We had a wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza Saddle Brook. Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too, must recommend the hotel's Sky Restaurant Lounge for the exquisite salmon dish. Very reasonably priced too for a luxury hotel.

We stopped in here for a short trip on our way to NYC, i have to say i was really impressed with the amenities and overall property features. Staff was super nice and helped us check in a bit early which was much appreciated. Rooms were brand new and upgraded with up-to date furniture and bathroom.

What a magnificent spot to stay, staying here at New Crowne Plaza - Saddle Brook Hotel is dependably an extraordinary ordeal. Lovely stylistic decorations and open rooms with A 40-inch cable screen digital television and coffee machine with complimentary coffee are offered in every room. It was Set amongst lovely arranging and water highlights. Stayed for 3 evenings and it was as the quintessential Napa experience-redesigned, wonderful and lavish private rooms (and for once, rooms look simpl... Read more

Nice place, brand new , the room is very clean and the bed is very comfortable, the staff are very friendly , and the breakfast is very good , I'll definitely go back again when I visit the area and I'll recommend it to every one I know. The check in was very easy and as mentioned that the staff are very nice , the bathroom is very clean , my kids really enjoyed the stay and it's very quite the only negative I can say is that there is no Hot Tub but it's not a big deal , it's worth the money

I thought that my stay would be nicer then what it was. This hotel is located next to a railroad track and a very buy highway. When I first got there I was told that on top of the price that I had paid for the night I would have to pay an additional $50.00. Even though the room looked like the pitchers that they have online it is small. The floor in the bathroom was dirty, the wallpaper was bubbled and looked as though it was pulling apart. The toilet was not screwed to the floor and rocked to one... Read more

This is a beautiful, new hotel with a fun circular design and friendly, efficient front desk staff. All the rooms are more or less wedge-shaped, with a wide window wall. Attractively decorated, clean and modern. But the location is strange - right next to railroad tracks (with train whistles intruding frequently) and on an unmarked street. It's nominally on Kenny Place, but there is no street sign on the main road, and no hotel sign until you are right in the shadow of the building. Worse yet,... Read more

I have stayed here twice now on business. The exterior of the building is a 1960's style Holiday Inn. The interior of the building is all brand new with state of the art furnishings and very comfortable. Substantial investment has been made to make the hotel one that feels and looks comfortable and can support a typical business trip. Have eaten at the restaurant....first time was mediocre but second trip was very good. As they have gotten more experience, the food definitely improved. Restauran... Read more

My hubbie and I wanted to spend a night out for "father's" day. I must say that we were impressed with the hotel saff, the appearance of the hotel, and of course-- the cleanliness of the room and the soft bed!!!?????? The only downside was that we had a queen sized bed which was alittle short because my leg hung alittle. I had to remove the pillow to move up to avoid my feet frm hanging. My hubbie is 5ft 6inches so he couldn't fit either. He was still happy though, he just said, "king sized b... Read more

The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star is there is a GREAT shower with two sprays - one overhead rain shower and a standard spray - but no bathtub. I do love my soaker bath after a day of travel or work. Otherwise, the rooms are tastefully decorated, the staff is over the top helpful and the cost is appropriate for the accommodations. I did not try the restaurant on the 12th floor so I can't comment on it.

Just remodeled, looks to be staffing up, front desk was helpful, restaurant is upstairs for breakfast lunch and dinner little pricey for hotel food, plenty of places near by wait staff getting up to speed, but good rooms for the money close to airports, no shuttle so uber is 20-25 depending from where...

This was a great hotel. I can't say anything "bad" about it (except maybe for the fact that there is no free coffee service in the morning). The room was clean, spacious, well decorated, and the bathroom was one of the nicest I've seen in any hotel or motel. I only stayed one night, and it was certainly convenient to where I needed to be, although it was situated in a location that kept me scratching my head. There is nowhere that you can walk to from there, so you are "stuck" eating in the... Read more

Stayed here for 3 days. Everything looks brand new and clean. It was at a perfect location that you can drive to Woodbury / Jersey City easily. Room was well decorated and you can find everything you need. They don't have complementary breakfast.(But you can find a lot of food nearby) They do have a big parking lot.

This former Holiday Inn has undergone an incredible transformation. After sitting vacant for most of this decade, Crowne Plaza has delivered a surprisingly delightful property. Approaching the hotel from the south, it??s not exactly a skyline magnet. The hexagonal shape and drab colors do not translate to a warm invitation. Passing by a smoke shop ?? and what appears to be a thriving one at that ?? did not exactly seed confidence. But any doubts were immediately erased upon entering the ... Read more

Great, newly renovated hotel with friendly staff and clean, new rooms. Not easy to find, but with Apple or Google Maps, not a big deal. Close enough to NYC, but with FREE Parking and much lower costs, it's an ideal spot to save money. I'm concerned with some of the room hardware, which is still quite new but starting to show signs it's not industrial strength, which may be needed in a hotel. Overall ... highly recommended.

I love that every room got a view and best of all the resturaunt's 360 view. Our room nice , my favorite part being the shower. The bathroom floor wasn't washed and had some remaining smears and splashing but everything else was nice. The staff in the resturaunt and front desk MORE than made up for it though. No one staff member I came across was rude or too busy to help. They made my daughter smile and gave us a great meal every time!

Complaint #1: Upon checking into our room, my daughter found a pillow with make up stains on it and a pubic hair ironed into the fabric. Front desk staff was apologetic, but made no offer of compensation other than a new pillow. A comped breakfast would have been nice. Complaint #2: No hot water. Call to front desk #2 Complaint #3: No soap. Glad I checked before getting into the shower. I booked this hotel for an out of town employee - was sent email confirmations of amenities that didnt exist, forced him to pay upon check in for a room our business had contracted (took an entire month for him to get his credit card refunded), was offered free breakfast for the "miscommunication" and billed anyway, wasted hours and hours of our time with daily calls to management and accounting, visits to the hotel in hopes of resolving these issues. My wife, one year old, and I stayed in this hotel for one night. When we packed milk, fruit, and other perishables for the baby, it never crossed our minds that a modern hotel room could be without a refrigerator. To our surprise, this was the case at the Crowne Plaza. I called the front desk, and was told that refrigerators could be available, but only on request and we would have to be added to a waiting list. I asked if we could keep our perishables in the house refrigerator and was told no s... Read more

I recently stayed there during a family reunion and have mixed feelings. My rate was $149 pee night which was reasonable, a bit more than I was hoping for but wanting a nice stay I was OK with it. The interiors of the lobby and the rooms were nice, attractive and clean. Service, restaurant and lack of attention to detail was several beats off. Examples: thermostat in my room did not work initially....the batteries in the remote were dead; pay per view movies listed as am option in the brochure... Read more

I have to say , the hotel facilities are newly renovated , modern and nice. I stayed here the night of my wedding , and also reserved a block of rooms for my wedding guests. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to my wedding venue. Out of the entire wedding planning experience, dealing with the management at crowne plaza saddle brook was the most frustrating. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews. It was a very nice hotel. A new renovated room with nice bathroom. And big enough that my toddler could run around. We stayed 4nights and parking was free and front desk was friendly. We had room services for a couple of times from the hotel restaurant and it was surprisingly good!!

My husband and I came here along with 10 other people for a missions trip, and it's very nice here! I only got one photo of the lobby that has the tall chairs and the others were from the top floor where the restaurant and bar are at and the view. The restaurant was pretty pricey like the cheapest thing was a 14oz pretzel for $15 so we ordered Chinese for dinner to be delivered to us and it was awesome!

I stayed here for 3 weeks on a business trip and it was a great stay. All the staff were fantastic, more then helpful, and willing to assist you. The 1st day I enter the hotel the front desk greeted me with a smile and a kind word. Keanah and Mercy would ask me daily Mr. King how was your day. Garret and Gerald would ask Mr. King how was your work out. Seymour would drive me to dinner and always had a funny joke. Miss Juicy the front end supervisor is the best. I went with a friend to try out the Sky Restaurant since we live relatively near the hotel. The front desk person was very polite and helped me when I arrived as I never have been there before. We were greeted as we entered the restaurant so I was pleased with the service we received. We enjoyed our food and the drinks we had were also great. The view was amazing. I have definitely recommended this to friends and will be returning myself very soon.

Stayed at this hotel October 2016 5 nights for business. The hotel staff are professional and friendly, the hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable but the shower and bathroom are very small. The hotel offers a restaurant/ bar on the top floor, a fitness center with plenty of cardio machines, two benches, dumbellls ranging from 5lbs to 50lbs and a cable machine. The hotel is close to a major highway and Newark airport therefore expect a lot of noise during the evening. Overall, for business I w... Read more

Rebuilt hotel opened only a few months. Great views from roof-top restaurant. The octagonal building results in unique room shapes. The Cleaning staff and maintenance people were all very helpful as well as Eric in the kitchen. Arrived tired and around 8 pm. So happy there was a restaurant and bar in the building so I didn't have to get back out! Absolutely gorgeous lobby and the rooms are beyond anything I expected due to the reasonable price! The restaurant food and service was top notch and the view is awesome. I hope to be in the area again for business as I would love to return. Fantastic stay, best yet!!

The staff was courteous and the room was large and clean. We were impressed by the size of the bathroom. But do not stay at this hotel if you want to walk to other stores or restaurants since it is the middle of an industrial area with not much around it. There is a restaurant on site with a courteous and impressive staff but with mediocre food at best. The price of the food did not reflect its quality.
