I always heard that the Doubletree was one of the nicer hotels, so we decided to try this one on a recent trip. Frankly, the Hamptons that we stayed at were WAY better, and gave you free breakfast. Our room was clean and the the shower was decent, and the AC worked. Those are all good things, but I could have gotten that at a less expensive hotel. The famous cookies were quite tasty. The elevator was creaky and slow, and the hallways were dark. We had to ask for shampoo, as our room only had... Read more

The only reason we moved from the Doubletree to the Hilton in the Historic District was to be able to walk to the sites. Doubletree is a better hotel and certainly a better price. The staff, particularly Tara (manager) were outstanding. A great little bar; the room, a small suite, was terrific -- good bed, pillows, a nice seating area - terrific. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed 2 nights at the DoubleTree in Santa Fe for my son's College graduation. Well worth the price. Staff was very helpful and courteous. The rooms were very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The hotel was well within walking distance of the mall, and restaurants. And the complimenary cookies are AWESOME!!! They even gave us some for the road trip back home. I would highly recommend this hotel for future travelers.

We visit Santa Fe often and find ourselves always staying at the Double Tree. I am very fond of staying at Hilton properties as I always know what quality I will get and if I am not 100% satisfied they will take care of me. The Double Tree, while not in downtown Santa Fe, is very close to the mall and other great restaurants. Santa Fe is not a huge city and this hotel is a short drive to the downtown area where you would be paying three times as much for a hotel stay. The staff is always very... Read more

All expectations met on this visit in Santa Fe, NM Pleasent quiet rooms, good food at Breakfast and staff willing to serve. Close location to shopping and airport. Indoor/outdoor pool was being painted during my stay so did not get to use. Cookies were warm!

I had stayed at the Hilton in Santa Fe at Christmas and it was excellent but they were booked. So I ended up trying the Doubletree chains which I like very much. The hotel was excellent! Lobby and décor very nicely done. I used Honors points and stayed two nights and what a value. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Self parking. The staff was so friendly especially April who worked the guest check-in and Evan the Manager on duty. We were surprised to receive a complimentary drink and hors d'... Read more

Service was excellent. Only downside was lounge did not open until 5:00PM. The front desk personnel was very helpful when we asked about anything. Breakfast was buffet or order off of menu, we ate at both and enjoyed both. Would stay here again.

A cozy hotel located right off the main drag in Santa Fe. Despite being so close to a main street through the city, there was peace and quiet. Dinner at the bar and breakfast at the restaurant was exceptional.

Easy to find, Super friendly but not overbearing staff. Onsite Lounge was better then the average Hotel fare, Local flavor so and Beers were available. If I ever plan a trip to Santa Fe I'd happily stay here.

Enjoyed my stay. Dinner service was a little compromised because the bartender was also the waiter in the restaurant. All tables were dirt from previous guests. Bartender/waiter did well for our group of seven. Food was acceptable.

Michael was very accommodating the front desk. He welcomed us with warm cookies and bottles of water. He was very welcoming. He told us about our choices for diner. We had a handicapped room on the fourth floor. The room was small but had a balcony with two chairs and a table.

We dropped in to check on a room for a couple of nights and the gentleman at the desk was very helpful and friendly. He obliged us with a room, water and fresh baked cookies. Our room was clean, comfortable and best of all, we could walk out our sliding glass door to our car. The hotel is away from the downtown hustle and noise and located next to a shopping mall and restaurants. It was very convenient for us. Wifi is free if you are a Hilton Rewards Member, which we are.

The DoubleTree was conveniently located. We were close to the plaza and right off of a main street. There were shops and restaurants within walking distance if you want to leave the hotel, but it had a nice lounge and restaurant so after a busy day we didn't have to get out and drive anywhere for dinner. The meal was excellent and the service was outstanding. This is a great place to stay in Santa Fe, whether alone or with family.

We stayed two nights and were totally wowed by the staff here. They made this hotel feel like a big hacienda. Front desk always warm, helpful and efficient! Clay with engineering quickly replaced some light bulbs in our room upon arrival. He gave us local tips about the complementary shuttle. We used that to go into downtown. Driver's both ways were friendly and helpful with information. When traveling in a new place, helpful tips are like mental treasure! Having this professional help added a ... Read more

This stay exceeded my expections. The staff went above and beyond to make things right. We got off to a rocky start, but the hotel desk clerk gave us coupons for breakfast for two days. I was impressed that the hotel management gave the staff permission to make that call and do what was necessary to turn a bad impression around. When we check out, a different desk clerk asked how far we were driving. When we said we had a 3 hour drive ahead, she gave us two waters and two cookies!

There is no breakfast or free happy hour to be thankful for staying at that place. But clean and slept well. The location is great though. It was close I the rodeo grounds. The roundhouse was just a short drive. It is located by the mall and restaurant as well. Walking distance.

This Double Tree is under new management and was renovated in 2011. It is spotless and truly shines with new carpets, walls, immaculate and generous rooms, gracious and helpful staff, a fully equipped Fitness Center, an indoor/outdoor pool, and a fine restaurant.

The Doubletree by Hilton was a beautiful hotel. My room was clean and open, with exposed wooden beams and a wonderful air conditioner. The internet was accessible and easy. Breakfast was filling and not expensive. If you can, choose breakfast included. Great staff and great location, easy to access all of Santa Fe off Cerrillos Rd.

Beware the restaurant. Was out of several beers for a whole weekend. Order a Miller lite and bartender brings a Michelob Ultra because it says "Light Beer" on it. Floors in room had soft spots like you were going to fall through. Average hotel.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. It is close to downtown and there are several restaurants and stores close by the hotel. We did not eat at the hotel but did use the pool. The pool was an indoor/outdoor pool and the kids loved it.

We visited this DoubleTree on award points for a quick weekend family visit to Santa Fe. While it's not centrally located, it is in a quieter area that still includes some nice dining options nearby. Our service was friendly and on-par with other DoubleTrees in which I've stayed as a Hilton Diamond member. It is in need of a refresh, but is still clean and with nice amenities for a family. Our kids enjoyed the pool and everyone got a nice breakfast in the dining room each morning. While it took ... Read more

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights during the week of July 4th, and got a great value using points + cash. The location is probably the 2nd best possible in Santa Fe proper (not in the charming downtown area, but on Cerillos, near just about everything else you could need), and we particularly enjoyed watching the city's fireworks from our east-facing balcony. The outside looks a little unimpressive at first (it's red clay, like so much in Santa Fe, so we get it, but don't love it), but the insi... Read more

This chain hotel is a nice place to stay in Santa Fe if you don't want to be right in the middle of the old town (which we don't). It is convenient to get to and from. Near to groceries, local restaurants, a mall or two. The hotel itself has been updated from the old Holiday Inn it was. It has nice carpets, good Hilton room amenities (microwave, coffee maker, and small fridge in ours). The pool is small but is indoor outdoor. The hot tub is fine.
