First thought: Wi-Fi went from extremely slow, in the B/s realm, to completely off. Extremely frustrating. Second thought: The shower has a severe design flaw. It has a partition with a glass door separating it from the rest of the bathroom. The glass door is on the half of the partition farthest from the shower head and its controls. Hotel showers have their initial water temperature set at cold. You must adjust the temperature by adding hot water to your comfort point. Here, you open the ... Read more

While visiting family, we always chose to stay at this Homewood Suites because it's like home-away-from home. The staff are always so friendly, professional, and there to assist you to make you feel welcomed. We also find it very reasonably priced, considering that you get a daily breakfast, and during the week, a food reception at night. We would highly recommend it as it is close to other cities, ie Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Espanola, Taos...and easy driving. There is also adequate entertainme... Read more

Starting from welcome to send off, we had a great time. John (hotel receptionist) the way he welcomed us, provided information about things to do in the city and things for my daughter is really amazing. Also I got a IBUProfen in the midnight. House maintenance team cleaned the room neatly and covered my daughter's bed with her throw, my daughter was excited and happy. This stay in this hotel made our trip more memorable, I'll surely stay again and recommend this place for family.

We had a group of just over 25 couples who were in Santa Fe for the week of golf at Towa golf course. Unfortunately on the first day of golf, one of our group died of a heart attack on the golf course. The staff at Homewood Suites and the golf course couldn't have been nicer or more compassionate. They helped by providing space for a group meeting, moved rooms for some, helped in finding the right people to call for arrangements, and just were as kind and professional as they could be. This is a first class place with reasonable rates. The rooms are large and do not give you a feeling of being cramped. The bathrooms are huge. We stayed here due to a change in our itineraries because of the weather and I picked this site through Trip Advisor without checking its actual location. It was out of the way for us but sometimes the best choices are mistakes. Very helpful staff both at the desk and for the breakfast. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here for three nights and overall enjoyed our stay. Good things: great location and setting -- reasonably close to Bandelier and Abiquiu, about 15 north of downtown Santa Fe. Nice clean room with small kitchenette-- great if you wanted to make a little lunch or keep leftovers cold. Good breakfast-- better than what you might expect, plus on two of the nights we stayed they had a little dinner with a good salad bar and free beer and wine! Quietest room I ever had; breakfasts and evening social meals were excellent, and varied each day. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Fe itself; Homewood Suites is 20 minute drive north of Santa Fe. Would definitely stay here again when I find myself in Santa Fe area.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights leading up to the Santa Fe Thunder Half Marathon and 5k. This was our first time staying at a Homewood Suites property. We chose it because of it's location at the finish line / bus pickup for transportation to the start line at Fort Marcy in Santa Fe. We were very happy with everything about our stay. Nice accomodations, friendly staff. We would stay again when in the Santa Fe area. The Buffalo Thunder Casino was celebrating its 8th anniversary Saturd... Read more

Associated with a big casino, the facility is separate and quiet with many amenities. Our king suite was in a "casita" separate from the larger main hotel (not casino) building, and very comfortable. Things like USB power outlets by the bed, free light suppers Mon-Thu, etc. made it special. Please note however that it is around 10 miles from downtown Santa Fe, an annoying discovery when we first arrived. Ultimately we decided the comfort was worth it...

We spent 7 nights here and this is a great hotel. It's about 15 minutes north of Santa Fe, so it's convenient for side trips to Taos and other areas. It's quick and easy to get into Santa Fe, and of course, after a few days, we learned the shortcuts! I can't say enough about the staff at this hotel - especially Orlando! He came to our rescue a couple of times during the week and always with a smile and a desire to do more. The ladies who prepared the breakfast and evening meal were professi... Read more

The Homewood Suites is a great choice if you want a location from which to see not just Santa Fe, but also some of the surrounding areas, like Abiquiu, Ghost Ranch, Bandelier National Monument, Los Alamos and Chimayo. It's a 15-minute drive to the Santa Fe plaza, but you're also 15 minutes closer to other destinations to the north. The spacious grounds are shared with the Hilton Buffalo Thunder, along with its golf course and casino, and the whole complex is especially attractive. Our suite w... Read more

TV in master room kept popping and turning off and you had to turn it off and on over and over to get it to work. Volume control issue and closed caption on remote wouldn't go off as remote not in good working order. A towel was left behind the door that someone else had used in the master bathroom. The curtains in both the master and living area were not adequately working to close and give privacy.

I've had prior experience with Homewood Suites and it is generally good. This hotel was no exception. Conveniently located just north of Santa Fe it provided a good base for traveling to Santa Fe, Taos, Bandelier, and other points north. Gabriel's and Tesuque Village Market are two nearby restaurants worth trying. There's also a walkable Casino if interested.

This site is located in the desert about a 20 minute drive north of Santa Fe. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast and a light dinner are provided Monday through Thursday. While breakfast is substantial, dinner can be quite light. Some of the rooms are in smaller buildings that are not directly connected to the main building. This site is walking distance to a more comprehensive Hilton complex. I recommend this Homewood Suites if you don't mind being outside of Santa Fe.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the stay for the price we paid. The staff is wonderful and welcoming and the rooms are huge and well appointed. We were able to use the common lobby area for our group gathering which helped a lot and made our group stay successful.

My wife and I spent a week here in September and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thought it might be too far outside the city but it was perfect. In a beautiful setting, very close to plenty of hikes, and only 15 minutes from Santa Fe Plaza and other shopping. Breakfast was nice, rooms were large and very comfortable. Staff were polite and very helpful. No issues at all and would certainly recommend.

We stayed here for five nights and were in one of the separate buildings. The room was nice and the housekeeping service was great. However, the room could use some updating. The carpet was worn and the closet door would not stay on the track. The hot breakfast had a variety to choose from and the evening reception was an added treat.

This place is a nice location as far as views of the area. It is situated on top of a hill, and one can see outstanding views of mesas and mountains from the hotel. Beautiful. We stayed in a one bedroom casita, and appreciated the location from the main motel because it was quiet. The hotel staff was mostly helpful, and there was only one occasion when we felt that the staff was lacking in customer support. What a great deal on a NICE Santa Fe room! We usually stay near the Plaza when visiting Santa Fe but decided to stay out of town this time. The Homewood suites are part of a larger Hilton complex that includes their hotel and casino - it's barely a 15 minute drive to the Plaza and we loved the tranquility. Our room was a studio king, and larger than the average - we liked it better than a one bedroom suite we had on our last stay. It was on the top (ie second) floor of a casita building, with w... The studio unit was very clean and roomy, with a nice sitting area, a small dining table with two chairs, and a small kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable. October 22, 2016 - After a short drive from Taos, we arrived at Homewood Suites for two nights. At first, it was a little confusing because, Homewood Suites sits to the right and a little behind the Hilton Casino Hotel and that is where I first went to check in for our two nights. We arrived around 5:00 pm after a long drive from Denver and it was so nice to go right to the nightly social and have a glass of wine with an appetizer. Breakfasts are really good as well. My wife and I needed a long weekend getaway and Santa Fe fit our bill. For whatever reason, hotels in Santa Fe proper were hard to come by.
