-priced and either soggy or lukewarm by the time it arrives. Not so here. While the menu is a bit limite... Read more

This hotel was excellent I had a business conference at the Convention Center and was worried about not being in the conference hotel. This hotel was much better I enjoyed the brief 5 minute walk every day and it was close to drug stores, restaurants etc. There was even a hotel shuttle that ran between various places throughout the day. The staff was excellent and the place was clean and affordable.

This hotel is top notch! We stayed in February 2016 as a weekend away in Buffalo. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready. The front desk staff apologized profusely and even provided us drink vouchers to use in the bar while we waited. While sitting at the bar, we had a great talk with the bartender about where to eat dinner that night. He had a list of menus from area restaurants and provided a lot of details on each restaurant. Average clean hotel with standard amenities. The room was fairly clean and had adequate furnishings. I did appreciate the clock with USB and AC plugs on the nightstand. The lighting on the room was a bit dark though. Our TV's remote did not initially work so we had to call the front desk to have it replaced. Breakfast at the cafe was a chaotic madhouse as they were understaffed. It took almost 10 minutes to have an omelet created. They need more staff there for sure.

We were very disappointed. We arrived with two very sleepy children at 2 am after a 7 hour drive from MA. We were greeted by a very surly valet attendant who did not offer to help us with our bags or bring a cart out to us. Upon reaching our room - a JR suite - we found no linens on the pullout, and only an incomplete set in the closet (one pillow with no case, a top sheet and a blanket). We also found the room dusty and dirty with candy and wrappers left by and around the bed. Also, there was a... Read more

I've been a Hilton Honnors Diamond member for many years and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had at any location. Not only did the valet damage my wife's 2 month old vehicle, i was actually told that the reason none of the attendants assisted us was because of our perceived young age (really, this happened). You'd think that was the last of the poor treatment we received, but it was only the beginning. After returning home, we contacted Hilton and notified them of what happened (t... Read more

Hilton Garden Inn is in walking distance of the Shea theatres, restaurants, and the Court House. It's also right next to the Metro Rail, which is free for about 8 blocks. And it's a very comfortable place to stay! My room had a refrigerator and a microwave, comfortable beds, and even a view--over the rooftops--of the lake. They offer free coffee and fruited water, and the staff was helpful and friendly. I can't speak to cost, because we got it on the points my travelin' husband has racked up.
