This hotel is only a short walk to all the major old town things to see and do, and it's a better value than some of the other options nearby. It's also far enough away from the attractions that you retain some of the privacy you might want in a hotel. I preferred staying here over the nearby convention hotel for that reason.

My friends and I stayed at this beautiful hotel for one night. The concierge was incredibly helpful to everyone that walked by which really impressed me. The guy on the desk was really helpful, friendly and efficient. We had a great nights sleep here. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Our stay was excellent in some ways and mediocre in others. We found this Hilton uneven. Staff is fantastic; really, every staff we dealt with was terrific ‚?? from check-in through to the bar and the doorman. Things that were mediocre and could/should be improved to match our expectations of a Hilton: Towel racks; it‚??s unbelievable to have 1 hook for towels ‚?? really no place but the shower door to hang the hand towel. Pillows: those are the worst pillows in years. We asked for ‚??firm‚??... Read more

Although the Hilton is conviently located to the famous Santa Fe Plaza, they charge $20.00 per night to park your car! They advertise an attractive room rate to compete with other hotels then add this surcharge. Room we were assigned had not been cleaned when we were presented our key cards. Had to move to the other side of the building, furthest away from all the services, pool, resturant, bar etc. Positive we will not return to this hotel and pay extra for parking. Who stays here that does NOT ... Read more

Close to plaza and great restaurants. The room was quiet and comfortable, furnished with ample seating in addition to the comfy king bed. The bar has been recently remodeled, had some awesome margaritas and was a fun place to hang out before venturing out for dinner.

But it was a great location. Room was dark but bed was very comfortable. Couldn't really open drapes because cars were parked right outside our window, like a motel. Desk saff seemed to be clueless college kids.

The Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza is where we choose each time we visit Santa Fe. Why? We feel at home as soon as we enter; the staff is so friendly and helpful. The hotel is just a couple of blocks from the square; it's convenient but at the same time, quiet. The Hilton Santa Fe has done some excellent updates to the facility which are great. It will be our choice when we return.

I loved being so close to the shopping and restaurants. I also appreciated the comfortable bed and pillows. I usually don't sleep well in hotels, but this trip was an exception. The room was clean and quiet--I will definitely stay there again!

The hotel staff was friendly. The rooms were nice except that the way they designed the sliding door to the restroom leaves a 1-2" gap so the bathroom door is never really closed. The parking is $20 per night, which I did not know about until pulling into their parking lot.

My wife and I live in Albuquerque, NM, and stay at the Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza about every 3 months to get away. This is a very nice property, and in a perfect location to visit the plaza in Santa Fe. It is literally steps from San Francisco Ave which is lined with shops and restaurants, and leads directly to the plaza. The hotel has refurbished their bar and restaurant, and it is very stylish. It also has excellent breakfast and dinner food, so we often eat there. We have always gott... Read more

The hotel has wonderful styling and service desk was very friendly! Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was very modern and spacious. The room itself was spacious and very clean. However, there were issues with the room itself - the access to the pool from the room was broken so the sliding door was sealed shut; however, there was access to the pool area 2 rooms away so not a problem. Since check-in took so long once served and the access was broken, received comps of free parking, key to t... Read more

Starting from the front desk where no one ever knew anything from the hotel to what's down on the next street. 1. I had ask for extra pillows before arriving which were not there. I called the front desk and was immediately out on hold. After 10 minutes I was told house keeping was gone and I would have to wait until tomorrow. Once the pillows were delivered the next say they took all the other pillows away. 2. We tried to go to the executive lounge which was suppose to be open from 5-7. At 5:... Read more

We continue to go back to the historic plaza for its location...proximity to the plaza and great places to eat. We were not aware we were going to Santa Fe when they were having a significant arts festival in the plaza so that was a real bonus for us. We were a little worried about our room as it was situated just off the lobby. What we experienced was a great stay...quiet! we also had access to the Executive Lounge which was well appointed. The rooms in this hotel were very nice. There was a sitting area with nice pillows. A very comfortable bed. The shower was large with a glass door. Everything was very clean and well appointed. We loved the location to the plaza. All we had to do was walk across the street and there were the shops and restaurants. The hotel concierge was very helpful with suggestions and directions. We will stay here again next time in Sante Fe.

I reserved the room on a blind deal on Hotwire, not necessarily a great deal but I do not feel like I was overcharged at least. I was given a room with the view of a wall and overlooking exit doors to the swimming pool. I was good I was not on this trip to see or spend my time at the hotel. :)

My room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff were friendly. I could easily walk everywhere I wanted/needed to go. Cons: the restaurant food is ok, not great. You should eat elsewhere. As someone else has already mentioned, it's a long walk from the rooms to the restaurant and the lobby so ask to be nearer to the lobby if that's a problem for you. Having said that I would stay here again.

This is always the first hotel we try to stay at when we come to Santa Fe. The rooms are comfortable. The hotel is pet friendly. The staff is warm and welcoming. The pool area, with a decent size pool, jacuzzi and fireplace, is great for children and adults. And our absolute favorite is location, location, location! It's a short walk to the plaza making it easy to walk around, check out a gallery or shop, and then head back to the hotel for a little downtime.

This Hilton properly is just wonderful! Whoever decorated this hotel did a wonderful job. The nod to its history is apparent. We arrived to find that we had been upgraded to a Casita. What a nice surprise. Thanks Hilton!! The bellman was very friendly and whispered in my ear- that is my favorite room in the whole hotel. Yeah! Walking distance from shops, restaurants, museums, churches, etc. Lacking some basic comforts that would have made it much nicer like an ice machine down the hall. Ice had to be requested by calling the front desk or getting it in frozen little bags at the "market pantry" in the lobby. They were out once and promised to have it sent up. Never showed up. We arrived prior to check in and were told if we waited the room we reserved (king bed) would be ready. Walked around for three hours only ... Read more

My room was not only tastefully furnished and spacious but it had a luxurious bathroom that I did not expect. It was located on the first floor and was perfectly air-conditioned and very quiet at all times. The big surprise was the quality of the food in the dining room and the interesting menu. I had the Santa Fe breakfast and it was beautifully presented and scrumptious to taste! The location is perfect for shopping and dining and I would recommend staying here. I shall return for sure!

This is a great location to stay in Santa Fe if yo want to walk the city. Very close to the square and lots of shops and restaurants. The self parking is easy and on a surface lot. Seems to be a big deal in Santa Fe as space is very limited. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms clean and well appointed.

Our flight was delayed so we arrived at our hotel much later than expected. Upon arrival, they offered to send up a complimentary bottle of champagne. When they delivered it, they also gave us a plate of chocolate covered strawberries. This ended up being dinner. The hotel was clean and comfortable...as is the case with most Hiltons. It's in a great location to walk around Santa Fe. I would definitely stay here again.

We booked our stay in Santa Fe Hilton at the Plaza last minute but booked for 3 nights. We checked in at 6:00 and unpacked, set the air at 68 and walked up to the plaza for the evening. We returned around 9:30 to a room still around 78 degrees. We thought the the air had frozen since we set it so low so we turned it off and went to bed and turned it back on around midnight. This was my first time visiting Santa Fe, and I wanted a stellar experience. Being a Diamond member, I was predisposed towards the Santa Fe Historic Plaza. However, reviews citing problems with A/C in rooms and negative feedback on the Executive Lounge had me conflicted. Nonetheless, I decided to go with the Hilton.
