The staff went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. They were very friendly and made sure we knew about hotel amenities and the surrounding area. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and updated. Good breakfast buffet and a nice big area for the buffet.

We always try and stay at Hampton Inns when we travel and this one in Carlsbad was superb. We splurged a bit for an Executive sweet and were not disappointed. The room was very well appointed with a lot of work space. The room was very quiet and comfortable and the small bar area was a plus. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and answered all of our questions. Great place and a great stay.

We have stayed in dozens of hotels in this price range. This one was exceptional in several ways. The most outstanding thing was how courteous and friendly the staff was including the kitchen, reservation and housekeeping staff. They really went above and beyond to be sure we were happy. The room we stayed in was spotless and the bed and linens were great. I'm going to seek out more Hampton Inns with the hopes that they are all like this one.

Hampton Inn Carlsbad - room 320. I stayed here two nights. The rooms are quite nice with comfortable beds. The shower was amazing. The head was super high which is a big plus for me as I am 6 feet tall and normally have to bend to get under the water. The water was also hot so I enjoyed it immensely. All of the hotel staff I came in contact with (from the front desk to housekeeping to breakfast area) was friendly and courteous. My "roommates" woke me up early with their snoring so I took advan... It was my first time going by Hampton Inn. Upon landing in 3pm, the room was rea and clean. The Pool was open, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the spot. The staff was agreeable, and I appreciated the Regency Club. The additional charge was well justified, despite all the trouble.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a new hotel and kept nice and clean. We didn't spend much time in our room since we were out at the parks most of the time but the staff was nice and the hotel was clean. The free breakfast hit the spot and was very convenient for getting out and exploring quickly without worrying about where to get food. The location next to WalMart was also convenient in being able to restock on needed supplies. We got a suite which was very spacious. It had a separate kitchen ... Read more

We were met at the Front desk by Francie who was gracious and accommodating. Coffee, popcorn, lemonade, and warm cookies greeted the weary traveler. The guest rooms were clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delightful with a great potato dish, fresh fruit and plenty of other choices. We enjoyed a lovely evening walk around the Pecos River walk park before spending the following day at those magnificent Carlsbad Caverns.

My family experience was great. We have 4 boys ranging from 14 to 8. The adjoining rooms were a great way for our big family to enjoy their stay in Carlsbad NM. The breakfast worked out great as well since it saved us on one meal for the day. We would certainly do this again. In a town filled with poor hotels and restaurants, this Hampton Inn is a most welcome addition. Rooms are comfortable, the a/c is very good, and service was mostly good. The breakfast was good in selection and taste, but something was badly wrong with the staff. Food selections kept running out and there were very long waits for refills. Throughout the hotel, the carpet is worn out - it's past time for some renovation. Our room had a used razor on the floor under the wash basin stand. The dismal... Read more

This hotel was GREAT! I loved the appearance of the lobby. The popcorn and cookies they had for an evening snack was a huge hit with my kids. The breakfast was out of this world for a free breakfast. The Southwest Omelets were something you would get at a breakfast restaurant and the atmosphere was that of an actual restaurant. I wished all Hampton Inn's were like the Carlsbad. The beds were awesome and the rooms very spacious for a family of 5.
