The property had renovated rooms, and the renovation was nice, but the exterior was rough with rust and rotting wood posts. Our king room had a recliner and a nice table, but no microwave or fridge. The bathroom was the split design and when you turned on the light over the sink, 5000 watts of light flood directly onto your sleeping partner in bed. The bathtub had a liner with water trapped underneath and was"squishy" when you stepped in. It also wasn't very clean due to the rough surface and ... Read more

We had a problem with our TV when we arrived and the lady that was running the front desk that night came up personally to fix the problem. In the end, she gave us her TV remote to use since ours would not work. She also gave us some complimentary points for the inconvenience. The rooms were very clean and large. Breakfast was okay but no extras. No hard boiled eggs (like other La Quinta Inns) which I missed since I like some protein for breakfast.

santa fe is pricey! no question about it. so we wanted to stay affordable when we went to Meow Wolf (which is FANTASTIC!!!) la quinta is reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, and as santa fe is really not that big..close to everything.

Check in staff were not friendly, never smiled. Keys didn't work when we got to our room and same staff were rude in addressing the issue. Breakfast was a few bagels, some bread, couple of muffins, cereal and gross looking gravy. Check out staff were much friendlier than the previous staff.

LQ remains our first choice traveling with our dog. This property is a bit older and could use a face-lift. Friendly staff, clean rooms, breakfast and decent location of I-25, but the overall atmosphere needs a boost. A bit frustrating with a lack of good nearby places to eat.

We spent three consecutive nights at this La Quinta. Recently remodeled. Super clean room. Great water pressure, hot shower. Comfortable king size bed. My husband and I slept well each night. Quiet room. Couldn't hear anyone on either side, above or below. Courteous staff. We didn't take advantage of the free breakfast because we wanted to sample to local fare. Fast, free WiFi access. We will definitely stay again the next time we visit the Santa Fe area.

We spent a week here. we called the staff a week before we arrived and requested a room by the pool. they had it ready for us and had a table and chairs outside the room.cannot emphasize how professional and nice the staff was. Breafast good. great place to stay on sante fe. Half the price of some other hotels not as nice. and of course the pets stay free. no fee.. Our pets and we loved Sam.

We were looking for a place with a pool. And they specified to us that they had a pool so we booked a room for 3 nights. We got there and asked for a 3rd floor room (so we could over look the pool) we got up to the third floor and noticed their small pool was empty and dirty! Then we waked into the room and noticed that there were MULTIPLE holes in the sheets on the bed. Room was aesthetically pleasing (besides the holes). It is also in a good area. We asked for a discount because they had false... Read more

I have stayed at other La Quinta properties before and decided to try this one. It has room for improvement. The stay started out badly when the keys to the room did not work. The office sent a worker to open the door but did not send new keys. Had to call for new keys and waited 30 mins. for them. Breakfast was interesting. They put up tables and chairs in the lobby. It was very noisy and crowded. Made checking out difficult because of staff having to tend to breakfast needs. The staff ... Read more

After first visit a few days ago we decided to try this la Quinta out again. Last time we had no hot water on the second floor. This visit was great, staff was gracious and accommodation was wonderful. I plan on a week next year if all goes well.

We recently stayed at the La Quinta in Santa Fe. We have stayed there off and on for over 20 years, but this will be the last time. Although the rooms have been nicely refurbished, the exterior needs a lot of work. It is shabby and in poor condition. The elevator worked fine but it was filthy. The walls had spills on them, the ceiling tiles were missing, and the floor had lots of trash on it. The condition did not change from when we checked in to when we checked out. The coffee pot in ... Friendly reception, next to room parking, dog friendly, nice rooms. Applebees is next door. I would recommend this motel to my friends and even made a reservation for myself in August. This facility has been upgraded recently.

I had to ask to have the room cleaned. The continental breakfast was packaged muffins and a few slices of bread. There was no USA Today. They had no exercise room. The pool was ice cold. The manager was accomodating.

This review is for the pet owners out there. We were hoping for a nice place to stop with our dog with adequate pet stations. Let me tell you the pet stations are gravel only!! Our room was by the pool and we ventured down the hill across a little side street to what looked like more grass. DO NOT GO DOWN THE HILL!!! My dog came out of there full of burrs!!! We spent the rest of the night and morning pulling burrs out of his hair. Ugh!!! My husband drove around looking for grass...no luck. O... Read more

We were tired and had been on the road all day. After searching online for hours while my husband drove we booked a room online due to many hotels in the area were booked. When I entered the lobby to check on. No one was there. After a 3 to 4 minute wait. Someone comes around the corner with cup of coffee In hand, had Laquinta tag on, I said "hello" got a brief silent response of " will be with you shortly " no eye contact and she peers into a backroom. "Her name is Holly" finally after look... Read more

This hotel was one of the more affordable ones for a weekend trip. The room was cute, but we found two hairs on our bed and one in the bathtub. The Wi-Fi worked well and the hotel was nice and quiet. The bed was very comfortable!! The ceilings were made of concrete, so we didn't hear the people above us, which was nice. The entrance to the hotel is a bit confusing, but not terribly bad. One thing that did bother me was that they advertise free breakfast from 7-10, but the food was put away by 9!... Read more

Room is clean, nothing fancy. Continental breakfast. Good for a vacation stay. Room ha cable TV, fridge, and microwave. One thing I really like about this hotel is that it is very close to downtown Santa Fe. Just 5 minutes uses and I'm at the plaza.

We had a downstairs room and it seemed to have been recently updated. The staff was friendly and helpful on check in and check out. My only complaint would be that the dog area was limited to a gravelly area off of the parking lot. The only other places to walk our dogs were a shopping mall parking lot and a dirt field. We did find some dried grass nearby, but then a snake showed up. Luckily, a dog park was a few miles away.

I travel frequently to Santa Fe and I travel with my pet. I really like Laquintas because most are very pet friendly. My last six trips I have stayed at other hotels but I thought I would give them another chance. My issue is mostly with the staff. I think they have scraped the bottom of the barrel in who they employ here. The girl who checked us in has the personality of a rock and obviously hates her job. She could not smile to save her life and has absolutely no training in the hospital... Read more

Always great service. John is thorough and very nice. The rooms aren't always the cleanest rooms but John makes up for it. I will book again. I appreciate being able to bring my dogs at no charge. I have labs and they are very well behaved and never cause any trouble. Thank you for your service.

We had a very clean room...but this LQ is OLD. The staff is friendly. However, either come through &upgrade bathrooms (costly) and light fixtures or build a new one to compete with what else is available in this major tourist market. Why did we choose to stay here---YEA FOR REWARD POINTS! Anytime I can save $$$ on vacation, I'm all about that!!

As always, The LaQuinta Inn and Suites was very comfortable. It is centrally located for your Santa Fe visit. The motel has a nice outside swimming pool. The serve an adequate breakfast and we found the room and beds very comfortable. The best part for us is that LaQuinta Inns ???are always pet friendly. While many motels allow pets, they do not allow you to leave your pets in your room. LaQuinta takes your cell phone number and will call you if your pet is causing a problem if left in the room... Have stayed at this motel several times in the past. Although there has been an effort to upgrade the interiors of the rooms and common area, the building is sowing signs of age. Stair wells have rusted steel showing and deteriorating concrete. The landscaping appears to be well taken care of but the gravel sot where trucks and such is dusty and unattractive, it appears that the restaurant next door is closed, but there is an Applebee's next to that which offered a good menu within easy walk. Had a nice stay. Nice staff and efficient. Just needs to have more sitting for breakfast and a better breakfast for a place as big as this. Would stay again and close to a lot of shops. Another down fall is trying to get out of the parking lot, a little tricky.

The parking was very limited, I called the front desk a few times and they never answered so I went to the front desk and the employee was arguing with a customer on the phone and was rude to me. The breakfast offered was not good at all. My advise is to go to Mcdonalds, way better.
