Unlike other reviews I would not say the rooms are large. As a matter of fact the 2 bed room is rather cramped. The room does have good lighting and it is quiet except when guests slam their doors. The bathroom is oddly laid out and rather acquired but the bath trowels are large and thick. We had room 100 and the TV was difficult to get on and off. Desk clerk said same problem occurred the day before. Perhaps the need to replace the controller. Getting to the breakfast buffet is a pain. It raine... Read more

We did not find anything unexpected and have no complaints, everything was operational the bed was comfortable, and room was clean. Breakfast was usual, no elevator for second floor rooms. I do not need a minimum of 200 characters to review this hotel.

The hotel was ok the bed were ok but the staff was horrible. When we checked out I ask for a receipt and was told they were out of paper they would email me one. I checked my email a few days later no receipt, so I called the girl said the girl that did their book work would do it. Well it's been close to a month still no receipt,so if you happen read your reviews we stayed March 27, 2016 and left March 28.

This is not a new hotel and is split between 2 buildings, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Theres no work out facility BUT there is an indoor pool. If you cont need 2 beds ask for a king size, the room was very spacious

Rooms were clean but the carpet in the halls are showing heavy ware. I was disappointed with the breakfast. I went in at 8 A.M. and the only thing there was the typical cereal, etc. breakfast. On earlier visits the breakfast was much better. As I was finishing my breakfast (08:15) they brought out the other items. It would have been nice if they set up earlier.

Travel hotels can take a beating, day after day, another tenant. I used to stay at Comfort Inns regularly but over the last couple of years have migrated to another brand. The lobby is in good shape but the halls and rooms are in need of a refresh. Charge a little more and refresh more often, applies to this stop.

I was a little disappointed in this hotel. The management was good, desk clerk was very helpful and made good recommendations as to where to eat. There was an indoor pool in a separate area of the hotel. This all sounds good, and it was, but the hotel has functional obsolescence. It is a long outdoor walk from the check-in building to the rooms and it felt like you were coming in the rear door. Breakfast was typical.

Although this hotel is right off I-40, there was no traffic noise. Room was clean and comfortable. While this property could use some upgrading, it was satisfactory for our needs. The faucet in the shower needed to be replaced. Breakfast was OK, though the scrambled eggs appeared to be reconstituted powdered eggs. Chose a waffle instead. There were two breakfast attendants, so tables were cleaned and supplies were replenished regularly. We were disappointed the pool and hot tub were closed... Read more

Very friendly clerk efficiently checked us in and warned us we were on the second floor. The bulk of this hotel is behind another business - with the parking fenced. The hotel and the room were a bit dated - but we had a comfortable bed, clean room, and plenty of hot water in the morning. Was a bit disappointed with the breakfast provided - but there are many restaurants nearby.

Bathroom not clean and beds were lumpy (and needed to be turned). Rather rundown, but quite out of the way, so that wasn't surprising. Pleased that we only had one night there. Will skip it next time and travel on to Albuquerque to find a place.

Wasn't as bad as i thought it would be according to reviews. Was actually Great!! Check in was fast and clerk knew her job well. Hallway could use a bit of cleaning but room was refreshing. Smelled clean and not a hair or crumb in sight! Bed was extremely comfortable. It was nice to relax with direct tv. Breakfast was the best part.

The one good thing is it has a bigger room compared to newer hotels. It is clean. But it needs improvement. Someone checked in above us at around 11:30 p.m and took a shower. We could hear loud swooshing of water in our bathroom for about 15 minutes. So apparantly I knew the person above us was taking a shower because I could hear it, it was that loud. We're staying at room 128 and the internet was struggling at 0.98-1.15 mbps. Other than that, the hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood close... Read more

This was a nice Hotel. It has an indoor swimming pool, and all of the machines (ice, washing etc), are located on the ground level floor. It is located in a very Small town, but it is overall a nice hotel The rooms are clean, and service was nice.

Nice hotel for an overnight stay. Don't let the bad comments fool you. The hotel is older, no elevator to the second floor. However it is in good condition and the staff is friendly. The eddy was comfortable. The refrigerator in our room didn't work, but it wasn't really needed. We let them know on check out so it could be fixed. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

The comfort inn went out of their way to accommodate us. I had tire problems and had to stay the night. They let me check in early where as holiday inn express would not. And I'm a platinum member of them. So I'm thankful for the comfort inn for going the extra mile for us.. The room was good and the front desk people were great.

We had planned to stay in Albuquerque, but the traffic kinda pushed us through town, so we ended up in Grants. This hotel was average. The personnel was friendly enough, but the room was just ok. The tub was old and stained. Wallpaper was peeling. There were spiders in the bathroom. We had to walk to a different building for breakfast. The card reader on the exterior door didn't work properly each time. They do have a washer and dryer, though, which we took advantage of (1.50 each).

One of the pluses for the motel is that there WIFI was secured. We have found that a lot of the Comfort Inns do not offer secured WIFI. At least this one had scrambled eggs for breakfast not frozen eggs that are rubbery.

The Good thing about this Property is the staff, they are very helpful and friendly, the Bad about this property is, it is a bit run down, I was given room 104 upon opening the door it reeked of Cigarette smoke, despite the no smoking in the room policy, It was so bad the front desk thought it was for a prior guest, I said no, this was so strong and in everything, you knew it was like that for some time. The smell was so bad it knocked me back, so I go to the desk they give me another room with... Read more

I stayed at this property last summer on a road trip and found it decent for the price so returned this summer while also on a road trip but wish I'd tried one of the other options nearby. This property is getting shabby. The bathroom - wallpaper needs to be replaced, tub stopper was completely pulled out by housekeeping which was weird, sink did not drain well, the door when opened completely blocked the sink access. The parking lot is weedy toward the back. Breakfast area faces east and almost... Read more

Very nice Comfort Inn, clean and comfortable. It also had a very well-stocked breakfast selection, with eggs and sausage as well as the standard toast, cereal and waffles. We had to be in Albuquerque around noon the following day, so this stay about an hour away from our destination worked very well for us, as we didn't need to rush to get there.

Room 200 is at the end, meaning it shares a wall with just one other room. There is no development behind the hotel, so there is an unobstructed view of the weather and distant freeway. Room was clean, but the hallway still smelled of cigarette smoke. One complaint: We were given the wi-fi password, but not told the user ID. When I tried to get online, a different looking login page popped up that seemed more like an advertisement. It required a user ID, which I did not have. I exited the page a... Read more

I've stayed here in the past and had a rather nice experience, not this time. After waiting at the counter for over five minutes while the front desk clerk typed on the computer, I was met with "What do you want?". And it went downhill from there. I have never in my life see such an unprofessional person working the front counter. This lady was extremely rude and unprofessional. Bed and bath were clean. Pillows were awful, dense foam. Bigger issue was maintenance. Bathroom outlet did not work, missing a light bulb, stained chair seats, carpet needed to be shampooed. The exterior door didn't lock unless you tugged it closed. On the plus side, fast and friendly check in and decent breakfast.

We often stay at Comfort Inns, but we won't be staying at this one again. Our room smelled strongly of smoke, even though this is a non-smoking property. The bathroom was a little funky, with a door that opened inward and blocked the sink. We were on the second floor (as we requested), but there was no elevator in the building. The breakfast room, which is in a separate building, had only four tables, so most people had to take their food back to their rooms. On the plus side, the bed was co... Read more

We were on our 2nd day of 15 hours behind the wheel to a race in Bakersfield CA traveling from New Jersey. Having a tow vehicle issue through our normal traveling procedures into chaos. So with no reservations we started calling around the Grants NM area. They only person to answer the phone at 1 am was Jarvis. He held two rooms without my CC for 45 minutes so our race team could get some sleep, shower up, and eat. You can be part of our team anytime ! Thanks again sir

This was your typical Comfort Inn. A definite step up from Quality. Clean and what you would expect. But, what made it exceptional was Jarvis. My husband has been working mornings on this long trip and needs to have internet access. We couldn't figure out how to get the internet connection. Jarvis was getting ready to get off his night shift but took the time to figure out what I was doing wrong. I had an automatic login set up which prevented the hotel network from logging in. Typical of the brand; clean and comfortable. The bathroom shower was a bit noisy but functional. Friendly staff and average breakfast bar. Easy on and off from I-40. Good price ($79), especially in comparison to the inflated rates offered by many of the brands that are convenient to the interstates.
