The Boxhouse Hotel was absolutely fantastic, the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful the neighborhood and proximity to public transport/Manhattan/Williamsburg was perfect. The decor and ambiance is awesome too! The Suite was perfect, we were travelling with a 1 year old and having the kitchenette made all the difference. The Hotel provided us with a high chair and pack and play too so we had everything we needed! I would recommend this Hotel to anyone and everyone and would absolutely sta... Read more

We stayed for 5 nights in The Box House Hotel and can not fault it. The room was clean and comfortable with fresh coffee provided everyday. All staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Thanks to Christian the driver who recommended a great diner for breakfast on our first morning, which we went back to on our last day. At first, the hotel itself seems to be a bit out of the way, but it is actually very easy to get to all the sights. A quick walk (or complimentary hotel taxi) to get... Read more

Convenient to Manhattan and Brooklyn, the Box House is a real find. Industrial chic brightened by stained glass, red-painted pipes, botanical prints, and quirky collections of found objects. Nice bar with both classic and trendier cocktails. Well-appointed kitchens inspire quick runs to nearby grocery and wine stores. Not far from subway. Nice, young staff. Good value -- perfect for families. Will definitely be back.

This was our first stay over in Brooklyn & what a fantastic choice we made. The rooms are spacious & well designed. The hotel Is just one subway stop to Manhattan, having been there many times we decided to explore Brooklyn. Just a 15 min walk to Williamsburg, we spent most of our trip exploring the flea & food markets. Also wandering around the independent shops and hanging in the coolest bars. I loved this place. Everything was top notch from the friendly, professional staff to the accommodations. Even the sleeper sofa was comfortable! Room was well appointed. Staff recommended water taxi as best option for getting to Brooklyn Bridge & that was an excellent suggestion. Box Hotel courtesy shuttle dropped us at water taxi. These two trips made our experience more enjoyable. Would stay again.

So just checked into the Box Hotel and the hotel is super cute. It has an eclectic decor with lovely pops of color perfectly placed around the building. The room itself has a since of a studio apartment and it has most of its amenities but it's still a hotel.
