This hotel in the heart of downtown Albuquerque is a gem . The staff all seem to put customer service at the top of their list. Dietrich who drove our shuttle helped us find our way around the city and ensured we found a restaurant on a late Sunday arrival .

Location of hotel was within minutes of Old Town and other attractions. However, the bathrooms and rooms were small. The rooms were kept clean thru out our stay, but I did notice room service trays setting in the hallways for over a day. The entire staff from front desk to maid service were friendly and helpful.

We stayed here in May 2016 and couldn't have asked for better service. We were granted early check-in and late check out because of our flight times, and the friendly staff made it clear that they were interested in satisfying our needs. We took advantage of the free (within 3-mile radius) hotel shuttle. The hotel is in a great, safe location close to downtown dining and entertainment, and only a few blocks from rail transit. Overall, the hotel is nice and clean if you do not park. They charge you $12 to park overnight, however, if an event is going on at the convention center, you cannot find parking in the parking lot. They tried to send me to a parking garage, walk underground in a tunnel and then come into the lobby that way. I was completely uncomfortable about doing that as it was night time and I did not feel safe. If they want to do that they should have had Valet. I know that some of the people parked t... Read more

Not good for the price. No microwave, no fridge and the worst parking lot ever. I would never go back just because of the parking lot and the additional 12 dollars a day to park. Then if the lot is full you get to park across the street.

Do not stay here if you want to get some sleep. The A/C is incredibly old and loud. I asked the front desk if there was anything they could do and they freely admitted their A/C was old and could not be fixed.

Convenient to downtown Albuquerque. Certainly within walking distance to many downtown attractions. Rooms are very clean with excellent hotel staff at your service. Hotel as a complimentary yummy cooked to order breakfast served in their little restaurant. Only disappointment was swimming pool and pool deck was smaller than my bedroom and capacity 18 people. Tiny pool for huge hotel. I would stay here again !

Better hotels for the price close by. Everything was extra from refrigerator to breakfast - hotels close by have more options and interesting character. This is in the heart of the business district and has a modern feel - others in my business party stayed at lovely Southwestern hotels that had many extras and perks. For example - the pool is just terrible tiny and no spa - decor of whole place is modern and weird,

This hotel is great! I stayed for a week and had a absolutely no problems. It is typical for a more mature, established hotel in a downtown area but if is well maintained. The staff was great all around especially at the front desk and in the dining room. The location has easy access to restaurants and other downtown attractions. I travel to Albuquerque often and I've never stayed here before but that will change in the future.

Not the biggest gym but if you need to get a workout it will do fine. We found all the staff we were in contact with to be very friendly. Even the Starbucks employee! My wife and I travel a lot? I didn't really feel this hotel was up to the Doubletree standard. When I checked in I didn't receive a cookie, which is their trademark. Second, the facility was a little dated and not as clean as it should be. Third, the bath tub had a very slow drain. Fourth, the air conditioning was really noisy. Visiting Albuquerque? Doubletree by Hilton is the perfect location to visit all the downtown sites or attending an event at the Convention Center. Excellent staff and nice accommodations. Check out their restaurant or grab a cup of coffee at the Starbucks in the lobby.

I love staying at the Doubletree Downtown ABQ because the staff is always friendly, it is centrally located to most things I need to get to, and the rooms are always very comfortable! I will be back in a couple weeks and this is my hotel of choice downtown.

On site dinning was horrible as we had to order at the bar. With two little kids, it was really inappropriate. Neighbor woke us up at one am. Attempted requests to quiet down, ignored even after security was sent up. Finally got to sleep at two am. Made the next day that more exhausting.

My adult son and I spent eight days at the Dbletree/ABQ and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Staff was very helpful and responded quickly and kindly to every request from getting a room fridge to a shuttle trip back and forth to the drugstore. We frequently slept in and the staff did not disturb us. The downsides: Parking, the lot is too small for the number of guests and large trucks. Also, the pool is quite small and not very tempting (e.g not clean) but the fitness center was nicely appoint... Read more

Stayed at this hotel for the Balloon Festival and we were glad we did. Every employee we dealt with was friendly and met our every need. The bed was comfortable with plenty of fluffy pillows. The room was clean throughout and large enough to spread out in. The shuttle driver's were fantastic and dropped off and picked up within a three mile radius from the hotel. A great perk indeed!

Hotel in business area but convenient for visiting downtown or Old Town. Typical Doubletree hotel. We were there for the balloon fiesta, which was terrific! Jacquelyn Torrez was very friendly and helpful with things to do in area, suggesting Uber for transportation to tramway. Great advise. Saw her at breakfast and also in bar area. She must work all the time!!

This hotel needs some major upgrades and overhauls, particularly the rooms. The swimming pool is a total joke and without doubt the worst one ever at a DoubleTree! A real plus is having a north facing room on an upper floor during the International Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. In this room you can have a great view of all launchings during the event as we did.

I booked the Doubletree many months prior to my visit due to the excellent rate during the Balloon Fiesta weekend/week. The hotel is downtown and there isn't much nearby if you are walking. This was fine since I had a rental car and parking was complimentary. Hotel lobby is modern and offers a quick coffee stand as well as a restaurant. Rooms are older but mine was clean and quite comfortable. Bedding was nice, there was a large screen television and a nice desk. The bathroom was standard ... Read more

My stay at the Double Tree Convention Center could have been better. The hotel, while recently redecorated, needs an upgrade in customer service training for their personnel. The restaurant has been mediocre for the last several years and the internet connections in the guest room and public areas were poor. Its location next to the Convention Center is the only reason I return.

The Hilton brand is one of my favorites, not only because of the benefits of being an HHonors Member, but because they have always upheld their promise to comfort their guests. Although, it seems to be a bit pricey, it is well worth the payment. :) I recommend this hotel chain to everyone; it is always a pleasant stay.

I chose this property for my stay in Albuquerque for the International Balloon Fiesta. The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are well kept, and the staff is very friendly. Michael in particular was a pleasure to deal with. Not much going on in Downtown at night, but the surrounding area felt safe. Uber rides to key places throughout Albuquerque were really cheap, so I'd say the location was good.

We stayed at the DoubleTreee from 10/1-10/4/16 for the opening days of the International Balloon Fiesta. As we travelled with a large tour group, the hotel was very chaotic. The Grand Ballroom did not have the chairs out for the group meeting! Many of the hotel staff were also the servers in the Olas Restaurant and the lobby bar. This is a typical double tree hotel. The rooms were average with average repair. The parking lot was the main problem -- not enough stalls for the people, causing me to park on the street. You have until 8 AM to move it, or get ticketed. While we were there, there were police in the parking area. The food in the lower level restaurant was quite good, including a buffet of very fresh fruits and homemade and freshly prepared omlets. We were very happy with the breakfast. The carpeting and o...
