Location perfect. Value for money excellent. Somewhat noisy rooms due to an old insulation but that is irrelevant complaint with regards so many other pluses. Spacy rooms with good wifi. Basic but tasty breakfast in a comfortable breakfast room.

Clearly the numerous mining contractors have driven up the rates for this hotel. Family travelers are few and far between. Negatives: - pool was closed (and that was a Hughes disappointment to the kiddos - wifi slow and the business centers computer was a joke (still runs on XP) - expensive! - located on a busy four lane highway, requiring dangerous left hand turns to get out of parking lot - bunches of single guys (contractors) hanging out in the parking lot smoking every night Positives: ... Convenient location, clean, good room but on the higher price scale for this sort of hotels. Free breakfast useless for us. Lousy tasteless coffee, rest of offer quite complete but served in unpleasant breakfast room with tv on and most guests talking on the phone.

This is a nice HIEX location. Clean, comfortable, good Wi-fi. Its not really walking distance from anything but a Wendy's, and not very good walking nearby for dogs. Not a concern for most people, but it is for some and why I mentioned it. Lovely views and a good option if you are visiting Silver City and want a reliable hotel.

We were traveling with our dog and this was a nice hotel and a good value. I believe it was newly redecorated. There were a few things missing from the room ( towels and glasses) but this was easily remedied. It was quiet and a bit from downtown. I would recommend it. We did not eat breakfast so cannot comment on that.

The rooms were clean and updated and as always Holiday Inn has good quality toiletries. Other than that I was disappointed in a lot of things - the breakfast - eggs were powdered with fake cheese in the omelets. Orange juice was terrible, watered down and had a strange taste. Coffee not so good. The hardest part though was that I couldn't sleep at night because the beds were way too hard and the windows don't open. Without ac on the rooms get way too warm and with it on it's too cold and lo... Read more

We stayed in six Holiday Inn Express hotels on our recent NM trip. This one was "as expected" as to room quality and breakfast food quality. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly, and the location is off the main highway and therefore quiet. Parking is convenient, and there is a fast food restaurant close by (note: all the better restaurants are downtown). On the negative side, the bathroom had a persistent odor during our three day stay. And the pricing was higher than the other fi... Read more

The motel was a bit hard to find. No Holiday Inn sign on the main road to indicate you're near it, so you have to watch for Superior Street. The motel receptionist was very nice. Very clean and modern. Right in town so your close to restaurant and stores.

We stayed here with the kids and paid more for a bigger room which made it much nicer. The keurig in the room was really nice. Everyone loved the breakfast. Much better than most continental breakfasts! We especially loved the pancake maker.

Beautiful rooms, clean, decorated very nice, good value! Hot breakfast, gym, in room refrigerator, outdoor pool, conveniently located (Behind Wendy's) and close (driving distance) to old town. This is a modern hotel and the front desk staff and breakfast staff very friendly!

I've stayed here a number of times while visiting my parents. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel is well maintained with a very friendly staff. Breakfast is great. Lots to choose from. Brent is an excellent manager and anticipates guest needs and has assembled a great team.

The air conditioning didn't work in our room but since it wasn't blistering hot at night we survived. We did not call the front desk since it was late enough that maintenance would have been gone, The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the tv worked and the shower was good so all in all it wasn't a bad stay.

We needed an ADA room and travel with a small service animal. I booked through the hotel website and made specialty requests in notes without adding a phone call to insure the notes had been read. Surprise! Everything we needed was provided. My husband's business correspondence was interrupted by the hotel internet router being fried by lightening. BUT! Staff passed our issues up to management who said and did all the right things. This is definitely our Silver City hotel.

Fairly new building, clean accommodations, comparable breakfast. You are close by to downtown with decent restaurants and within a mile in each direction you can find a gas station, walgreens and walmart. Will definetly stay there again in my next trip on that region.

Stayed here for one night during a business visit. The room was nice; spacious and clean. Service was good and location was also good for our purpose. What they could greatly improve on is their breakfast selection. It was just sad.. not a single piece of cooked vegetable. Not even eggs! Just some starchy things and chewy bacon.

Decided upon holiday inn express on a one night venture through town - room was very nice, beds comfy, clean. However at 0630 a man came in our room, turning on lights and seemed confused - woke us up startled! Person left without saying anything. Tried to address with front desk but received just a "that must of been our manager, I'm sorry" - despite the fact it didn't make much sense to be the manager. Definitely a disappointing response. Would consider staying again but certainly have conc... Read more

Very nice hotel, Reception was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Nice room and shower. Everything was clean. Room was large enough it could have used a small coffee table. Breakfast had juice, coffee, milk, pancakes, cereal, fresh fruit, toast, muffins, sweet rolls, yogurt, eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy.

Two adults recently stayed for one night while exploring Silver City and Gila National Forest. We reserved a few months in advance to guarantee a wheelchair accessible room. The room was ready and waiting when we arrived and check-in was efficient. The hotel was modern and attractive and our room was clean and comfortable, and reasonably spacious for one night. All the necessary amenities were provided, including an iron, microwave, hair dryer and toiletries. The hotel location was fairly quiet ... Read more

We stayed in the Silver City HIE for one night in early October. The hotel looks fairly new. The hotel sits a block off the road, behind Wendy's, and could be difficult to find at night. My main complaint about this hotel would relate to lack of sound-proofing. I could easily hear doors to adjacent rooms open and close, people above walking around, and toilets flushing. It is as if they took the normal budget for sound-proofing, and halved it. The breakfast was also disappointing.... Read more

What a pleasant experience! This was our final stay after traveling for two weeks and was the perfect end to our vacation. The staff was kind and courteous, the room clean, comfortable, and quiet, the bathroom, well stocked. The breakfast was wonderful and was ready at 5:30am! Perfect for us! We highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express if you are in the area. "We shall return"!

We loved our room that included a small couch and coffee table, microwave, frig and sink in the kitchenette area. We purchased some microwaveable meals at the front desk, and enjoyed dinner in our room while watching TV. The king bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and nice.

The hotel has ample parking even for pickup trucks with trailers. The hotel is well maintained and our room was clean and comfortable. I gave 3 stars because the check-in process was not as easy as it is in most Holiday Inn hotels. When asking the night clerk questions it seemed like he was hardly bothering to listen. The check-in process was somewhat frustrating. The free breakfast was as expected and not a disappointment. The breakfast area was clean and food replenished as required. Th... Read more
