Last night my husband and I checked into your hotel without our credit cards because they had been stollen from old town about one hour earlier. Monica could see our reservation, provided us with emergency supplies and provided us with great kindness knowing that we would get to the bank this am. I attended a conference at the Marriott. The staff was amazing! They were just so friendly and upbeat. It makes a difference in the stay when the staff seem to love their jobs and enjoy what they do. Trust me, you don't find that kind of attitude everywhere. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. I would highly recommend the Uptown Marriott.

We stayed for two nights and were very pleased with our stay. Checking in was fast and easy; the young lady who helped us was great and gave us some of the best service we have had in a while. The property was very nice and clean. Wonderful view from the room I was assigned. Did room service and the employee who delivered the meal was very polite and courteous. Directly across the street from a shopping center and a late night sports bar for a late meal or drink.

I visit the area frequently for work and stay further north. By default I decided to stay at this location and I believe I'm making a change. Great location, walking distance to the outdoor mall and many dining options. In addition, this location has a great fitness room and wonderful employees! Pool is heated, indoor and outdoor connects with nice separate grass behind with benches. Hallways could be cleaner- need to be vacuumed. Air Conditioner works really well. Looks like a slightly dated Marriott might look. Sold out both nights.

The staff was friendly and helpful and greeted me every time I passed by the front desk. There are plenty of eateries nearby but if you don't feel like going out, the hotel's restaurant is quite good. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. From the front desk staff to the restaurant/bar employees, from cleaning staff to gift shop workers---everyone was up-beat, pleasant and keen to make sure we had everything we wanted. Haved stayed here many times, and plan on many more. Always have a nice room, and the breakfast is so good here. Any issues we've ever had (and there haven't been but a very few minor ones I can remember) have been handled quickly and cheerfully. The hotel was below expectations for a Marriott hotel. I spend many nights a year at nearly all of Marriott's brands and this hotel was one of the worst, for a variety of reasons. The property is very well located for an Albuquerque experience. Turn the corner and you are on I-40. The best part of this property is the hotel personnel. They are welcoming and very eager to help and to please with any of your needs. The concierge lounge is well worth the price as it is impeccably clean and very well stocked. So enjoyed our stay at the Albuquerque Marriott. The staff was very friendly and helpful and offered water on a hot day. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. This Marriott offers the traveler the best of all worlds. It is right off the I-40 near the big shopping malls in Albuquerque. It has both an indoor and outdoor pool, a decent work-out room, guest coffee free in the room and in the lobby. Luxurious and comfortable beds and great staff. Stayed here while traveling to grand canyon and vegas as well as california. This was a large hotel from the outside but the lobby area was not. Room was smaller than expected. Bed was not comfortable. Conceige lounge for night was not good at all. Very little to eat and people staffing it were not interested in guests just talking to each other. I visited Albuquerque about 10 years ago for another conference that was held in the same hotel! Not many changes in the meantime. Comfortable rooms, unexpected view out the window of hot air balloons in the distance one morning, very clean. Thanks for the abundant free water in the heat! Very nice pool. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. The shuttle bus service is limited to a radius of five miles--so getting to the tramway or the Old Town required finding alternative transportation.

The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed for 6 nights total attending a convention with an extra night before and after for relaxation. The staff was friendly. The only item I was wondering about was the use of queen size blankets on a king size bed. I was glad it was summer time and we were able to make due since I usually have my feet sticking out anyway.

This Marriott is in a great location, located by a mall in eastern Albuquerque. The hotel itself is dated with the exception of the lobby and the lounge. Our family stayed one night at this hotel on a long road trip. First, location was great right off interstate 40, located next to significant shopping area with many eating options and shopping. Physically, this hotel is a little run-down. The rooms need a refresh, mattresses are the old hard kind, and sheets are thin. Public areas are OK but hardly up to the highest Marriott standards. The customer service is very good. The front desk even called about 20 min after our arrival to make sure all was acceptable. It was a good opp to ask about the wifi. I was pleased that as a Marriott member the wifi upgrade is reimbursed upon checkout. We did dine in the restaurant and our waiter provided good service up until he got caught up talking with another table...we waited about 15 minutes to get our bill. From the time we pulled into the parking lot we felt welcome ( they were waiting & waving at us). I only have good things to say, everything and everybody took extra care to make us feel welcome. I have stayed at this hotel at least 20 times over the years. I went to high school in Albuquerque so whenever I come back to town the Marriott is where I stay. I remember when it opened in 1984. One of the things I love is the indoor/outdoor pool. But I do miss the hot tub. The hotel is still a great place to stay. This Marriott is stuck in the 1980s in terms of decor and feel. It's really an uninviting and poor design and the rooms are very small. That said, the prices are very reasonable and seem to reflect a "what do you expect for around $100" feeling. The location is near perfect for getting around town and access to I-40. We stayed at the hotel for a weekend get away. The hotel is located within walking distance of lots of shopping and restaurants. The hotel's breakfast buffet was really good, with lots of options. I'm sure someone from the State of NM wanted to stay here for a conference. It wasn't good. Four tries to get a working door key. Got a bottle of water at check-in, so that's something. Did not have the room we reserved. Gave us a handicapped room as some sort of compensation. No internet in the room. Only Wi-Fi is downstairs by the bar. As if we wanted to be there. Really? My husband and I chose this hotel for its location. I must say it beyond met our expectations. We got two complimentary vouchers for drinks and the breakfast buffet which I must add was delicious. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with exceptional customer service. Julian the Bellhop was excellent, a truly delightful young man. He went above and beyond and seemed to love his job. I've stayed at the Albuquerque Marriott 3 times in the past 6 months for business and pleasure. The staff at this hotel exceeds expectations and is very accommodating. Food is very good and lounge is excellent. Overall, it's probably the best hotel in Albuquerque, and does a great job of catering to both business travel and tourism.

I have stayed at this Marriott several times over the last two years, and every time I go in I am blown away by the friendly hospitable staff. The front desk team always accomadates guest in a timely manner and makes sure they get what ever they need. Stayed here for an anniversary getaway. Really pleased! Hotel staff were lovely and helped get a mixup with one of our amenities sorted out quickly. Very convenient to Uptown. Room was cozy in a good way. Comfy bed! We were impressed with breakfast. There's cold and hot options as well as an omelette station. Only thing is I wish they had mini fridges in the rooms. The location is great because of the stores, and proximity to the Heights, Downtown. Easy access to to Interstate. No fee parking, security patrol, inviting lobby and friendly staff. I had a requirement that was missed by a guest rep and fortunately a more experienced one was able to make it right. Ms Grant took ownership of my concern and turned around what was a stressful situation. I actually extended my stay by a day or 2. Great hospitality customer service!

Its not the best place in the world, but its clean and the staff is nice. I stay here anytime I need to travel for work to ABQ and some rooms are great, while others def need a little TLC. The gym is nice but small, ive never used the pool, but the bar makes great drinks. Room service is a bit overrated, I had 2 mediocre experiences and wont order it again, I usually have a rental car so I just drive elsewhere for better food.

The sincere staff at the Albuquerque Marriott on Louisiana Boulevard almost make up for the traffic noise. I'm sensitive to traffic noise, and the hotel is right on the free way. I really like to stay at the Albuquerque Marriott on Louisiana when in Albuquerque. I find the rates are good, they take good care of me as a Marriott GOLD member, and I find the location good. Overall, I highly recommend. They always give me breakfast coupons as a GOLD member and they have a nice buffet.

The thermostat in our room could not be read because it's digital screen was damaged and the toilet ran incessantly. We stayed at the hotel using our annual Chase free night stay so I wasn't overly concerned but the property is ready for a refresh.

I traveled through Albuquerque and stayed at the Uptown Marriott on both occasions. The entire staff went out of their way to make my family feel at home. There was one employee, Bethany Grant who gave us special treatment and also upgraded us to a suite just because we decided to stay a second time on this trip. In addition the rates were great for any hotel in a town as large as Albuquerque and especially for a Marriott.

This was an excellent choice for our Albuquerque visit. Close to the airport, but not an airport hotel. Located uptown, it is close to both an indoor shopping mall and an outdoor mall. Excellent top line shops. Hotel breakfast was excellent, a very wide variety. Hotel was totally full, however it did not appear crowded, or uncomfortable.

A normal Marriott for business travel. The bar was very lively, mostly because there isn't much to do in Albuquerque. It was very nice to talk with other professionals. The rooms are pretty normal, they are clean. This hotel gets the job done, no frills. The staff was always great.

This property looks good on the outside, but has some real issues. The desk staff were very nice. As soon as I checked in and went up to my room I noticed a leaky toilet that made a lot of noise. I reported it, was assured it would get fixed, and left my room. I came back several hours later to find a toilet flapper on the sink next to my toothbrush and the toilet was still running. The best feature of this hotel is the staff - very friendly and helpful. I arrived early morning and was able to check my bags until I could check in to my room around 1pm (two hours early). The major drawback was my car was broken into during broad daylight on a Sunday afternoon only a few steps from the front door next to the "Reserved for Platinum & Gold Guest" spots - not the distant lots. This Marriott was conveniently located, clean, attractively decorated, and the service was terrific. The only reason I didn't rate it as excellent is because the air conditioner in the hallway was set excruciatingly low. We nicknamed the hallway Siberia. But, other than that, our stay was pleasant. We stayed at the Albuquerque Marriott on a Friday night and woke to our family's bicycles missing. The 1/2" Kryptonite lock was cut on the rack of our van, which was parked under a light, in front of the conference center door, and directly in front of a camera. Checked in this hotel for a conference in October. The room was dirty with plenty of dust everywhere, very bad style and very old furnitures. The roomkeeping service was bad too, as the roomkeeper only made the bed, while forgetting to change wet towels, add wash and shampoo products and coffee related products. I love this hotel! I travel to Albuquerque often and this is a new favorite. The bellman was prompt and knowledgeable. I forgot my makeup traincase and didn't realize it until that night when we were 400 miles away. I called and spoke with the front desk. She was so sweet. Room did not have wash clothes nor hand towels in at least nine rooms. Muffins we bought and brought back to room were eaten by maid. Newspapers sitting on side chair were removed from room by maid without being read by us. Room f323 Oct 1 to Oct 3.

The staff were nice but someone ought to introduce this hotel to the 21st century. The decor is from the 80s. The AC in my room didn't work, it blew hot and cold simultaneously. They did fix it after I called, but I could tell that this was a very old unit on its last legs. My first day, the housekeeper completely skipped my room. I have never experienced that before. Of the four Marriott properties we stayed at during our swing through the West, this was ‚?? by far ‚?? the worst and most disappointing. While the staff was young and seemed eager to please, we saw no managers over the age of 40 to direct and mentor the staff. We stayed 4 nights at this hotel a week ago. From the outside this hotel looks impressive. We were looking for a hotel to use a base while traveling around the area. Found the people at the hotel to be very pleasant. One of the reasons we picked this hotel was for the pool. It has an indoor/outdoor pool so we figured we would get to use one or the other. Stayed here 2 nights during the balloon festival. Very nice and clean rooms and friendly staff. Walking distance to nice restaurants. Nice view on the 18th floor of the balloons from a distance. I wish the Marriott Hotels would get safes in their rooms. Stayed in Marriott in Little Rock last month and they didn't have a safe either.

This hotel is an excellent value. It's nothing extravagant, but it's a clean comfy place to lay your head. The rooms and bathrooms are somewhat small. But, the location off of I40 is ideal. There are lots of places in the near vicinity to eat and shop. All the staff encountered were gracious and pleasant. I would stay here again if need be.

We visited here today, and had 3 rooms with 2 double beds, and instead we were given 2 rooms with 1 king bed, and 1 room with 2 queen beds. The employee was completely unapologetic about their error. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Stayed for a conference. Good hotel, good spot. Clean. Good mountain views from the hotel and right in a great shopping/dining area. Pretty cheap uber ride from the airport. Not much else to report, sort of exactly what you'd expect from a Marriott.

I found the staff (many of them) to be more eager to help with anything, more interested in our having a good time/experience that any other hotel I've been at. I wish I could remember more names, but Elmer in the restaurant stands out as one who was always asking if we wanted more of xxx or anything else or if we were enjoying our food. Very nice lobby. Rooms are ok, No refrigerators. Very comfortable bed. Bathrooms are so dated and small. I would stay here again. Staff was nice, but limited interactions. I do love the old feel of warm elegance here verses the cold modern look.

I missed a fridge in the bedroom. The staff here was very, very helpful and anxious to please. Breakfast was great, lunch choice was quite limited. Lots of places to eat very nearby. The day I arrived, there was a large cooler near the elevator with cold water with some fruit in it. A nice touch, especially in that very dry climate. But.....I never saw it again. The customer service was amazing! The staff were very welcoming and so tentative. The lobby was very open and festive for the holiday!! Everyone was incredibly nice and so helpful, rooms were clean, checking in and out was fast, and the location was is in a great shopping area and right off the highway.
