After driving. 12 hours.we were looking forward to trying a new hotel at the end of our drive. The evening desk clerk was not very pleasant. The room did not have a microwave, or refrigerator and the TV would not work. We did not bother to see about a different room as the clerk was telling other guests that they only had a few rooms left. Very dissapoinoted. We may try Microsuite again, but will demand to see the room first. Roberta

The property was clean and the staff was very courteous, friendly and responsive. The walls are not very soundproof (we heard a baby crying early in the morning in the room next door). The elevator sounded like it has issues but got us where we needed to go.

I wanted a smoking room, but also a fridge. Was told that for a fridge, I needed to stay in a suite, so I had to choose. I picked having a fridge. Ended up costing almost 1-1/2 times what a regular room was. I could have endured the cost, if they had decent Internet. I'm very much into gaming and watching movies, and the Internet was mostly non-existent for the 2 days I was there, and when it was there, it was almost as slow as dial-up, and frequently would stop altogether.

What a great staff! Our church bus broke down on the interstate, outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico and the manager made arrangements to transport 20 of us to the motel! They staff when out of their way to help us. It is so refreshing that someone would that the time to go that extra mile, for us! Thank you so much. What a blessing to meet people as kind and caring as this staff! Mrs. JoAnna was great!

Two major issues: 1) Wyndham reservations stated a rate and said they were sending an email for confirmation. The email has never arrived but the address is proven correct by other means. This has occurred previously so it must not be a high priority for Wyndham to repair the issue. 2) The web page and the reservation desk gave me the same "total cost" for the room. There was no discussion of discounts. When we arrived the desk clerk said we were eligible for our AARP discount. When prese... Read more

Non-smoking room but the hallways reeked of cigarettes. Deadbolt on the door did not work. Turned if door was open, but didn't line up when door closed. Room not the cleanest but bed very comfortable. Coffee in am was so weak, I thought it was tea. Nice Asian man made a new pot and he was very kind and friendly. Real scrambled eggs were good. I suspect that I stayed in the same room (#312) that was noted an earlier review("A Little Sketchy") for a stay more than a week earlier. At the reception desk there is a sign explaining that there are both smoking and non-smoking on the third floor. I stated that I did not want to be around smoking rooms and was told that there are no single non-smoking rooms on the other floors. So I took the room assigned and the 3rd floor hallway wreaked of cigarette smoke; I could still smell it faintly ... Read more

It was also nice to get 20% off at Denny's right across from there too! The breakfast was good except no biscuts left. My only 2 gripes are: 1. everything was perfect, except for the smoke smell in the non-smoking room. I understand it used to be a smoking room. FYI, if you change rooms like that, to get rid of the smell; run an ozone machine in the room for a day or so until the smell is gone. If i had been my daughter-in-law, she would have thrown a fit that you put her in that room and would never have came back. It is bad manners/policy to do such a trick. It isn't right.

I think a corporation with the reputation of Wyndham (we're Worldmark members) should be careful what they put their name on. We booked on-line, were promised either a king or 2 doubles. Got there, got 1 double, changed rooms, got 2 doubles with no AC, changed rooms again, finally got it right, altho no frig. Place (hallways) smelled to high heaven of stale cigarettes. Shoddy. We've stayed in Microtels before so assumed they would all be quality. Not.
