This Hilton Garden Inn is in the Uptown area of Albuquerque, NM. This area is unique for shopping, and dining. Some areas are still under development, but what is already completed is trendy and convenient.

Hilton Garden Inn is my go to hotel when traveling for business and decided to try it during a recent leisure trip. While the lobby and restaraunt areas were consistent with expectations the room itself was fairly run down and not as expected.

I arrived in Albuquerque on 5/1/16 and was greeted by the front desk staff immediately. Everyone was very friendly and reminded me that if anything was amiss with my stay to let them know and they would make it right. The room was well appointed and there was bottled water for me in the mini fridge. I stayed for breakfast the next morning and the staff at the restaurant was very attentive and detail oriented. I have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed my stay, but this time I explored what they had to offer. I did not feel like leaving for dinner, so I decided to go to the downstairs bar. This place was busier than I expected, so I knew it would be good. Only one person working, but she handled all the customers quickly. My beer was never empty for very long. If you are headed to Albuquerque stay at the Hilton Gardens on Americas Way right off I-40. Easy to get to, clean, safe, great food close by or at the hotel. We stayed there twice and both visits were excellent.

Nice hotel located in a convenient area of Albuquerque. Right off I-40, just a few miles east of I-25. Many great off site restaurants near by and lots of shopping. Nice adjustable beds, great shower. Did not use restaurant or pool area so cannot comment. Housekeeping staff took very good care of us. Nice to have access to business area. My only minimal complaint- position of lights made some areas of room dark.

I can not say enough about the wonderful employs at this hotel, From the front desk, to the house keepers, and even the maintenance crew. From the moment I called to inform them about my unique check-in time to the front desk greeting me by name when I walked in, I received the FIRST CLASS service that Hilton used to be known for and it blew me away. This experience has convinced me to try Hilton again. It used to be my favorite hotel brand in the 80's and 90's and I have missed their stellar hospitality. The hotel was pristine. Decided to stay at this hotel after driving from Michigan nonstop (that's 20 hours) with a destination of Phoenix AZ. The only reason I picked this hotel and chose to spend alittle more money than I wanted was because of the waterslide in the pool area. So you can imagine my disappointment (and my 10 yr olds) when the slide broke down at 7:10pm after he went down 1 time! I really like Hilton Garden Inns. They do it right! That being said, our room faced the freeway which was very noisy with semis and such being heard at any time of the day. The only thing that probably saved this room was that the a/c blower was on 24/7 even though it was on automatic. That blower was loud enough to muffle the traffic noise somewhat so you can sleep. May be that was intentional??! My recommendation would be to ask for a room facing the parking lot. One more negative: the beds h... Read more

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn recently for business. The first night I was on the freeway side, 2nd floor, VERY NOISY room. I asked to be moved and was put in a 2-bedroom suite, which was nice but still on the freeway side. The noise was not as bad because I was on the 6th floor, but still noticeable. Everything else was average - bed was not terrible, but not real comfortable either. Also room service choices are very limited - no breakfast!

This hotel is very well located next to shopping, restaurants, and access to the rest of Albuquerque. The property is long overdue for an update, the carpet is dirty to very dirty in the hallways and in the rooms, very disappointing for a hotel of this category. Otherwise the room was clean. For the rate being charged, you can find something better than this mediocre Hilton Garden Inn. Breakfast is also mediocre and not included.

This is well located along I-40 right near Louisana cross-street. A typical Hilton Garden Inn with multiple floors. Just make sure to get a room on the west side (which is the side opposite I-40 and faces the parking lot for the hotel. Bucca di Peppo is right next store if you want to walk to a restaurant. I was putting on my make-up and had the door open in the bathroom and could still hear the motorcycles rumbling. That coupled with the ventilation system, that when it would start it was sounded like it was a misaligned fan followed by loud noise from the blower.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel which is an easy walk from many great shops and restaurants. The hotel is clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The mid-week reception was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely stay here whenever I am in Albuquerque.

Incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly staff!!!!! Very clean rooms, well appointed as you would expect from a Hilton!!! I LOVED their breakfast, and my family enjoyed the water slide for the kids. All in all a great hotel very central and close to everything.

Booked a room for one night during balloon fiesta weekend. I requested a room on the north side because the South side overlooks the freeway and i read it could be noisy at night, but the receptionist said there were no rooms available and that Hilton Inn members had priority on requests. Even though our 6th floor room overlooked the freeway, it was not that bad. The ac noise muffled any traffic noise. The lobby and halkways were clean and attractive. The hotel decor was modern and colorful. Th... Read more

This is a nice property, clean, with good service. The staff was friendly and helpful. Disappointed with the Galley(food) selections--only ordered from there in a pinch. However, didn't really expect much. As usual, the limited bar choices were outrageously priced, as was the water---3.50 !!! Don't rely on the laundry service--when I checked on mine after 2 days, found it had never been picked up!! oh well!! Staff was apologetic and very concerned. Nice people.

Great staff! Clean, quiet, and super comfortable beds. You are able to adjust the softness and firmness of the beds. Great location for food and shopping! All rooms smell great because the hotel is non smoking!

I attended a 4 day class here. The hotel itself was excellent. Wait staff-amazing, Rooms were good sized and immaculate. Good views of the city. Small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Restaurant was a little pricey, but the portions were large. Pool area and whirlpool -clean and comfortable. The room for the classes were small-no windows, and if there was a class next door it was hard to hear,

This place was great, the room was very clean, Next to the Interstate Highway, But didn't hear a single vehicle passing by! They have a swim slide but that was closed. The staff were very helpful. Plan on staying there again next time we go to Albuquerque

I checked into the hotel late evening. The staff was very helpful and on point! I did not have to wait for someone to help me. The hotel was clean and quiet. The kitchen was still open and the food was great.

Didn't have the room I reserved available, except on a floor that was under construction. Strong paint fumes caused headaches and construction crews provided (unwanted) wake-up service. "Satisfaction Guarantee" is a farce--it means the front desk staff will repeat "I'm sorry" until you get tired and go away.

The rooms were dirty and the pillows smelled of dirty laundry. The staff was very rude and disrrspectful, when I left my $45 charger, they claimed they never found it, even though I explained right where it was and what it looked like.

The hotel manager is obviously incompetent and it runs through the whole organization. Front desk tells you they are book for the night you want but you can go online and book a room. I left my sun glasses in the room on checkout was told they would get them asked three times they never went to get them tried the next morning but housekeeping. Was. Closed and I had to catch a flight. Also rotten fruit hanging in baskets at the front desk just about tells the whole story

Recently stayed for a night just me and the wife for a quick night in ABQ. We have never stayed here but will definitely stay again. The room is nice and relaxing with plenty of space. We upgraded to a suite and it was very spacious and accommodating. Our room had 1 full bath and a half bath, We visited the lounge for a quick drink, nice atmosphere and good price. Didn't try breakfast though it did smell good. They also have a water slide in the pool area that I'm sure kids will enjoy. It's loca... Read more

The Garden Inn was a great place to stay for three days in Albuquerque. Close to many restaurants, attractions, and a nice mall. The mall and many restaurants were in walking distance. Would stay there again. The staff was friendly, the rooms large and clean, and maid service prompt.

This hotel is being renovated...but you wouldn't know that work is being accomplished. Great room and great location. Within walking distance to restaurants and mall. Check in was smooth as we were welcomed with water, hot tea and cookies.

We selected this hotel because of its nearness to a conference we were attending, but it provided us a nice walk each morning and a feeling of coming home every evening. Service was quick and efficient. The room was quiet and clean. This price was reasonable.

It looks like they are in the process of making things better as the lobby was undergoing some construction, but our room could have used a bit of TLC too. Our shower did not fully engage nor did it drain properly The beds were super stiff too like a rock. It was not until check out that I found out that you are able to select the firmness of mattress you would like to sleep on? That would have been nice to know? I booked my hotel through the Hotels.com app which I love because I earn free nig... Read more

Do not stay on the side of the interstate. It was so loud that we did not sleep well at all. The hallways were dirty from construction. The lobby is under construction and the front staff is frustrated by this.

First time to stay in a Hilton Garden Inn and found it quite nice, used Hilton Honors points for the stay with a little cash added to it. Well worth it. Choose my own room on the Hilton app and choose a 6th floor room...absolutely quiet and rest was excellent. Not the best view of the Sandia Mtns but there was a view which was nice. There is lobby improvement going on which caused a little noise when walking through the lobby but nothing that was horrible. The desk staff was extremely fast, fri... Read more

Looked on hotel.com for a room. Found a place to fit my needs for our family. Free breakfast and pool were a need. Got checked in as we have stayed in the same type place many times before and never disappointed. Well got into the room and immediately saw the bed was going to be an issue. I should have slept on the floor! My back hurt more after waking this am than if I would have slept on a pile of rocks. It had the knob to adjust the firmness but clearly was broke. Also chose hotel for the p... Read more

We love this facility - especially the walk in shower rooms (hate climbing into a tub for a shower). The rooms are clean and comfortable. One of the best aspects of staying here is their restaurant. It's not your typical hotel food. Nope, their chef, Dakota, puts a New Mexico twist to the dishes. Love chilies? Yep, they're in the meatloaf (one of .hubby's favorite). I had the duck fat fries and Philly cheese steak with hatch chilies - great! Hubby had the New Mexico sampler of tamale, e... Read more
