Hotel is in need of some repairs & updates. Maid didn't clean the sink or wipe soap scum off of shower wall. We stayed in room 203. The hallways are also looking worn. Popcorn ceiling scuff marks. You can hear street noise and the old Motel 6 next door makes the property look more run down.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, as we had never been in Santa Fe before. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Hopefully the road construction will be done by summer, as we had to drive through this every time we wanted to go into Old Town. The staff was very accommodating with our requests. Were there for two nights.

We had a very good stay at the Holiday Inn express. Our room was very clean, neat and tidy and the temperature in our room felt great. Breakfast was very good and tasty. I really enjoy the pancakes. In the 100's hallway there was lots of noise from the exit door and the door coming from the stairs all night long. Other than that it was a great stay or I would have given a 5 star. Parking lot area in the rear of the building is super tight. I would stay again when in the area, just make sure I'm ... Read more

Not what I expected from H I E, but was acceptable during our road trip that included a stop to review what Santa Fe had to offer. Clean rooms but nothing to brag about. Close to plenty of eating establishments. Next trip to Santa Fe will be a longer stay and the cost will steer me to newer establishments closer to od town. Thanks.

Use to be a good place to stay but is getting run down and kinda dirty. Stayed there two to three times a year. Will not be staying there this fall. Staff is friendly and helpful. Elevator had spills all over the floor when we arrived and were still there when we left.

Great place to stay very clean and neat beds were comfortable and pool area was nice to relax at after a long car ride. Showed up was greeted by Steve who is the man. My girlfriend and I sat down near the kitchen area to watch the Western Conference Finals, game seven and he brought us over to the common area and turned on the flat screen where there were couches and it was much more relaxing and had a bigger TV. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was great and offered solid advice on ... Read more

We stayed at six Holiday Inn Express hotels on a recent NM trip. This one was below average compared to the other five The dining area is small, the property seems dated, and we had repeated problems with the wi-fi. However, the pricing was reasonable for Santa Fe. Note that it's about five miles to the center of Santa Fe.

Stopped here on our way north and was surprised that HIX had this old of hotel still in operation. People were very nice but the place is an original. Rooms are the same and I'm afraid the beds felt like it too. Pillows are worthless but I have to say it was quiet.

A bit subpar for holiday inn. The pool is terrible, sometimes there's no start to pick up the phone or at the main desk. The rims are fairly clean at least, though I did find a butter wrapper from a previous tenet on the ground. Overall, not as good as other holiday inns.

The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly, and was reasonably priced. Had a heated pool, the rooms were nice and clean but you could tell it was an old hotel at some points. Some things were renovated but the doors were still old. Not really a big deal though. Had free breakfast and free wifi but the wifi was sometimes weird and unstable. I recommend this hotel if you in this area and this price range.

Room 322 is facing the main street and all I could hear was loud music from cars. It's easy to hear other people in the halls too. The beds are comfortable. Price was fair. The room was cozy and clean. Didn't have time to visit the pool. Passed on generic breakfast.

Stayed here for a business trip. Close to downtown restaurants and shopping. Overall very quiet, the a/c fan was noisy. Bed was a little hard for my liking, but my husband liked it. Swimming pool is small. We didn't have breakfast, but for being a hotel the coffee was actually pretty decent. Shower water pressure was amazing.

Same as every other HIE. Kids love the pool and breakfast, clean, quiet, super friendly staff. Pool is small and could have been a bit cleaner, but everything else was great. About 20 minute drive south from old town Santa Fe, which is definitely a drawback.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at this property. The parking lot can get a little tight, especially when inconsiderate motorcyclists decide to use 6 spaces for 6 bikes. Fortunately they were only there one night. The remaining nights, we were able to park a little easier, but it was still a little tight at times. As for the room, there are hints that this property is a little aged. Our door would not close properly without a decent slam and even then, you couldn't lock the deadbolt and we relied ... Read more

Great service and accommodations, as can be expected from a Holiday Inn Express. Only complaint would be that the mattresses were a little harder than I would prefer. After long days of exploring the city, we didn't mind though. Best part - The always decent free breakfast.

We spend 3 nights at this hotel. Old property and doesn't meet the holiday chain standards. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. There were no mirrors in all the room, just a little one in the bathroom. No closet, just open space. Fitness room below average. No water cups, looks like no maintenance at all. Also wifi not the best.

I don't know, seems like Santa Fe has gone down hill. Not very clean area. Room was gross. Just had that sticky feel. There was a stain on the pillow, i had taken pictures to post earlier but cleaned out my phone. Should always go with your gut feeling, if you are driving through an area that looks dingey, good chance the hotel will be the same.. So keep going.

The room was spacious and clean. The public areas were clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was as always in a Holiday Inn Express. No surprises. The staff in the front-office and the restaurant was friendly and helpful.

Repeat visitor. Overall quality of cleanliness of overall facility has declined; i.e. elevator grates filthy; quality of room declined - furniture "tired"; functional refrigerator, but missing freezer door so freezer not functional; exercise room had no way to clean equipment before or after use - informed staff, but no concern, only excuses, when approached; room keys not operational 2nd day as upon check-in, only put in 1 day - check-in lacked attention to detail. Still a good bargain and ove... Read more

Hey, the electricity stayed on! Half of New Mexico lost power because of a lightning strike on a substation, but this place stayed up. There was a Corvette meetup in Santa Fe, so had a few motorheads staying. They were pleasant. Also, some Mexican Harley Davidson riders on way to Sturgiss SD for summer bash. They were nice, too. Room was comfortable, if a bit smaller than some Holiday Inn Expresses. Window opened a bit (6") which made my wife happy. The hotel is on the "hotel strip" off I-... Read more

I stayed here over a month on a business trip in April/May 2016. The staff was fantastic. The room was comfortable and housekeeping did a great job keeping it clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet had good choices of hot and cold foods. The business office was nice. The workout facility was nice and I used it a lot. The pool was being cleaned so I never had the opportunity to use it. The internet is quite slow at night. The facility offers washer/dryer self service, which ... Read more

With a companion, I stayed over a weekend. The room was clean. The shower surround was adequate but the adhesion to the existing tub was spotty. Every footstep in a certain spot resulted the sound of the surround snapping out of shape. Front desk staff was helpful recommending restaurants and events to attend. The bed was comfortable. The linens were adequate. Breakfast options were standard. Overall, the hotel is adequate.

Great nights rest with free breakfast. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very clean and free of any crazy smells as are typical in hotels. Parking is a little sparse but is sufficient as long as you don't travel with multiple vehicles per room.

This hotel does not meet the standard of Holiday Inn Express. Of most of the hotels on Cerrillos - a long strip of hotels - this one had one of the poorest street presentations. Plainly said, it does not beckon guests with the promise of atmosphere, quality or comfort. If we had not had an advance reservation sight unseen, on a very heavily booked weekend, I would have looked for other options upon seeing the very unappealing street front because it says a lot about what you are going to find... Stayed here on business and booked last min. The property is just ok and on the low end rating for Holiday Inn Express. Kind of a musty smell in the hallways. The room I had was a king and the furniture is well worn and needs to be updated. Bed- not very comfortable and needed to be replaced.

We spent three nights here. The room was nice and clean. This is an older Holiday Inn, but they keep it up. I ate at breakfast bar a couple of mornings. It was clean and well stocked. The front desk personnel was very accommodating and pleasant.

This hotel was the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Needs to be knocked down and rebuilt! Husband had to go to CVS to buy lysol to spray in our room. We had came from Albuquerque's balloon festival, so a lot of the hotels were booked full and we couldn't change hotels. I'm not a Princess but I like to be treated like one!

Awful hotel. Property is tired, old. I regularly stay at Holiday Inn Express, but this one is more Clarion level or below. Actually, the motel six next door looks better. Issues 1. Carpet is old. 2. Lamp next to bed in 321 is about to fall apart. 3. Towel rod was leaning against the wall behind bathroom door. 4. Furniture is pealing the fake wood laminate 5. Most importantly, the refinished the bathtub. So the room smells like very strong paint or glue. It is 30 degrees out and we have the ... Read more
