Just spent the week here and had a great experience, elevator is being upgraded so ask for a first floor option. Rooms can be smaller here than newer courtyard hotels. Bar area very nice with limited food options. They also have Starbucks as well

After reading some reviews, was skeptical about staying here. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The only issue I saw was that the 3rd floor hallway carpet was dirty. Room was clean. Would stay here again.

We often stay at Marriotts because we have so many points. Of course, we usually can't use the points when we really want to, because Marriott has so many block out periods and rules. This was a perfect example. We had 4 of us and needed a suite. Points can't be used for suites, so we paid cash. We booked a suite with 2 queens. When we got to the hotel, they only had a suite with a king size bed, so one of the kids had to sleep on a mattress on the floor and the other on the pull-out sofa. This... Read more

We stayed 3 nights. The room was small but well arranged with a desk and a sofa so one could work on the laptop either at the desk or use the small table/desk at the sofa. The bed was close to the wall on one side and a larger person would have a challenge getting by. The room was quiet, as we requested. There is a seasonal a pool in the rear of the hotel. The room had a small refrigerator and a microwave. There are a couple of restaurants in walking distance and the hotel has some food in the ... Read more

I'll start with the good: Great beds, great location, great lobby and common area, ample parking, different food choices right across the street, good ice machine, good shampoo and soap, pretty friendly staff, pretty clean room, clean laundry machines (but only 1 washer, 1 dryer), late check out was available. Now the bad: No continental breakfast. Thin walls and floors/ceilings- pretty sure there were no hippos, but it sounded like it. The pool (one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel)... Read more

We were in the Tinton Falls area for an event at the Molly Pitcher Inn. The Courtyard by Marriott on Hope Rd. Was the perfect spot for us to spend our down time. The hotel itself was very clean and quiet. All of the staff from the front desk to the cleaning crew were very polite and accommodating. After an 8 hour drive we wanted a recommedation for dinner that was in walking distance. The front desk was very helpful with this. We spent three nights here and would return if we were ever in the... Read more

Perfect place for a lacrosse tournament. The hotel was kid friendly and they had a large gathering room where you coulee order food. The food was good and they had plenty to satisfy the kids. The rooms were nice and the location was very easy.

This hotel is basic and clean. Bed and pillows are too soft for me and my spouse. There was also a water bug that was crawling on the wall and no staff available immediately to handle it so we exterminated it ourselves. Good location of want to stay before or after a concert at pnc.

The hotel was nice, room was a bit on the small side with a small sofa bed. Service at check-in definitely could have been better. Wouldn't have killed her to crack a smile or to be more courteous and maybe tell us a bit about the hotel's amenities. The gentleman who works the morning shift however was more kind. A continental breakfast would have been nice and the room to be looked over better after being cleaned as the countertops were sticky and there was hair in the tub but it happens. Other... Read more

Double tree Hilton was booked so we got a last minute room at Courtyard Marriot. Previous reviews are pretty accurate. It is expensive. The room was basic and not maintained as well as the Hilton. However its right next to the highway, restaurants, and other commercial businesses. Computers' worked well. This hotel also has an outdoor pool. I dont like giving bad negative reviews but its good for a short stay if all the other hotels nearby are booked.

Overall my week long stay here was fine, the room felt a bit dated but it was an okay size for just myself staying there. My biggest complaint about the room was the window a/c unit. The water condenser in the unit had a funky musty smell to it. Not sure if they don't clean those things out that often but when it kicked on it lasted for awhile. The bistro was okay for breakfast but the lunch/dinner meals were pretty bland. The prices in the bistro were also fairly high but its a hotel so I figu... Read more

Great hotel just a short drive from popular beaches. Very friendly staff and EXCEPTIONAL housekeeping...rooms are clean and daily service is prompt and impeccable. The outside pool area is very clean and serene - a great spot to relax. Food and beverages are available in the Bistro; however, there are several options within walking distance that are more cost effective. Rooms have a small refrigerator and a microwave and parking is free. Great stay and I will definitely return.

The room was clean. The water pressure in the bathroom sink was non existent. I called the front desk to ask for late check out, which i thought could be granted up until 4pm for Platinum Rewards Members, (which i am), if the Hotel can support it. I'm pretty sure they werent booked to capacity. When i called the front desk, the Gentleman on the phone ask me what time i would like to leave. David was his name. I told him i'd like to leave at 2pm. David proceeded to tell me he could only do 1... Read more

I have mixed feelings about this property. But first I'll note the good before the not-so-good. Pros: The hotel has good aesthetics. The look of the building from the outside stands out because it looks colonial. The lobby & bistro are beautiful and modern. The front desk staff were all friendly and professional. The bed is VERY comfortable. That was probably my favorite part. There is also a small refrigerator and microwave in the room which was convenient. There are also a few restaurants wit... Read more

We stayed at this Marriott for a Wedding. The wedding was not in the motel but close by. Had a wonderful time in the area. Did not spend much time in the room we had, but have no complaints. We would stay here again.

The hotel is totally geared up as a business hotel and the majority of people that stay here depart before 9am in the morning. The pool opens at 9 and is wonderful and heated and I struggled to drag myself away to explore the area as I was far too comfortable and loved the hammocks. The sun goes down at about 5.30 so, although the pool is open after this its not as enticing. The only thing I think they could improve on here is a couple of portable sunshades around the pool as it does get hot an... Read more

We have stayed at this hotel three times in the past few years, and have had a great experience each time! The staff is very friendly and accommodating (when my kids didn't want to sleep in the same bed, they brought an air mattress to our room, and lots more!); the outdoor pool and patio is really nice and they had new chairs and hammocks by the pool this year; the rooms are clean; and the beds are really comfortable! This is a great hotel to stay in the summer time because in addition to havin... Read more

From check-in to check-out all the staff presented themselves as very friendly, welcoming and willing to assist with our needs. From the front desk, the maintenance people as well as the cleaning staff, everyone we encountered offered a smile and a pleasant greeting of assistance. We had a single king room which was well appointed and comfortable. The lobby, cafe and general surroundings were up-to-date and well maintained. The pool and outside seating were equally well maintained and just a ple... Read more

This was my first time staying at the Courtyard in Tinton Falls. I've stayed at both the Double Tree and the Sheraton Eatontown dozens of times, and when I first arrived I was amazed at how much nicer this hotel seemed. Overall, it just felt newer. The staff were courteous, and it felt like your typical (positive) Courtyard experience. Around 1230 AM I was sitting on the couch in my second floor room (room 219) working on my laptop, when something caught my eye. I looked over and right in the m... Read more

Updates were great, bed comfortable. Some big issues: loud group of guests out in pool/courtyard area late at night. Was woken up 3 times as room was on pool side and could make out everything they were saying. No apparent action from staff to curtail the noise. Poor soundproofing of noise between rooms and hallway. The room we had smelled strongly of moisture and humidity, which will probably lead to mold if it's not present already.
