I stayed at this Holiday Inn for more than 40 days. I was in Albuquerque to spend time with a friend in hospital there. The hotel shuttle took me to the hospital every day and came to pick me up again. Every one of the employees has tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible and they succeeded. Thank you all ! I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I return.

Checking in, I was fortunate to meet a five Star concierge with an authentic smile, personaility plus and beyond the expectations one has for service at this location. This lady was consistent through out my Four day visit. Questions, she has the answers. Service of all descriptions, she has the solutions. Five Stars. Well done Janena Mc! Also, Kudos to the manager Angelica Tena, I am sure her leadership was in part making the above events a reality. Jude Romero, evenings and weekend ... Read more

My only complaint is that the front desk was understaffed for check in. I waited five minutes while the one staff member worked with a customer and just as I was next in line another staff member came to help. My luck! Room was spacious, clean and well appointed. TV was high quality with an adequate list of channels. Towels and linens were clean and fresh. Actually - one other complaint - I always request a top floor when reserving a room or checking in ... and I was not given one. So I h... Read more

We arrived in Albuquerque late in the day and had booked this hotel because of our previous positive stays at other Holiday Inn Express hotels. This particular hotel could not have been more convenient for us. It was a couple of miles from the airport but still close enough for quick drives to all the places we wanted to go. Since we were planning to drive south to Carlsbad the next morning, we were also very close to the interstate for easy access. There are several chain restaurants nearby (Ap... Read more

Really not fair advertising, this is not a hotel for sleeping before an early morning flight. It is used for parties and large groups of kids that run unsupervised through halls. The room ac is super noisy, the bathrooms old and dirty, with so many choices just a close, chose another hotel.

We stayed here because it's close to the airport and our flight got in late. The room was quiet and comfortable but nothing special. The bathroom could use an update. The breakfast was not very good. Fake omelettes with some inedible cheese oozing out. The place is fine if you need to be near the airport.

Joe Torres, Manager, was extremely nice in correcting a booking error I made. We checked in during rush hour and he took the time to make sure everything was corrected to my satisfaction. Even though I was the one that made the error. This hotel has recently been renovated and is nicely appointed. Our room was comfy and clean with all the expected amenities! Maid service was extremely quiet so we were able to sleep in without being rudely awakened to trundling carts, vacuuming and sla... Read more

This was an awesome stay at the hotel. Check in was flawless and was able to get us to room with no problems. The room was updated with flatscreen TV's and a spacious shower. We were close to University of New Mexico stadium 7mins away. They serve breakfast in the morning and well kept and room service was great. Overall, I would stay at this hotel in the future.

We had a flight that arrived very late so decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Express at the Albuquerque airport. They provide a 24-hour shuttle service and upon arrival we called and the shuttle was at the Sunport within five minutes for the short drive to the hotel. The property is about ten years old and appears to be well maintained and clean. My wife was a bit hungry when we showed up around midnight and we weren't up for dragging out to a restaurant. The manager very kindly provided som... Read more

Needed an airport hotel and fount the Holiday Inn Express in Albuquerque to deliver upon the expectations of a Holiday Inn Express stay. Basic and clean room. Very good breakfast. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful - answering questions about restaurant options and where I could purchase a forgotten item.

We stayed two nights in this location, one on the way in for vacation and one on the way out. We took their shuttle to/from the hotel and to/from the car rental location. The shuttle service was excellent and on-time all 4 trips we used it. The room the first night was on the 3rd floor and was clean, smelled neutral (as in no stink and no pungent air freshers to disguise anything, all good in my book) and the beds were comfy. The room on the 2nd night has been upgraded to a suite in the basement... Read more

We stopped here on our way to California after driving 10 hours. The hotel itself is very clean with great rooms. Check-in was a pain though. We had our reservation, but when we went to the room, someone was in there. Our credit card had already been swiped to that room number for incidentals which made us uncomfortable. We were moved to a different room, but it took over 45 minutes to get it sorted and the ladies behind the desk were bickering over who messed all this up, how could this happen,... Read more

"Jude" was the manager (August 2016) and he helped arrange everything we needed. He got us a hotel van to pick us up from the rental car place (after dropping off our rental) late at night, and arranged for the van to take us right to the Delta gate in the morning. He recommended "Cervates," the restaurant, when we asked for a restaurant nearby with sopapillas. The room was large and clean and QUIET. WE had a great time. Thank you.

After having spent two weeks in Taos and Santa Fe, in some fairly upscale hotels, we decided to spend the night in Albuquerque to catch an early-morning flight the next day. We were not prepared for what a nice, clean, up-to-date and reasonably priced facility we would find at the Airport Holiday Inn Express. For less than 1/3 the price of the hotel in Santa Fe, we had a room with about 3-times the space ... and it was really nice. We were so happy, we decided to always check availability of Hol... Property is pretty new and very clean. Staff are attentive and helpful. Breakfast was a nice array of hot and cold items and all set up early and replenished often. Booked three rooms (business travel). Will definitely be staying here again when in this area. Nicely done!!!

No frills convenient hotel for an early morning flight. We returned our rental car at 10:00 pm the night before the flight and called the hotel shuttle to pick us up. They came right away to pick us up from the rental car return. We got on the 4:30 am shuttle and were at the airport within 7 minutes. Hotel even had cold food and coffee available to take that early in the morning. Rooms were decent and clean. Indoor pool was not inviting at all though.

We had an early flight and wanted to stay near the airport and the rental car return this hotel was within 3 minutes of the rental car return .Beautiful Lobby actually has a bar and restaurant which was nice in a hotel at this price point. the room was clean, the bathroom did not have a bathtub but a tucked away cave-like shower, that was only part that was a little different. The kids liked the swimming pool it was warm and the hot tub was hot although at 8 p.m. there were no more towels at t... Read more

I went to this place because of reviews on Trip Advisor. As of 9.15.16, it's just as they said: a great place for a short stay. I had only a few hours between picking up my rental car and hitting the road the next morning, but the room was nicely clean and the bed really comfortable. It was a better room than I expected, and getting in and out was easy. Make sure you know EXACTLY how to drive here from the airport. It took me two passes through Hotel Row!

Since my reviews of this property in 2011 & 2012, we have stayed here Sept 2013 and Sept 2016. In 2013 our bed was sloped to the center, and again in Sept 2016, our bed was sunken in the center. Our King Suite room had only a modest sized TV (32"-34")? The TV channel list had 90 to 100 channels, but we could not find FOX News listed ! ! For such a large room, it had a small work table, but we did have fast internet service.

We stayed here the night before we had to catch a very early flight back to LA. The room was comfortable as was the bed. We didn't have time to enjoy the property or breakfast since our flight was so early. The hotel picked us up at the car rental return and got us to the airport with time to spare. I would stay here again.

This was a great hotel for visiting Albuquerque on the weekends. Easy access to Old Town and to I 25 to go to the Sandia Tramway. There is also a nice casino on the tramway road just off of I 25. Breakfast was included and because of the time of the year and low vacancy rates the buffet wasn't available so we got $10 each off the regular breakfast meals which were about $8 to $11. So you basically paid for your coffee. The meals were very good. We had the two eggs meat and side. For some reason... Read more
