"When we checked in we were given the wrong room but it was fixed very quickly, we even had a room on the second floor with a balcony. The Staff is friendly but we were mislead a few times. We ask for a liquor in the area and none of the staff knew of any in the area. The parking guy is the one that guided us to one and when we got to the store the guy at the cash said that he delivers liquor at this hotel all the time and even gave the hotel some card in case some guest wanted liquor...Well they said that there was no liquor store around probably because they have a bar and they want you to spend your money there.

When we checked in we were also told that the renovations in the lobby would be done the next morning. There were only 2 elevators working and the renovation lasted 5 days, i wish i was told that there were renovations when i booked. Also we did not have access to ice in the hotel, we had to go to the sheraton next door to get some ice.

The rooms were fairly clean besides a few stains on the carpet but besides that it was nice and modern, great shower, coffee machine with plenty of coffee, nice big vanity and mirror, the beds were also very clean and comfortable, nice TV and wireless room phone with free local calls.

We checked out 30 minutes after the checkout time ( Noon ) and they charged us 37 dollars for a late check out fee. Well i never heard of a late checkout fee after 30 minutes. Usually they charge you a fee after 1 hour. Specially when they know that it takes you a good 15 minutes to wait for the elevators.

As far as locations it is perfect, all the stores on Fulton st are very convenient with a few dinners around as well. There is also the Brooklyn Terrace club right next door on the Sheraton rooftop for entertainment.

Overall it was nice!"

"This is a nice hotel with poor staff efficiency and friendliness. I was highly disappointed with the service at the hotel considering I was paying $200 a night. The parking attendant doing the valet parking was more friendly and helpful than the staff. I was in town on business and had neighbors who were up until 4am everyday making noise and playing loud music. They had no consideration for other guests. Needless to say, I didn't rest very well. I requested a room change and was flat out told no. I travel quite a bit for work and have stayed at numerous hotel's across the country and have always been treated with courtesy. This one in Brooklyn is by far the worst one I have stayed in. It is probably the worst hotel experience I have ever had."

"we booked two rooms ant the rooms were great a little smalll but beds so soft showers great . air conditioning came up on its own sometimes best elevators in the world you could have a party in them front lobby outstanding with pool table internet and great choice of snacks to buy 24 hrs best idea i have seen in any hotel use the valet if you have a car much simpler and convenient a little pricy but it was worth it front desk superb always helpful and consistent close to all the shops and restaraunts maceys 2 blocks away go to juniours the best cheescake . i would reccommend this place to all my freinds a hidden gem just off the main streets"

"The location of the hotel was very central - close to the subway stations to downtown Manhatten while in the middle of homey Brooklyn. Just a few steps to the DeKalb Fare, famous Juniors or the Long Island University. The hotelroom was cozy and - for me very important: The wifi worked always reliable - even on the 17th floor i could log in perfectly into the worldwide web."
