I have not been to this hotel yet and I am totally impressed by their customer service! I called to ask information about an upcoming trip and they were so accommodating with information. Kudos to this hotel!! You only know what to ask and the lady was the best at informing me of all the nearby amenities. I will definitely keep you informed of the outcome of our stay but for now I am totally impressed with their customer service!!

Front desk was very nice. Once we walked in the room it smelled clean. Our room was even way earlier than check in time. Very impressed.

Our room was clean and smelled nice. The office staff made our check in and out very quick and pleasant. Location is very close to the shopping center and activities, and the property was nice and quiet and well lit. Good for a family vacation.

I guess maybe I'm just getting cranky with my frequent work travels. But I'm REALLY TIRED of hotels/motels advertising "free wifi," only to find out that there's one room in the whole place close enough to the router to actually get a signal, and that ain't the room you're booked in. If you're going to advertise that you have free wifi, my assumption is that it should work in ALL rooms. Routers are CHEAP. Either invest in them, or state on your website that your wifi is iffy at best so we tra... Read more

The hotel was very dirty outside and its an old property. The pool was small and very cold and spa was not working. Rooms had no iron or coffee pot. Dirty bed covers and carpets were sticky.

An older hotel that has signs of wear and tear, but the bed was very comfortable, room spacious, pleasant, and the front desk lady courteous and professional.

This property needs a lot of attention that it probably won't get. Pleasant people at the desk, but they concealed the fact that I would be charged for a wall safe I did not use and really didn't even notice. Refund came promptly when I got home and read over the bill. The exterior of the hotel has nasty, old tufted chairs and even a mattress in back that could only catch water and attract bugs. Wonderful new mattresses on the bed! A microwave and a fridge I didn't expect. No one up ther... Read more

OK place, nothing special about it. It did have a decent outdoor pool. The room was in average condition, but the exterior was in need of repairs. For the $$ spent it was OK. I probably wouldn't stay there again because there are so many places in Ruidoso to stay. A few of the motels just down the road were in much better shape & the prices were just a bit more.

I have a love / hate relationship with Ruidoso. Hotels costing around $100 and up on weekends. So I went on a Thursday and paid just over $50. I picked Travelodge because it has a pool / hot tub. Both were closed and appeared not maintained. When I asked at check out I was told that a huge rain storm caused the poor condition. The continental b-fast was a bit to basic. So we went to the Cornerstone Bakery about a half mile away-great place. King bed room is a bit small. Get a two queen room just... Read more

Nothing special about this hotel. Older property and it shows. No problems or issues, but nothing to wow a guest either, other than being in the mountains. :-) Breakfast area small with limited selection, but at least there is one. Friendly staff, quick check in and check out unlike some larger and newer hotels. Easy location to reach and convenient to shopping, dining, etc.

This hotel is right out of the Fifties! In such poor repair and very dated! The staff was hopeless! I ask for extra pillows and the front desk told me At 8:00 PM that this was the busiest time in the hotel industry! What ever that means. He was to busy to go and look so I thought I would give him an hour then call the front desk again but the line was busy after the electricity went off,.So I went down to the front desk only to see the desk clerk watching TV and sitting at one of the breakfast t... The people are friendly and courteous but the motel is old and in need of updates. They have safes in the room that they charge for (minimal fee) but the safes do NOT work!

The property is old but an effort has been made to update but sadly was short of thorough. Furniture, decor, bedding & light fixtures were mostly replaced. Tubs were patched haphazardly & tiles remain cracked & chipped Caulking not complete. Exteriors are worse with open spaces into walkway overhangs & trash laying all over. Office is a field of clutter & breakfast minimal at best with mini Half-thawed biscuits & honey buns the rule.

Very friendly, helpful front desk. Good (better than most) breakfast. Centrally located right on the line of Ruidoso, and Ruidoso Downs. Close (2.5 miles) to Apache casino on Highway 70. Rooms are neat and well cared for.

I would not eat breakfast as it place was not up to standard.

Overall, clean rooms and restrooms. Breakfast options were limited. the microwave in the breakfast area, did not work right. i tried to help an elderly gentleman use the microwave and was not able to assist him. Not all microwaves are created equal. Some simple operating instructions would be helpful. LOL.
