Had a two night getaway to the Old Santa Fe Inn. Lovely property with great complimentary breakfast and afternoon cookies and tea. Had requested a room in the new building. The room was lovely - heated bathroom floor, fluffy new towels, kiva fireplace and little patio (no seating at time of visit). The only problem was the door that connected to the room next door. Light shone under the door and we could hear everything our neighbors said plus the hair dryer going on and off at 4:45 AM! Put a da... Read more

Decided to push on passed Pueblo and stay in Santa Fe to check out the Georgia O'Keeffe museum and really lucked out (well, luck and Tripadvisor) in finding this wonderful break from the road. Worried when we were given one of the last rooms, one of the few upstairs (no elevator), across the courtyard, but when we opened the door we greeted with a beautiful room with top-of-the-line finishes and furniture, plug-ins and charging stations where you need them, a working kiva, and great mountain vi... The hotel is only a few blocks from the Plaza. And it has free parking, no resort fee, free full breakfast, and free chips & salsa & guacamole & cookies in the afternoon. Also free coffee all the time. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The hotel is themed to Santa Fe so not cookie cutter rooms. If you are willing to walk a few blocks you can save a lot and enjoy a quiet, low key room.

Nice property within a couple nice walking blocks from the Plaza. Good breakfast is included- as well as nice coffee and tea service. Good (free) parking close to room was a bonus. New wing is nice but may not work for those unable to negotiate stairs.

My room was small but nicely decorated, with comfortable bed and kiva fireplace. They are only a few blocks from Old Town, close enough to be where the action is and far enough away not to hear it. They have free breakfast with a whole burrito bar set up (or you can just eat the eggs, breakfast meat, bean, etc on a plate. They have a griddle so you can heat your tortillas, a waffle grill, yogurt, granola, cols cereal and fruit Best of all, it starts at 7:00 a.m., so if you're planning on hiking ... Read more

Old Santa Fe Inn made a great two night stay over in Santa Fe. Our room was a corner unit (29 I think) large, comfortable, well appointed with a small private patio. We found it to be very convenient and quiet. We had a wet bar with coffee maker, microwave and a fridge. There was a Kiva style fireplace in a corner, and nice high res flat screen TV. Plenty of room for all our stuff and our disabled dogs stroller and wheelchair as well. We requested and were given a pet -friendly room. If traveling ... Read more

For several years, my husband and I have stayed at the Old Santa Fe Inn when we head up to Santa Fe from Albuquerque for special occasions, long weekends, etc. We have stayed at many other places in Santa Fe, but we always come back here because of the excellent service, clean well-appointed rooms, and EXCELLENT location for the price, just near the Santa Fe plaza. Parking is easy, free, and with the newly added rooms, we love this place even more! Now that we have a 9-month old son, we can book... Read more

I have stayed here many times in the past and had a good experience but this most recent visit was not. This was the first time we stayed in a room that had an upstairs room above us and it was terrible. You could here them talking, using the bathroom, walking, etc, and it didn't help that they came in late and stayed up very late. It felt like I was in their room with them. Very very thin walls and no installation to block out noise. Also, heavy construction going on so very noisy and congested... Read more

WOW. I booked a King room with a kiva fireplace. We ended up in what I believe to be a new building, or at least a newly renovated building in room 67. Impeccably done. Beautiful lobby, radiant heated floors in the bathroom. Huge flat screen tv next to the super romantic kiva. The breakfast was phenomenal considering it was complimentary for guests. We kind of ran out of things to do in the immediate area after a few days because we really pounded the pavement, but I would come back to Santa Fe ... Read more

What more can I say that hasn't already been said before? The location is great, just a short walk to the plaza. The breakfast is amazing and the room very clean. Every employee we encountered was very friendly and helpful. If I must pick a downside to my visit, the only downside to our stay was the dust and noise from the parking lot construction. It wasn't bad though. We will definitely stay again during one of our many trips to Santa Fe.

I want to be fair to this Inn. It eventually could be beautiful and a great destination, but right now it has some issues. There is a huge construction project going on at the Inn. The parking lot is torn up and navigating a large vehicle (my Yukon) around the parking lot was challenging. In fact there were only 3 spaces it would fit into. All 3 spaces were filled the next morning. Parking is no problem for a sedan type car. Another issue is part of the hotel is 2 stories and there is no e... Read more

In general a great place to stay. But the construction limited the parking and ability to get to your room. If you are a low lander like me, taking your bags to the second floor a couple of trips at 7200 ft above sea level is a challenge. Breakfast in the morning is a treat, along with newspapers, business area, and a front desk staff that was so helpful to their guests. Hotel is walking distance to old town. Call first and get a downstairs room, drive a small car and stay here. Good value.

We stayed here for 4 nights in late May. It was wonderful with a great central location (a 5 minute walk to the main plaza), excellent breakfast with genuine fresh melon, lots of choice including a "burrito bar", very clean, obvious care and attention by owners to make guests as comfortable as possible. It was clearly not a typical chain hotel. The only negative was that the wifi in the room was down, apparently due to an off-site construction accident. But the hotel had managed to arrange for w... Charming hotel with parking right outside your hotel door. My room was small (a bed and no room for anything else) but clean and nice. I had a long flight in so was tired and resting but the housekeeping continually knocked and continually rang the telephone which was super disruptive and annoying after a very long flight. As cars park on the gravel right outside the rooms this can be noisy too.

Arriving on a dark, rainy night finding it was very easy, and once there we were informed that we were being upgraded to a room with a fireplace. This is our second visit to the OSFI and it was just as good as the first. We were greeted with a welcome snack of chips and sales as well as freshly baked cookies. While we had a little trouble with the tv remote, Rachel brought a replacement right away. Then we could not get the air conditioner working correctly and she straightened that out right away as well. This is definitely a superior motel. We loved our stay and found many items high quality - great breakfast, good lighting, thick towels and nice decor, not to mention helpful and friendly staff. One or two things need looking at - no compendium to explain where things are, how to dial other rooms, etc and the sliding door in our suite would not stay closed without wedging it (for privacy in the little living room with the sofa bed). The hotel is a seven minute walk from the centre of town. As others have mentioned they are adding new rooms so there is construction work going on during the day that starts at around 8am until 4-5pm. We booked a deluxe King balcony suite and were given room 41. On the positive side the room was very spacious with a separate lounge area and fireplace. Joey Ramos did an exceptional job guiding us to the right room during pre-trip reservations. He was equally professional and helpful during our stay. The hotel is well-situated for those wanting to be close to the center of town. Our room (11) was clean, nicely appointed and everything functioned well. Parking was very close to or in front of the room. The common areas were quite nice and comfortable to use. The guacamole and chips in the late afternoon is not a happy hour substitute; hote... I wish there were a category between "Average" and "Very Good" to describe this place. Some elements were lovely, others needed work. I was travelling with my mother, and we were placed in what can only be described as a room the size of a postage stamp (#38). There was barely a foot on each side of the bed in which to move, a giant armoire that took up a large space, and a tiny bathroom. It was right next to the door to the vending and ice, and also had an exterior door that served at least 3 o... Read more

The location of this hotel was close to everything! The only minor issue with the location was that the construction going on was just a bit inconvenient for detours and walking. Other than that, it really wasn't a problem. The hotel was in good shape and attractive. Our room was nice and even though the shower tile might be considered dated, it fit the décor.
