Stayed here on our way from Arizona back to Illinois. Was a very nice stay with a quiet comfy room. Such a pleasant staff and the room was clean and so quiet. I was worried about highway noise but never heard a thing all night. Breakfast was delicious and a special thanks to Vicente who packed us special goodie bags to go for our road trip. Highly recommend this hotel for a clean quiet comfy stay on a level my trip.

Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Can't ask for much more. Staff was very welcoming. We did the internet check-in, so we were in our room within minutes. Breakfast was very nice. Location is on old Rte 66 off I-40, but was very quiet. Would stay here again.

We stopped in last minute on our way back to AZ from OK. Beautiful lobby, pleasant staff and a quiet, clean room. It was a nice "overnighter" and then a wonderful breakfast was available before we got on the road again. Everything from waffles to yogurt...a full array of hot and cold breakfast foods and great coffee. The only reason I could not give 5 stars to this hotel was although the bathroom was clean it was clearly in need of attention. Shower was old, wallpaper discolored, grout icky ... Read more

My family stopped at the Hampton as a halfway point on a long road trip and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. There's an indoor pool and jacuzzi along with a game room. The game room really only consists of a pool table though so small kids may be disappointed. It's located in a very small town so it was peaceful and quiet with a few small restaurants within a couple miles. The hotel also offers to go breakfast bags for the road tripp... Read more

Great staff, well maintained rooms, verry nice pool and fitness room. The gentleman running the breakfast area was exceptional.. No major restruants but plenty of local places close by. The pool and hot tub were closed by the department of health. Not surprising. I frequently stay at this hotel because it is mandated by my work. This facility does not meet the standard of a Hampton Inn. Mold and loose tiles are almost always present in the bathrooms. Lots of hair too. Paint and wallpaper in the common areas is damaged. Clearly housekeeping and maintenance are not a top priority. The service is spotty, only greeted as a HHonors member about half the time. I really wish I... Read more

This hotel appears to be wood frame construction. So if you are on the 1st or 2nd floor you will get no sleep until the room above you calls it a night. Get a room on the top floor to avoid the noise. Other than that, it's pretty 'normal' for a Hampton Inn.

We were in room 301. We had two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. There was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room for no additional charge. The room was HUGE and we were so comfortable. There was a little sticky note on my bed that said "pillow cases sheets and bed cover are all clean & fresh". The bedding felt and smelt clean! We were getting a little road weary and this hotel certainly refreshed us all. The breakfast is average for a limited service hotel. The WiFi was smoking hot fast... Read more

It's a little dated and could use a little remodeling. The front desk person that greeted us on the evening of 6/20 could not have been friendlier or more helpful! She was awesome! The rooms were clean and comfortable. It's easy access on and off of 40. It was a real pleasure. The beverage bar in the evening was a very welcome thing after being on the road all day. The front desk lady though was the highlight though. I was actually taken by surprise by the helpfulness and kindness.

Room was clean and looked great. Bed was comfy. I was awakened in the middle of the night by an insect or bug of some sort. I was bitten numerous times on the neck and shoulder and the rest of the night was sleepless. I spoke to the check out clerk and informed her of the problem and asked that they have that room checked before anyone else stayed in there. I showed her the bites on my neck and shoulder and she said, sorry and that was all.

My family needed a place to rest in Santa Rosa NM after a long day's drive. I found the Hampton Inn and recalled my stay at one in Cortez CO. The only negative was the loud family on the top floor above us.

For this location, the stay was fine ...except all front side rooms face a trucker's overnight depot by "Pilot" so refrigerated trucks rumble ALL night. Ask for a back side room if this noise bugs. The front desk staff were nice and cheerful however my reservation request for a particular breakfast item (due to food allergies) was either not seen or ignored, even after reminding them when I checked in the evening prior. However, the oatmeal for breakfast was among the best I've had at any hotel! The A/C in the room was difficult to maintain; it was either too cold or too warm.

Stopped here for the night on a road trip from Maryland to the Grand Canyon. I was a little concerned it would be a noisy night due to the number of semis parked at the Pilot Travel station across the street from the hotel. There was NO need for my concern. We spent a very nice quiet night in a clean and comfortable room. The only issue I had with the room (229) was the gap between the door and the door jam which let in a good bit of light from the hallway. Other than that, perfect stay.
