Really looking forward for a nice get-a-way with my kids and decided to stay at this newly renovated hotel. All cheaply done, small rooms, thin walls, non-smoking room yet smelled smoke all night. My kids went swimming late in the evening into the night and there were several kids in the pool unsupervised and people hanging outside of their rooms smoking weed. I spoke to front desk and they took the complaint with a grain of salt, double-charged my room and I didn't receive a credit for two we... Read more

Great hotel and Waterpark!! My daughter had prom here so we all stayed the night and used the Waterpark. Great service, especially the friendly security guard Steve!! One suggestion I have is blocking off rooms all together for big events. I know there were a few noise complaints from the neighbors of the prom kids, which could have been avoided if we were all together.

Attended a conference here but not recommended for that purpose. If you have children, lots of fun, the smell of chlorine is in the air, however. Long hallways, parking is an odd set up, not the best venue for my purposes which is usually business travel.

I was passing through the area on a road trip across the country. I was stopping through ABQ so I decided to do the Priceline Name You Own Price thing. I entered in a cheap rate and was given this hotel. If you've ever used that tool before you'll know that you do not actually pick the hotel but Priceline chooses for you. After being given this hotel I was curious about it so I looked it up on here and was really worried and discouraged at all of horrible reviews. I even thought of throwing my m... Read more

Decided to take my kids to waterpark lets just say it wasn't even worth it! For $80 it was a rip off. The staff there are rude they don't even greet you there just staring at you with a mean stare and the lifeguards are rude as well. The swimming area was ok people were just shoving me and my kids around and the water was so cold couldn't even stand it. I will be letting people know about the experience I had and make sure to let people known that it's not even worth it. Never going back again!!... Read more

The waterpark itself is very small, not many slides for young children.. Our child was just under the height limit for big slides.. Paying premium prices for room, I feel the waterpark access should be included.. Ridiculous we should have to pay for 'dry' pass $20 just to watch our kids... The room itself was old, our sofa bed was not functioning, waited hours for a rollaway, so rather than a large bed, we had a small rollaway and an adult having to sleep on the old sofa.. Three point five stars!? Really? Avoid this place unless you are into an early 2000 remodel that is neither kept glued down (the wallpaper), nor clean in the corners (filthy hallways on the second floor). I will give them credit that things are visually attractive at the front desk. Problems start becoming evident with the scarred up elevator (banged up paint and buttons that don't light up.) It continues with the 'out of order' sign on the ladies room on the second floor. A walk down the hall r... Read more

We reserved a room as the grand kid wanted the water park. Arrived to check in and found out that the water park is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. We driver out of route for this and they failed to notify on the website of the closure. Everything attached to this place is over priced and OK in quality. Breakfast runs $15 per person or a basic eggs.. I do not recommend unless for the kids, and you want to pay three times the cost of just a water park.

You can also tell by the way it looked it was most definitely there for a long time. Don't even know where to begin. The customer service is terrible. Don't expect much help from the staff. The hotel is filthy. There were cigarette butts, leaves, and trash in the hallways. Breakfast there is a joke. Don't expect much from the 1 free breakfast you get. Our room keys quit working every day. We had to go to the front desk daily to reset the keys. Not that they cared. The wi-fi is anything but high speed. The Motel 6 would have been better.

Last time I stay at this hotel. I walked into horrible customer service and the hotel was not great at all. I found hairs in the shower when I walked in and no one even went to clean my shower after i called twice. Not a happy customer and this will be the last time I go.

We booked two adjoining rooms for two nights with a blended family over Labor Day weekend. I paid nearly $1000 for the rooms and water park passes. On the second night our children, two under 10 years old, were treated to blaring Tejano music until midnight from a neighboring ball room. Guest services offered no help whatsoever!

We arrived on a Friday and left on Sunday. Hotel looked more like a cheap hotel. Clerk at check in was rude and not helpful. Everything was dark. No fridge in the room Wifi never worked properly. I had to park around the back to get to my room, not well lit and kind of scary if u are walking alone w a child at night. On the bright side: my son really enjoyed the waterpark and the hotel is conveniently located. Walgreens is next door, biopark less than 15 minutes away but I will not stay her... Read more

So, I was pretty nervous after reading some of the reviews, and maybe my expectations are not super high, but we loved this hotel! Keep in mind, we brought 7 kids with us, so if you're looking for a hotel without a ton of children then obviously this one isn't for you. Yes it's an older not fancy hotel but we didn't care one bit! The staff was friendly, our rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked GREAT!! The water park was really fun! We will definitely be back! Great for famili... Read more

The hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean. My problem was the distance from the hotel lobby to the elevator and then to the guest rooms. It is a very long walk especially with heavy bags. So if you are impaired in any way, I would not recommend this hotel. Also the restaurant is only open for breakfast. There is food at the bar but not worth it.

The water park was by far the best part of this trip. It's fun, protected from the sun, and safe. They have multiple life guards and it is clean. My only complaint is that it is expensive. The hotel itself wasn't bad. The front staff was very friendly and the security staff was very diligent. Housekeeping was so diligent, they accidently came into our room while we were asleep. Make sure you remember to put out the do not disturb sign out. That being said, the rooms weren't exciting. They were v... Read more

Third time staying at the hotel, We love the convenience of everything you need is there. Grandson loved the waterpool with the basketball hoop at the waterpark. I liked the inside water pool and jacuzzi. Little disappointed with the waterpark rates and the schedule when you can use it (very confusing for someone that is on vacation). Room sofa needs cleaning. Friendly cleaning staff. Overall will be there next year.

We were there for a wedding that was at the hotel. We reserved a room & were very happy with it! The bed was a sleep number bed, the room was very nice with a view of the pool. One complaint I have is the restroom for the ballroom is out in the hall & it was full of teenage girls in their swimsuits & it was impossible to get to the stalls. There were wet towels all over the lace & the floor was very wet. You'd think that the water park & the ballroom would have separate restrooms.

We ended up not staying here because the tickets for the waterpark (additional $30+ per person) were not included in the hotel price! What a scam! Also my friend said her daughter worked at the waterpark and at times it is very dangerous and crowded, and she said she is surprised it's not shut down yet.

My family and I stayed here our last night in New Mexico. The kids loved it because of the water park. However, the admission price was not included with the hotel stay. At least offer a discount. Other than that, my husband and I enjoyed a little date night in their sports restaurant. We had a great time!

I wanted to have a stress free night out of town for a concert. I booked 3 room's. When I get there I find out that I needed 55 more for each room it was horrible because I hasn't worked that into my budget and spent 3 hrs trying to work it out on top of that they hold the 50 deposit on your card for 7 to 8 days. Also when I book the rooms at 90 it came out to 107 with tax and I was still charged tax. Won't be staying there again no matter how good the prices. Also the blond lady that was at the... Read more

Stayed for balloon fiesta $200+ for one night. Only one disposable coffee cup in room, no other cups or glasses, plastic or otherwise. Staff was nice and helpful. They have no onsite laundry. No literature or info in rooms. Not even any labeled buttons or info on telephone. No personality or character. I booked via Expedia and the reviews were better, otherwise I would have thought twice. Having said all that, it was decent, we were safe, nothing bad happened. Just a strange place with a ... Read more

I traveled to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta and stayed in this hotel which was overall an average stay. The rooms are advertised with a nice little balcony. It is a large Hotel The Fairly difficult to figure out where your room is. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. I only have two minor complaints. The first is housekeeping did not show until fairly late in the day. Having woken up very early for the Balloon Fiesta it would have been nice to have taken a nap by early afternoon but o... This was supposed to be a "4 star" hotel - It was dirty, the hotel elevator was filthy going up to our room, and then when we got INTO the room - there was pee on the toilet seat! The housekeeper didnt even clean the toilet after the last guest. GROSS. So gross. I sucked it up and we just went to bed. Before doing so I turned up the heater because they had it set at 60 degrees. Well, I woke up around 4 am and the ENTIRE room smelled like there was something dead in there. My son and I immediatel... Read more
