Had a great weekend at the Doubletree Hotel in Binghamton, NY. We registered at the front g desk and they were handing out fresh baked cookies. The gym had all the equipment we use at our local gym and the hotel staff were very accommodating.

After spending the weekend camping and road tripping, it was a relief to reach the Doubletree by Hilton in Binghamton. The employee at check in was very kind to us, and gave us extra cookies when we told him our last stay (different location) we had to share just one. The room is very clean and gorgeous, incredibly spacious. We tend to be light sleepers, and I was happily surprised that our room next to the elevator did not provide much traffic noise. The air conditioner or vent however was l... Read more

Great hotel in Binghamton area....which is not easy to find. I am a world traveler and Binghamton doesnt offer too much in the way of "nice" hotels. Sure there are comfortable inexpensive places to stay, but the Doubletree is of greater quality having a healthclub, restaurant and bar on premises which are the amenities I look for in hotels. The rooms are impeccable and the beds are the most comfortable I have found. The downtown area is not for everyone, although great local restaurants the are... Read more

Our garmin took us right to it, although you may be convinced you are lost. Very pleasant front deck young man. Room was great. Smelled clean and fresh. It was Memorial Day and there was a baseball game. At the conclusion, we watched the fireworks from our seventh floor window. Nearby restaurants were closed so we bought some snacks at the little shop on the ground floor and enjoyed the great air conditioning in our room. Would return in a heartbeat.

Very nice hotel. Location is great and easy to get to. We stayed one night but for what we needed it was a little pricey. But it was walking distance to where we were going so decided to stay here anyway. We could have stayed a few blocks away at a lower price and free breakfast. This hotel offers free coffee in the AM only. Breakfast was around $9.00 for a light breakfast and $15.00 for a regular one. We walked two blocks to a diner for breakfast. Overall it is a nice place to stay.

Stayed one night over Memorial weekend. If you GPS it, you may lose faith in the turning instructions, but it is correct. Room was clean, smelled good, and the bedding was great. Lots of free, "I felt safe" parking. There was a baseball game that night so we had our own private viewing of the fireworks afterwards. Only inconvenience was the lack of eating establishments. There were plenty around, just all closed. Finally decided to buy some things from their tiny but adequate pantry. Beca... Read more

I have stayed at the DoubleTree in Binghamton 6 times over the past year. Every time the staff has been professional and courteous. The rooms are large and well appointed. The attached health club is excellent. There is a fridge in all the rooms. Beds are very comfortable. It is right in downtown Binghamton, so venues and restaurants are in walking distance. It's close enough to the freeway to be convenient to other parts of New York.

My son had his wedding reception at the Doubletree on June 25th, and it was amazing! The catering staff was wonderful to work with and you didn't worry about one thing, once you walked into the ballroom! Everything ran smoothly, the banquet staff got the meals out in a timely manner and the food was delicious! Definitely would recommend the Doubletree for a wedding or any event!

The first time we came here, in 2012, it was not yet a Hilton and was an old and slightly seedy hotel that was undergoing refurbishment. However, having said that, it was still fine. Our two dogs have always been welcomed and they enjoy coming here. We have been here at least 6 - 8 times as we often stop here on our way to/from Canada and unexpectedly spent a night here in February due to a Nast snowstorm. The dogs have been welcomed each time. I travel to the Binghamton area about once a month for business and always stay here. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff is always friendly. I am greeted as a Hilton Honors member with 2 bottles of water which is a nice perk. One of the best things about the hotel is the access to the Riverwalk Athletic Club as the hotel gym. It is a full gym with classes like yoga available to guests. I also look forward to my warm cookie when I arrive after a long road trip!

We always try to stay at Hilton properties--usually Hampton Inn is preferred as I like consistency in their product. This Doubletree was spacious and nice and obviously recently refurbished and updated. Room was large, 2 queen beds with river view. Here's where my concerns kicked in. Beautiful view of river, mountains, even a sunset out of the large window...but it was so dirty (mostly on the exterior), it was completely spoiled. We were a bit nervous as we pulled up to the place, as the surrounding area isn't that great, but I was blown away by how nice this place is inside. Rooms were top notch, bar/restaurant was not only high quality, but had fun things (trivia contest) going on, so I wasn't just bored sitting there watching TV. I'm not sure if I'll ever make it back to Binghamton, but if I do, I'll definitely be staying here.

I was at the DoubleTree for a business meeting recently and the rooms were immaculate, the food was absolutely outstanding (and I'm a vegetarian) and the staff was professional and extremely helpful. If you're looking for a place to stay in Binghamton, you can't do better than the DoubleTree. And the best part? It's affordable and you get a cookie on check in!!

We stayed for the weekend in a suite. Staff was friendly. Housekeeping was a little under par: used glasses not replaced; couch cushions not replaced; mini-fridge needed to be defrosted. The bathtubs were renovated by shower body instead of a full renovation making the showerhead very low.

Takes good care of its guests without being pretentious about it. Excellent facility, room was excellent with comfortable beds. Had a full health club/pool facility which I regret I had no time to make use of. Only complaint is breakfast costs extra- most places in this class have a buffet that's included these days.

I was at the hotel for 3 nights for a conference. The food for this group of about 250 was pretty good and plentiful. Unfortunately, at lunchtimes, there was only one food station and it took quite a long time for 250 people to get through the line. Many people were late for the class after lunch. Also, they were not good at cleaning up after the cocktail hours. We had an event on Sunday night, and the table where the cheese and crackers was set up on still had things on it on Tuesday. My room... Read more

Stayed on floor 2 What a wonderful experience! Stay was prompted by a wedding in the area. Amanda and David were so welcoming and she was able to get us into our room early so that we had ample time to dress. Josh shuttled us a couple of blocks to the wedding location. In the morning, Brewed coffee was available downstairs a well as in-room kcups, however preferred brewed with cream vs. artificial creamer. The room appeared to be recently renovated. A solid 3-star hotel. Do not necessarily expect to use the pool; hotel guests aren't allowed in during aquatics classes; you need to ask specifically for time schedule because hotel management won't tell you otherwise. Front desk staff variable; some are helpful, others bureaucratic and dismissive (even to those with HHonors status).

I recently had my wedding night in the DoubleTree in Binghamton and it was a lot nicer than I expected. Earlier this year I stayed in a Crowne Plaza in Boston which was extremely disappointing and my expectations were on par with my previous experiences. The hotel staff here was friendly and helpful. Everything was taken care of. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The hotel bar was also pretty nice. I went to the hotel bar early in the afternoon so I'm not sure if they had a cocktail menu... Read more

Once again we had wonderful stay at the Doubletree. It's close to all of the bars, restaurants and shopping in downtown Binghamton. It's also against the river and having the river walk was a nice touch. We were able to bring our small dog for a $35 fee - well worth the money. We plan on going back in November.

Excellent staff. Clean large rooms. Great Bar and restaurant. I would recommend this hotel highly. Very good location. I attended a wedding and the ceremony and reception were very close to hotel. The shuttle bus drivers were very helpful and accommodated us by taking us to and from the reception. They were at the reception to pick us up at the predetermined time without a reminder call.

We were passing through Binghamton for the night and stayed at the DoubleTree. The hotel location was great for exploring the area both by car and on foot. There's a children's museum not too far out of town that was a nice visit along with nice restaurant options or family eating. The hotel room was clean and modern. The restaurant in the hotel had a good brunch with attentive servers. Wouldn't recommend for a longer stay with young family but would definitely recommend for business travel... Read more

For the hotel, I have all good things to say. The location is nice and I love the river view rooms (and the fact that Hilton lets me chose my room is a huge plus), and it's a very nice hotel. But the dining room has much to improve upon. The food is pretty good and not too expensive. The staff, once you have them, is friendly and courteous, but the service is slow. Wait to order, wait if I need anything, and then wait for the check. Plus, they run around like it's all about them - in thi... Read more

Terrible customer service for my sister's DT bridal shower, then her hotel wedding planner for her Double Tree wedding quit two weeks prior to her wedding. Binghamton is not a glamorous place. While the Double Tree by Hilton does not have any big city charm, it is a nice and clean property. Shopping is just a few steps away. The buffet breakfast is good. This is a basic hotel with all the required amenities but nothing fancy. The staff are not great but not horrible. The only disappointment is that the internet connection is spotty at best.
